Must wait some more, democracy is a fragile thing.

Iraqis voted a few times, got their fingers purpled-- now they can get purple in the face at the brutish leaders they elected.

This is a crucial moment for all three presidents to come to some kind of agreement (even a compromise) to put the AfPak wars in the right perspective.

The wars with Taliban in the two nations seem to be escalating. With the American’s intention of intervening the ongoing conflict in the Swat Valley, it could surely lead to further massive deployment of troops to the AfPak border.

Contain if not halt the wars, nobody is going to emerge as a victor in the final analysis; and there can only be more casualties for the already suffering civilians. Seven long years of fighting a futile war, enough is ENOUGH.
