I remember a time when he schooled Romero at the Doom Levels of his choice in front of an audience--at a game show. He and I (and a killer crew) did a little game--that some still love (AND I WANT TO REDO, Warner!) called Blood.

Ask him his game name from the timeframe?

Truly. Ask Jace what his game name was and why there was always fresh Milk in the fridge at 'lith for post-BloodBath MP games..

Actually, I'll at least share the gamename since it seems to be one of the incredible number of sight-gags we did in Blood. "Bunz." Hey. He chose it. I had nothing to do with that particularly Jason Hall-Like nickname.

Jason is genuinely one of the nicest folks in the games industry.

He also has silly taste in Chrome Motorcycles.

He should do a piece asking Trey and Matt (of SouthPark fame) how they nearly didn't complete their pilot due to a multiplayer done on the Build engine as well. Their producer had to cut the IPX-Lan cables to get it done at the last minute.

It seems more and more people that grew up immersed in the video game industry entering the field these days. It's much different then back in the 80's when there wasn't much of a mainstream publication industry per-say. I guess it shows us how much it has impacted our lives, we should thank our lucky stars Nintendo got involved when it did, when Colecovision and Atari killed the industry.

On a Sidenote,

@N'Gai.

I posted this on your older post, but it's been itching at my brain after I heard what you said on Gametrailers, well heres my question reposted if you could answer this it would be awesome:

"@N'Gai, as always enjoyed your recent Bonus Round for Metal Gear Sold 4. You bring alot of info to the table there.

One thing you said peaked my curiosity, you said from what you hear Konami will not be doing any TV spots for Metal Gear Solid 4 in the US??

Isn't this an absurdly stupid move on their part? Like you said Assassin's Creed a mediocre game did extremely well due to the great marketing, why in blazes did Kojima give during your morning meeting with him the reasoning behind this decision?

Seems a bit arrogant don't you agree relying heavily on franchise name recognition alone? This game does have a much broader appeal that could lure new players as well.

Just found this baffling. "
