I'm glad he's finally understanding the International bond marklet,

which I'm sure he's informing the Moscow youth

how the International stock and credit markets really work.

Hey Schlegel, how's the oil wealth working out for you?

(And hey the bond market wasn't to keen on

Playing Moscow off the US for internal domestic consumption

it's a very Western and old fashion Madison Avenue politikal sales job.

Get a new game Schlegel

your game is old,

purely sold for the consumption of politikal amateurs

and youths who can't see what makes this world really turns.

If younger people get involved in politics then they are forming opinions and

thinking of ways to improve the world around them.I personally hate the childishness

of politics that often effects ordinary people who aren't psychotically passionate about

whatever random political topic of the day.Often politics is used to bully people.I remember

quite a few times that people seemed to lock pick their way through political topics until they

could find something that you disagreed with in order to harass their victum and if you agreed with everything they would still find something or they would wait until you said your opinion and

then disagree with it even if it was something that they just said they where for.

Their economy is mostly dependent on oil and gas. Their industrial infrastructure is a mess. They still are ruled by a bunch of thugs that make most Mafioso blush. Government corruption is culturally imbedded and there is no chance of rooting it out in this millenium. They have tons of foreign reserves that decrease in value every day. If they had all the money, it wouldn't matter due to their lack of infrastructure and culture.

As a people, they really should be a world leader as their pragmatism, innate itelligence and reverence for education is as intense as any other country. They beat us into space, their phyicists are top level, the published technical superiority of their war planes is obvious and their national sport is chess. They're not that shabby in the Arts either.

None of this matters, of course, as progress requires critical testing of every endeavor. Being killed for exercising public criticism has a dampening effect. E.g. Bank examiners that are murdered for pointing out crooked pratices at the banks they are regulating and journalists that point out the harmful effects of corruption. (This would have happened here, without a healthy rule of law. Murder isn't required here as the U.S. bank examiners and financial regulaters are so corrupt, that violence is not necessary.) Unfortunately, Russia doesn't have the GOP-Bush leadership, a Limbaugh or O'Reilly to B.S. the population, so murder is the practical alternative to preserve this corruption.

Since Hitler's vision was to dominate Europe and Russia, it doesn't make much sense to draw a parallel with recent events in Russia.

This Russian thing is political business as usual. Distract the population from the real issues and you can remain in power indefinitely, regardless of the circumstances. History shows that most country's populations are collectively politically dumber than most rocks. It only takes guys or gals with the right charisma, the ability to appeal to the basest part of human thought and a platform to convince them that orange is blue and down is up.

If this sounds too extreme, please consider that the present world economic mess has been brought to you by Harvard Business School, Wharton school of Business, the Sorbonne and all the other best schools of business and finance worldwide. Their graduates are the business rulers that are playing on the beaches of Monaco and laughing like hell at the greatest mass financial coup in history that makes their life possible. Does anyone really think this was an accident?

The political genius is that the people that have lost the most are wringing their hands in fear instead of rolling out the guillotines and resurrecting Madame Defarge.

This Russian politician is only acting out of self preservation. The actual effect will still be nada.
