Your wife was right, I love the portraits you took.

But the first picture with the black background is very nice, one of the best photos I saw during this Olympics.

Great shots with the wet hair and again thanks for the insights into being a photographer at this huge stage. I love the shots from above too, they make a nice group study.

Vincent great, great shots along the olimpics games...congratulations!!...but i think that your last post in the blog is the best, the photo of Liang Huo is amazing....also the series of eleven photos of 10 meter diving competition is incredible.... i will miss your olimpic blog....

Hey thanks everyone - I'm sitting here at basketball waiting for the USA vs Spain game and then off to closing ceremonies - it's been a pleasure to do this and read your comments every day - I have read them every single day and I'm sorry I haven't had time to respond - I usually download the comments on my laptop before rushing off to my 5 minute breakfast and catch the bus with one minute to go - and read the comments there - obviously I don't have a web connection there and can't respond back - and by the time I'm back on the blog - this ground hog's cycle has started all over again... I will be continuing my own blog after this - but I don't feel it's appropriate to plug it here on Newsweek - you can easily find it on google by typing my name and google I'm sure... I look forward to continuing to blog about other events on my personal blog after the games - cheers and thanks!

I have admired throughout your blog postings how you so eloquently communicate the creative and logistical process of your photography. Though my professional photography occurs in practically a different universe (I'm so glad I don't have your job--it sounds so exhausting!), there is much overlap in our commitment to images and to the creative process. Your reach for excellence no matter the obstacle mirrors that of the athletes you photograph.

The one with the black background and water drops is perfect. It is more lively than the other ones. The other ones having blue background are solid as sculptures.
