Madden sacked on Wii?  Does any analyst stop and wonder why the diehard Madden players would want to play the game on the Wii when the Wii version is clearly an afterthought compared to the other versions?

Do the analysts ever stop and think that the 2 previous crappy versions of Madden have only persuaded potential buyers to ignore the latest Wii version?

I think the game would be successful on the Wii is they redesigned it from the ground up to be a different game - an arcadey simple to get into yet with depth football game.  The key is to get that combination just right.  It's got to be the Golden Tee of football games.

The game is also just too far away from being elegant.  It's a mishmash of features that have been cobbled together over the years.

And I sometimes wonder what if the manufacturers of Monopoly (the board game) charged you $15 for new dice every year so you could enjoy (play) the game each year?  Ok maybe not a great analogy, but I think I picked the right board game at least.
