e, Unauthorized association with a suspected or known collaborator or employee of a foreign intelligence service;

f. Conduct which may make the individual vulnerable to coercion, exploitation, or pressure by a foreign government;

g. Indications that representatives or nationals from a foreign country are acting to increase the vulnerability of the individual to possible future exploitation, coercion or pressure;

h. A substantial financial interest in a country, or in any foreign owned or operated business that could make the individual vulnerable to foreign influence.

Amazing to me how the general population just does not seem to care anymore about this country. They would rather be spoon fed information from the media and listen to well given speeches that promise better times if you just trust me. This is especially true now b/c dealing with the truth in difficult times is scary and the general population would rather just close their eyes and pretent it isn't happening.

McCain has never run or managed a business, a city, a state or even his own home. He has no sense of what it would take to run an organization as his chaotic and incoherent campaign amply demonstrates. He married into money, never earned it, and has difficulty remembering how many houses he owns. McCain's military record shows no qualities of Presidential leadership. McCain is a brave man who served with honor in the military, but that in and of itself is NOT a qualification to be president. McCain repeats lies as truth and then during interviews acknowledges the lie and then repeats the lie in his stump speeches. McCain showed extremely poor judgment in his VP pick. John McCain supports the Earned Income Tax Credit and the $700+ billion bailout of the richest Americans so his cries of Socialism are utter nonsense. And finally, at age 72, McCain is too old for the job and his hand picked successor is a total disaster.

So, it's time for some home-stretch spin... Sarah takes all the money she can from federal tax earmarks, hires a lobbyist to get more, and repeatedly tells the electorate that she told Congress "no thanks" on The Bridge To Nowhere, but in fact she took the federal tax funds that were earmarked for it.

So, she wasn't distributing federal tax funds, 'cause she put THOSE FEDERAL TAX FUNDS into a DIFFERENT POCKET from the pocket that held the funds she distributed to Alaskans.

I bet those federal tax funds she didn't REDISTRIBUTE are actually different dollars than the ones I paid for federal taxes.

Part of the money she distributed came from her raising taxes on the oil companies. The oil companies had to recoup those higher taxes through higher gas prices. I'm also certain that none of the dollars I spent for higher gas prices, were included in the dollars Sarah redistridistruted to Alaskans.

And since she gave those dollars to all Alaskans, it's not true that she took money from some and gave it to others.

I see. That's really, really, really different, now that I understand. According to "Nowforthetruth" that's not REDISTRIBUTION, that's capitalism.

When McCain voted against the Bush tax cut for the rich, McC called that tax break (taking to tax rate for the rich way below the Reagan level) for the rich "irresponsible" because "it benefits only the rich". But McCain does want to give billions of additional tax cuts to the oil compainies. After all, they only just posted new quarterly profits of $14 billion, and all time world record, breaking the then new all time record of $12 billion for the preceding quarter.

I see... I'm now ready for some home-stretch spin....

Fact: $12,450 x 20 = $249,000.

Fact: Obama will raise taxes on corporations and small businesses with more than $250,000 in profit ($150,000 on sole-proprietorships where the owner is unmarried and/or has no dependents).

Fact: Approximately 65 - 70% OF ALL AMERICANS work for a company that will be subjected to Obama's tax increases (when the spread of corporate profits per employee is accounted for).

Please note also that these are 2005 numbers, since 2006 and later numbers are not available for firm size yet. Regardless, based on productivity numbers, the average profit(tax basis)-per-employee in 2008 will be HIGHER than $12,450.

Do any of you honestly believe that the result of your employer having its taxes raised is a wage INCREASE, or a benefits INCREASE, or enhances your ability to find a job if you're unemployed?

Do any of you honestly believe that INCREASING taxes on American corporations makes them LESS likely to move jobs overseas?

Do any of you honestly believe that INCREASING taxes on American corporations makes our exports CHEAPER?

