At home there's the contest between Tzipi Livni's Kadima party and Benjamin Netanyahu's hawkish Likud party in February. And many voters in Israel are also getting ready to mark their ballots

re: Israelis Vote for U.S. President

what is it with the Jewish Americans. Those living in Irael and saying they are American Jewe and the Jews living in America and saying they say they are American Jews. All of them vote in our presidetial elections and vote for the same candidate. Whoever states most strongly his or her intenton to support and join in any Israely war effort. There is something wrong about all this and I hesitate to say more at the risk of being named an Antisemite.

I want to say that I'm a fan of Tzipi Livni so far for standing up to her right-wing countrymen.

If she gets shot or killed the way Yitzhak Rabin did, I am going to become an *extremely* vocal advocate of ending our military alliance. I don't want to be friends with a country whose people strike down their own that way.

Here's to the hope of a moderate Israel.

Wright's hate filled propaganda for 20 years, how extensive were his relationships with people like Frank Marshall Davis & Rashid Khalidi...the list goes on. I agree that we need change, but this is definitely not the change we need. If I were an Israeli or an American Jew, I would surely be concerned.

He shares our values and our belief in the virtually unlimited potential for Americans and America to do good in the world. Obama’s vision for America is our vision as well.

The American Jewish community has always been civically engaged in improving the country and repairing the world. We have waited many years to be able to vote for a President who truly represents us. Barack Obama’s positions on social justice, civil rights, the environment, immigration, and helping the downtrodden truly exemplify Jewish values. His nuanced position on abortion parallels the traditional Jewish view. Throughout his career, he has been a strong supporter of Israel and has repeatedly and publicly spoken out against anti-semitism. Obama will be a great President for us and for all Americans!

We, the creators of Jews For Obama, are volunteers, neither affiliated with nor paid by the Obama campaign. Each of us has spent many hours examining Obama’s background, experience, qualifications, record, and policy proposals. We deeply believe that Barack Obama is the right leader for America.

ALLOW ME TO GET RIGHT TO THE POINT BECAUSE THERE SEEMS TO BE A SERIOUS MISUNDERSTANDING ABOUT THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION RELATIVE TO BARACK OBAMA. OBAMA CANNOT LOSE. SLICE IT ANYWAY YOU WISH,HE CANNOT LOSE. YOU AND YOUR ILK CAN ASSASSINATE HIM OR WHATEVER -- HE HAS ALREADY WON. AND I MEAN WON BIG TIME.

YOU SEE -- GETTING RID OF HIM WILL SIMPLY PROVE STILL FURTHER HOW FRIGHTEN YOU ARE OF YOUR MORBID INSECURITIES. THE WORLD IS FAST DISCOVERING HOW REALLY SCARED YOU ARE OF SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T LOOK LIKE YOU, WITH A DIFFERENT SOUNDING NAME AND MORE ACADEMICALLY ACCOMPLISHED THAN YOU WITH PROBABLY ALL OF YOUR ADVANTAGES. "IS HE ONE OF US?" "DOES HE SHARE OUR VALUES?" ETC. ON BOTH QUESTIONS: I SURELY HOPE HE'S NOT."IS HE ONE OF US?" YOU'VE GOTTA BE KIDDING ME. PLEASE. WHY WOULD HE WANT TO BE?

BY THE WAY: JOHN McCAIN FINISHED FIFTH FROM THE BOTTOM OF HIS CLASS OF NEARLY NINE HUNDRED MIDSHIPMEN AND WOMEN AT THE NAVAL ACADEMY. THAT IS -- AFTER BEING ADMITTED VIA AFFIRMATIVE ACTION. HIS NAVY OFFICER FATHER GOT HIM ADMITTED. OH YES, THROUGH THAT "OBSCENE DUMB TRACK" -- AFFIRMATIVE ACTION.

MOREOVER,SOME 59,000 SERVICEMEN AND WOMEN WERE KILLED IN VIETNAM. HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS EVADED CAPTURE IN ORDER TO DO THEIR JOB -- FIGHT. THEY ARE THE HEROES. IF THEY'RE NOT HEROES -- CLEARLY, JOHN McCAIN IS NOT.

WE BLACKS HAVE LEARNED MANY LESSONS FROM THIS CAMPAIGN, NOT THE LEAST OF WHICH IS -- THE CANDIDATES CREDENTIALS BAR HAS BEEN RAISED. A CANDIDATE COMES ASKING FOR VOTES FROM NOW ON -- SHE OR HE WILL DO WELL BY PROVING BEYOND DOUBT THAT HE OR SHE IS NOT AND NEVER HAS BEEN A RACIST TO INCLUDE -- EVEN BY ASSOCIATION. THIS ALSO INCLUDES BLACK POLITICAL CANDIDATES.

OH YES: McCAIN CRASHED THREE PLANES BEFORE BEING SHOT DOWN OVER NORTH VIETNAM. AND YOU HAVE THE AUDACITY TO QUESTION BARACK OBAMA'S CACHET. ENVY. EAT YOUR INEPT HEART OUT. ENVY.

AND REMEMBER: BARACK CANNOT LOSE.
