Much of this information may be incorrect.  The Virginia Board of Medicine, for example, lists the year of Dr. Hasan's medical school graduation as 2003, not 2001, and the administration of Virginia Tech is on record as reporting his baccalaureate graduation to have been in 1995, not 1997.

Whatever the year of his medical school graduation might have been (2001 as stated, 2003 as is correct), he could not have been "commissioned as a Psychiatrist" in 1997, some ten years before completing his residency in that specialty area and thus becoming board-eligible.

I was looking over this "Official Military Record" provided by the Pentagon so easily to the press the day after the shooting, and it seems to be missing something very important.

WHY DID THE U.S. ARMY COMMISSION NIDAL HASAN AS A PSYCHIATRIST IN 1997 WHEN HE HAD NO POSTGRADUATE DEGREE IN PSYCHOLOGY?

Not all the information is being released about Fort Hood:

I wonder if "Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan" really is "Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan" .
