It is unclear how much the athlete will lose in terms of endorsements and ad revenue, but what is clear is that

re: What Chinese Stars Like Liu Xiang Earn From Sport

http://www.businessvideonews.com/view_news_link.php?nlid=52214&p=1

Now, if you want to know what price other nations are paying for our way of life, watch this video.

I denounce Chevron, Shell and other big oil companies as the worst criminal on earth. Now they are drilling in the amazon and poisonning the natives in theses lands. Just like NIgeria, it will be an environmental disaster. IT must be stopped! Contact the peruvian ambassy and say no to the sale of their forests to american oil companies.

What about human rights violations in China? What about oppressing billions of people. What about a nation of more than a billion people (and growing) polluting the earth and the environment at a rate far greater (and increasing exponentially) than you are hyping? Wildlifeusa should try and redirect some positive energy in the right direction.

In the past, the athletes earned much less than the price they paid. However the unfair deals do not last long. Now, things are different. Money collected from commercials can be great incentives for better performances. If athletes are paid properly and correctly, they will be happier and better motivated.

Athleticism should be something holy and decent. It should not be judged only by monetary criteria. Athleticism should be dreams of every athlete, instead of being only a way to harvest profits.

It is hard for a west individual centered way of thinking to understand an oriental mind, which is ready to contribute for abstract objectives of morality. As a Chinese, I think athletes should make their career a path towards their dreams, instead of ways of making money and getting vanity from the lime light. The athletes should clearly be aware of the fact that their fames come from their success, not from their commercials.

I don’t think it is correct for athletes to frequently participate the commercial and public activities. Every athlete s obliged and destined to ceaselessly move forward, constantly challenging his or her dreams, as for competitions, it is never too long to train. Training can never be excessive as a tiny difference may determine the destiny of athletes by determine success and failure. How can an athlete excel if he spent too much time and energy doing something irrelevant to his career? Some athletes may be too young to realize that, so I think it is necessary to regulate.
