I really love the wide angle shot of the kayak with the sun and the stadium in the background.  Not something we would normally see, but that makes me love it even more.

Mike, quite frankly I was not familiar with your work but I do know VIncent and Donald from interactions on Sportsshooter.  I've viewed the works of both of them from different sources in the past and after perusing through Vincent, Donald and your images, I thought by myself there is a reason why just these three photographers were picked by Newsweek because I can identify the different approaches to the imagery.  Your wider angle perspective, positioning and action are awesome.  I do like the tight shots as well but the wider angle shots. Thanks for sharing your vision and thougths.

GREAT shots of the kayaking, something I haven't seen covered by some of the other photographers yet.  Sorry you lost your prime spot on the floor but you still gained some great images of the woman.
