To say the Chinese governement is, &amp;quot;Right now, they're active, rather than pro-active&amp;quot; is nonsensical as no governemnt on this planet could plan for an earthquake of this magnitude.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I personally think that your comment could be more applicable to the Bush government in their handling of the disaster caused by Hurricane Katrina.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Also, as a non-Chinese national, I could not be accused of defending the Chinese government but it seems that majority of journalists working for western media like yourself has the habit of crtiicizing everyone except the US or any of the western countries. Who gives you that right to criticize and insult another country especially when as in this case China is in crisis?&lt;/p&gt;
