Ah, another Chinese government propaganda team member voicing what the politburo orders him to. Or maybe just another person posting from one of the thousands of Chinese Re-Education prisons, while having a guard's gun pointed at his head or reminding him that torture is a normal mode of prison life in China.

personally i think it was such a “great performance” by both Liu and his team.

everyone should see it was coming.

Welcome to the worst side of chinese communists. money, power and control.

I hope you guys look deeper… it has been a well-crafted act. liu should have dropped out but there were so much money, pride involved. so there it went on display for everyone the “great performance”

The real victims are Liu himself, the Chinese people and the world.

i don’t want to politicize this episode. but let's look at the big picture and deeper behind all these Chinese OLYMPICS. No doubt the Chinese people are great and have many sport talents.

but there is the dangerous machine behind.

it is part of the communist game plan…

it’s hiding right behind Chinese nationalism..

PS: i lived under the communist regime before so i know the system. DON’T ever believe in them. Watch what they do. (these statements are applied to ALL communist regimes around the world — ex: russian current episode in georgia..

As a chinese I want to tell American friends what I saw the reactions of most Chinese to Liuxiang's withdrawl in our country.

First , most people, including Liu's couch didn't weep with disappointment at Liu’s withdrawal but his pain caused by his injury which is intensified just before he enter the stadium. If you understand Chinese, you can surf the net in Chinese, and you will find in blogs, forums and communities almost all chinese are surpport and encourage Liu and wish him recover from the injury early , paying their respects to an great anthlet and understand his withdrawl.

Yes, there are some drawbacks of Chinese communist government at present, which is absolutly true and we all Chinese know this fact well. But what we know better is that in the long long histry of China, each dynasty had its own drawbacks, and each of them has its own way to improve and sustain its governing, including communist part in nowadays.

If you and many Americans like you, keep an hostile perception towards communist party, everthing happened in China will be disgusting, cruel or enven evil in your point of view. We can understand America, but why America can't understand China in a friendly way?

Last, I think sometimes Melinda Liu's posts didn't tell the truth in China, they only stand for her own view or her community's view, not common people in China.
