I have no probI have no problem with this interview and I’m glad that Elvis, or what ever his real name is (Declan McManus or something?), is alive and well. I remember “My Aim Is True” from many years ago, so that’s something since then I’ve never heard him on the radio since and he could have been dead for all I knew. Roy Orbison? Burt Bacharach? Man, he’s made a fancy living at this? Incredible.

Elvis Costello is one of the musical greats of modern times. The fact that he was banned from Saturday Night Live for playing "Radio Radio" against management's wishes showed his integrity as an artist in the truest rock and roll sense. To quote the song; "The radio is in the hands of such a lot of fools trying to anesthetize the way that you feel" is as true today as in 1979, only more so. He has produced more great music on one album than most of todays artists produce in a career. I think I'll play "Imperial Bedroom" right now.

I'm a huge fan of Elvis Costello! Great article. I am heading to Southern California (Rancho Mirage) - to see him at The Show at Agua Caliente Casino on July 10th. My buddy is buying tickets on Tuesday when they go on sale. It's a small venue (seats about 2,000 or so) and I hear there is no "bad seat" in the house. Don't much care what the tickets go for because California, here I come. Rock the house Elvis!