And that long-scoffed at "tax loophole" for companies that ship jobs overseas (namely, the ability for the company to pay taxes on profits earned abroad at the host country's rate)? That tax "loophole" was intentionally written into the law when corporate income taxes were first enacted in 1909.

The reason?

Allowing companies to base a PORTION of their business overseas in order to be able to compete against foreign companies minimizes the risk that the entire company will ship itself overseas. This is so critical that it EVEN SURVIVED THE EXTREME PROTECTIONISM OF HOOVER DURING THE GREAT DEPRESSION.

Yet Obama wants to eliminate this provision.

Let me ask all of you Obama supporters an honest question:

How is it possible that RAISING taxes on American corporations will make us MORE competitive or in any way provide an incentive for keeping jobs in the US?

McCain's approach: Minimize the incentive to ship jobs overseas by cutting the top marginal tax rate to 25%. This makes it CHEAPER to operate in America. This LESSENS the incentive to move overseas.

Please stop drinking the Kool-Aid.

Relatively balanced piece by Mr. Fineman. Something's wrong. Newsweek must be having an attack of conscience, or their accountants briefed them on the financial impact of declining circulation.

Newsweek tells Lies. It is the Tank Media that lied Obama into this election and may lie Obama into the Presidency. It has sold it journalistic soul to a liberal devil, and has lost it's right of respect to be considered a legitimate news source.

Boycott Newsweek. Drive it out of business. Make room for news sources that will not lie, slant, or fabricate news events.

corn is just another invented issue.

All the group does is register new voters . They pay people 8 bucks a hour a help people

fill out registration forms and then turn them in. By law they are required to turn in ballots people fill out that dont seem credible. But they seperate them from the normal ballots and inform election officials when they turn them in. As a example If somone fills out a ballot that says donald duck they still have to turn that ballot in , but since there really is no donald duck and no one to show up and vote with a id that matches that registration on election day . It will have zero effect on anything and all this is is a waste time

Also all ballots acorn marks as fishy are also investigated and checked against state records to make sure they are real people if not they are thrown out.

Its has no effect because no one can vote without proper ID

So unless the gop thinks there are imaginary people to go along with with throw away ballots then

lets move on to something that matters like the fact we are going in to the next great depression,

and that mccain says he doesnt understand the economy

How about we talk about the war, the national debt <11 trillion>, The housing market, the job market,health care,global warming.

Are things so great we need to invent issues like acorn ?

or is it the gop has no answers to the mess they have created in the last 8 years?

Let talk about things that will improve our lifes and not something no one cares about.

I follow an economist named Bob Proctor. He has called the top and bottom of every market crash since the 70s correctly.

He perfectly predicted the current meltdown and the picture he paints about what will happen next

is terrifying.He thinks it will be worse then the great depression.

The banks in the U.S. are going under one after the other. Countrywide ,Bear Stearns, Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch , Fanny and Freddy Mae ,AIG

The government took them over because they are bankrupt. Even with the goverment nationalizing hundreds of billions of dollars in debt the stock market is crashing

the credit markets are frozen and all of us may suffer beyond anything seen in generations

McCain just like Bush " doesn't understand the economy".

That not just my opinion its his own words. Not only does he not understand how to fix it but he does not understand how its been broken.

It is no surprise that he doesn't. The people that make up these securities use quantum mathematical models very few people understand.

Bush and McCain both can take the credit for this mess since they helped deregulate the laws that were protecting us.

Bush's economic advisor Phil Graham wrote the deregulation bill that allowed banks to take huge risks with all of our future.

Now, Phil Graham is the head of McCain's economic policy.He is also McCain's choice for the next secretary of the treasury.

