Double Life: What We Look Like When We Play the Nintendo Wii

A month ago, we wrote a post about a photo essay on the facial expressions of gamers at play. Now comes a group of Flickr users who have put together Wii Motion, a "photopool" of images of people playing with Nintendo's Wii. We have to agree with Joystiq's prolific Christopher Grant, who writes that "Nintendo should just gobble up the rights...slap some branding across the bottom, and run a nationwide ad campaign." At a time when Sony is taking some well-deserved lumps for an ill-advised viral marketing campaign, Nintendo could keep burnishing the Wii's credentials as The People's Console with a series of print ads derived from the DIY ingenuity of the Flickr users. Just make sure that Reggie gives you your 10 percent, Christopher.

Hat tip: Wonderland, Joystiq.
