YUCK. I just came back from the show (Wilkes-Barre), and there is so much in this review I disagree with - maybe it's because they perform differently on different nights. But IMO Megan was terrible, unbelievable that we paid money to hear her. I liked her on the show, but her looks were part of her charm and now she has a horrid blonde afro that looks like a wig. Lil was blah, not actively bad. Matt had amazing energy, Anoop's voice was more beautiful and rich in person than on the show (tho I do not care for 'My Prerogative') and I thought Danny was not bad, though I went to the rest room during 'Maria Maria.' Although I voted for Kris, I have to say that Adam put on a great show. THe backgrounds were amazing - swirling stars and planets. I like that Kris is a musician - it is great to see so many of the Idols up there with instruments. Allison was fantastic, Scott & Matt dueling pianos was great, the production numbers were actually enjoyable. I came away disappointed that Kris didn't put more effort into making his part more of a show.
I'm going to try and be as nice as possible...can't guarantee anything though.
First of all, I think this review is beyond pathetic. You should at least title it, I'M BIASED BECAUSE I'M AN ADAM FAN SO NO ONE ELSE COUNTS. Don't get me wrong, I think Adam totally rocks the stage and has an amazing voice. There is no doubt about it.
Do you want to take your online blogging to the National Enquirer or something? This was such a classless review. I'm a die hard anoop fan and I completely understand that his style is not everyone's cup of tea. We ALL have our opinions and taste in music. But if you can't for at least one minute open up your closed minded self then you're missing out in the beauty in ALL these idol contestants. NO ONE this season can touch on anoop's smooth R&B vocals, no one can touch on matt's riffs, no one can do the quirky songs that megan does, no one NOT EVEN ADAM can touch on kris' artistic ability and his genuine connection to the audience with his simple vocals that needs no "drama" added to it.
I can't stand these online bloggers who think they can talk crap about people. They must be comfortable in their "cloak of anonymity" just because you're behind the computer doesn't give you the right to say the unecessary things you just said about these kids who give their ALL on that stage every night they're out there! shame on you.
Stage presence he exudes confidence, great voice range, style, good looks, to name a few is about Adam Lambert! This young man will go a long way in his chosen career he worked so hard for that he deserves every penny we spend on his CD's, concerts, paraphernalias, etc.. Adam Lambert is simply beyond words to describe, what he can contribute to musical entertainment and the industry itself. More power to you Adam, and don't change a bit, just be yourself and your (we) fans will continue to support you and enjoy your music.
