for head of the agency...forget anyone who served in Congress, especially democrats. they despise the agency and would assist in gutting it a former military officer with field experience would be ideal.

But, I hear they need some help in Alaska. You should move there and go to work for Palin. So, the chances of that are what? Less than zero? LOL at you!!!!

Oh, and in case you were sleeping that day THE ELECTION IS OVER. Obama won. A true American and patriot (like you seem to pretend you are) would support our democratic process and SUPPORT our new president.

Jones in the Intel role is another of a few steps providing more optimism for a successful Obama presidency fueled by choosing the best people with a dose of non-partisanship. If Jones would take the job, I believe it is a reasoned and even brilliant choice.

I may actually begin to believe. In my book, Obama has my support even though I don't agree with him on everything. But his short lists for high positions in his admin demonstrate he is reasoned and has some common sense. We'll see if any of the shrill cries of socialist ring true, but he would have a hard time advancing that agenda with people like Jones on the team.

We need success in solving the nation's problems.....I don't care who does it, let's just get it done.

The Administration’s ultimate goal is to take the agenda to the entire region.Bilateral free trade and investment agreements are not only economic instruments. They are tools to advance corporate and state geopolitical interests.

Pro-free market journalist Thomas Friedman wrote: “The hidden hand of the market will never work without a hidden fist - McDonald’s cannot flourish without McDonnell Douglas, the builder of the F-15. And the hidden fist that keeps the world safe for Silicon Valley’s technologies is called the United States Army, AirForce and Marine Corps.”

Globalization and war are two sides of the same coin. Throughout many parts of the world, including Central America, there has been little (hidden) about the links between corporate interests, globalization, and militarization. Under the guise of the war on drugs, the war on terror,

US has "rewarded" its allies in the "war on terror" (e.g. Australia ,Thailand and many his allies around the world) by negotiating FTAs ,NFTA, many concession with them. It's huge price to pay for "dumb war neo-policy " been adopted that doesn't work not with present era.Dont blame others of unfair trade and treaments when you're the one that cause this tangle situations.Just like putting around a long rope that can suffocate yourself.Worst of all its capable to Bankrupt the Country.

You missed the point about the cause of wars. Since Isabella and Ferdinand sat on the Spanish throne first promising both Muslim and Jews that they could practice their religion only to revoke that promise and expel them from Spain if they did not convert to Christianity. The Catholic monarchs then turned to the English and Dutch (Protestants)and tried to eradicate their religion. War, War, War! That's why this country was founded on the principle of separation of Church and state. Religion has no place in government. Those that rule try to use government to force their will on others who do not share those beliefs. God bless America, but keep God out of government.
