I cannot find a direct email for Pat. I also registered and logged in but it will not take my comment. Here it what I tried to post:

There is some support available for parents struggling with trauma and attachment-affected children. As one of those parents, I was appalled at the lack of support, services and understanding that I encountered when my internationally adopted children were imploding my family. I abandoned a career in veterinary medicine and started a non-profit organization that supports families like mine. For those of you still struggling, please visit the Attachment & Trauma Network at www.radzebra.org or my blog at www.attachment-disorder.adoptionblogs.com. We can help you find mental health professionals who understand, and a community of other parents who won’t judge and condemn you. If we support you, we support your children, and that is a win/win. Everyone loses when a mom snaps and injures her child.

I would love to see Pat do a follow up story. Please keep me in mind if you need more input or resources. I have connections with families all across the country who are leading parallel lives.
