Kenya is the among most Christian countries in Africa.

He wasn't born there.  He was born in America where one can choose one's own religious path.  

Obama is clearly more affected by Jesus, the Hebrew prophets, and the tenets of Christianity than he is by any other world religious tradition.

Frankly, I have little concern about his personal faith as a matter of competency.  I am an American.

Our most recent past President befouled whatever "religion" he represented.

This criminal was President for eight long years.  I put up with him and his incompetent thugs because I am an American.

The President is not freeing any killers.  He is closing the torture chambers.  He does this because he is affected by the tenets of his faith (Christianity) and because... he is an American.

@ Concerned Canadian;  Something about his religion is also troublesome. He was in a muslim school in Indonesia, but he said " I didn't practice it". His birth place is also questionable, I say he was born in Hawaii, lots of people say it's Kenya. Something is wrong about him. I leave it to media to take care of him. He makes one mistake, they going to be all over him, like a hyena on a wilderbeast.

He fooled the crowd again. If I want a preacher to lead this country I would have voted for Rev. Obama. I didn't voted for him. Listen to Rev. Joseph Lowery, and his choice of colors, I though he was in the painting business.  They made a race issue in this inauguration, and Obama is not even black.  His father is from Kenya, he is black, his mother from somewhere but she is white, he was born in Hawaii. From his father side he is an African-American, but Obama is not black. You not neccessarly black if you are an African-American. Why did he chooses to be black, when his father left him in the early age only to have his mother, and grandmother to take care of him and they both white?. Maybe he had no saying over it, but now as President we need to know the truth about him. Who is Obama?. His honeymoon is over. The truth need to come out.

President Obama takes on the leadership of USA stained with the blood of over one million innocent Iraqis, Palestinians and Afghanis and when America's image abroad is severely dented and damaged; it is hated more then ever in the world except Zionist Israel; its confidence is shattered, its economy is ruined and crippled, its self-belief broken to pieces and its coffers emptied by the inept handling of economy by pea brain ex President G W Bush.

The world view of USA is that it is bully, belligerent, warmonger, evil and 'The Satan', but also as a rogue, pariah state imposing by forces its policies on others on point blank range of cruise missiles, smart bombs and megaton bombs. Mr Obama has inherited the worst that could be expected from Mr G W Bush and if he is not pragmatic or empirical, USA is totally doomed into oblivion. President Barack Obama has to change all that was evil and bad for the last eight years in the American history and build a new America that regains its benign benevolence that carried it image.

President Obama has promised many things during the election campaign and in his inaugural address: revitalize science so badly damaged by the Bush fundamentalism, extended the hand of friendship to those who will unclench their fist (China, Burma, Israel, Zimbabwe, North Korea, and Russia perhaps). He has promised root out the weeds of US foreign policy and improve universal healthcare. Barack Obama, the new 'messiah' has to deliver, live up to those promises, remake and rebuild to rebuild his depleted country as well as bring peace and harmony in the entire world that became alien in the last years of blood shedding ex president G W Bush's administration.

America needs to change the attitude. The whole consept of being the "world leader" is why the world hates America. The world never voted for America and the world is fed up by America trying to replace the UN. As a European i can not wait for US to default and the dollar collapse. Maybe then will America stop placing missiles here, stop sabotage Eu-Russian relations and in general stop bombong random countries, aparently the "leader" does not need to follow the rules like the rest

Um, how are we ready to lead again? Its been less than 24 hrs since you've been in office, the unemployment rate is still the same as yesterday, the national deficit is still in the billions and we still have troops across seas. Come back to reality.

yes, thats the dream for the rest of the wold. We would love for America to lead us. The best thing is for America to go bancrupt and the world can try international law again instead of the America global dicatorship
