corruption,gangs that run the oil smuggling oprations out of Iraq ,the zeal to the tribe and the affiliation with the religious parties that control Basra are the obstacles to the new era .70% to 80% of Iraqis are sitting on the sideline and have nothing to do with  what is going in Iraq,To win Iraq we need to bring these Iraqis to the middle of the battle and convince them that it is in their best interest to be in the middle of all of this,otherwise the extremists and the gangs will be the only beneficiaries from the fall of the ruthless dictator that made Iraq a big prison.Basra is almost a Shitte city and we will not see the sectrain fight that inflamed Baghdad and the mixed areas ,but we will see a battle between the different Shitte groups to get the biggest piece of the oil pie.God help the ordinary Iraqis in this corrupt society ,and hope that they will realize soon enough (to recover)that the religious parties will lead to no where...

The US will only agree to the British handover to the Iraqis when it (US) is sure that those appointed (Iraqis ) are going to be obedient deputies of the US.
