If more games started at 30-40$, resale would be much less of an issue.

The debate surrounding the sale of used videogames is not about the gamer.

It is a dispute between retailers and publishers/developers.  The publisher pays for shelf space and for co-marketing and the retailer tries there absolute best to try to resell used games as opposed to new games where the publisher would make a profit.

The retailer stocks product, but the publisher considers the retailer a useless middleman.  The publisher does its best to cut out the middleman using digital distribution.

There is no trust in the relationship.

The blogger, Dubios Quality, is arrogant and self-centered enough to believe that the debate is about him.  It is not.
