And for your information, The Great Pumpkin <i/>does</i> exist. And we don't even have to call him to let him know he needs to come collect the candy. . . <i>all</> the candy--not just what the children are too picky to eat. He leaves some amazing gifts too.
Oh, and you're wrong on another point too. The only thing he lacks? Isn't a contradiction between "the human and the fantastical". . .
