I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don't know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.

In my opinion, basketball is more than numbers - it's about talent, a will to win, staying healthy and good coaching. To its credit, LRMC was not the only source that picked Kansas to win the 2008 national championship. What if one of your favorites has an off-shooting night? What do you do - pull a number off the chart and turn it around? Players in the tournament don't care about numbers . . . they ohly want to win.

To refresh your memory about the 2006 NCAA tournament: Duke beat Southern, GW, then lost to LSU in the Sweet 16. UNC beat Murray St and then lost to George Mason in the second round.

Please note that Duke and Carolina have NEVER played each other in the NCAA Tournament. Your writers may be confusing that game with an ACC Tournament game or regular season game.