No one in this country can afford for that to happen. The last time Bush met with his economic advisors was in March. He was the last to know somthing was wrong. Phil Graham had the guts to say that we are in a mental recession after he helped create the worst economy meltdown in our lifetime. Try taking a look at the ACTUAL tax plans from an independent source, try the tax policy center or Brookings Institute - Obama's plan does raise taxes on the $250k + crowd, and lowers taxes on the sub-$250k'ers. Joe the Plumber would get a tax break with Obama - It seems McCain hasn't read his opponents tax plan before all of his heightened awareness - It fits with his personality though - shoot from the hip, erratic, knee-jerker.

If you look at McCain's Plan for taxes - you will quickly see it is simply out-of-touch with the needs of the future - How do you think all of this spending we're doing is going to be paid for? It's called taxes and without enough taxes, you put the county in a worse position by borrowing from Communist countries, with the expectation that you'll always be in-need by those financiers. That's blind thinking. (Bush: Huge deficits, McCain, even bigger deficits - he's out of touch), but hey, the rich will get a little richer....that's great if you're rich.

Like McCain, you just don't get it.

Trickle down economics failed. Period. The big tax breaks given to corps to re-tool factories and thus keep us, as a country, competitive was a huge giveaway. Corps did not take the money and reinvest in their US operations. The invested in overseas efforts, closed down factories, and moved jobs overseas.

Trickle down economics amounted to Corp welfare. It lowered their taxes which put more of the tax burden on the middle class only to set up a situation that cost that middle class a lot of their own jobs.

Why give Corporations huge tax breaks if it DOES NOT create more jobs or enrich our economy, but instead only costs people jobs. Tax breaks should be given where companies invest in our US-based economy and create US jobs. Not take them away.

You need a new posting name, how about CLUELESS AS MCCAIN.

The McCainites bend the meaning of Obama's phrases out of context, trying to twist his words to fit their distorted view. They are pathetic. How often do they mention McCain's views or proposals?? Well this article doesn't say too much. The article could have said more. The election is not just a presidential election as many know. This is an election for House and Senate seats all over the country. Not only is McCain in a horrific fall back and defend stance, he and his congressional colleagues are together fighting for their positions. It is clear the Republicans are losing House and Senate seats all across the country and in areas they thought were safe. The Obama campaign is helping to fight for the presidency but is also on a strong offense for picking up many House and Senate seats. That Senator Obama is in the deep red states is a sign of helping his fellow congressional democrats. Many of these congressional Democrats have had a bump up from Obama and are strong in their races. Even some Republicans are running by saying they are "Obama" Republicans. This is pretty amusing and interesting. It is real.

So Senator Obama by going to Arizona will certainly pick up more votes and get more voters to turn out for Democrats. Going back to Iowa is a special place for Senator Obama. The Iowa electorate launched Senator Obama in a profound way for the presidency. He kicked of his real first win hear and the Iowan people understand their own unique and timely role. Iowans are proud of their role to make Senator Obama president. Senator Obama owes them a last visit. A good man for the great state of Iowa. I love it!

It seems to me that the trajectory of this race gives some credibility to a possible Obama win in Arizona, North Dakota, or Georgia, particularly if turnout is higher than in the past among young voters and minority voters (not only African American but also Hispanic).

Recent endorsements reinforce this expectation. Support for Obama among Democrats is not surprising, but a striking development recently has been Barack Obama's endorsement by prominent Republicans. The most notable was Colin Powell, but others include former Republican Governors, as well as Charles Fried, who was Ronald Reagan's Solicitor General. Despite some policy differences with Obama, they have seen him as more stable, better informed, better qualified, and less impulsive on critical issues, including the nation's economic crisis.

Possibly more important, as the election nears, some conservatives have grown terrified at the thought that Sarah Palin might become president in a complicated and dangerous world where her incompetence would put the nation at unprecedented risk. Even with the hope that a Palin presidency would never occur, that same alarm has impelled them to lose faith in the judgment of Senator McCain, based on his selection of an unqualified candidate for the second place on the ticket. It would be a mistake to confuse their preference for Obama with a permanent shift in political allegiance. At this point, their overriding concern appears to be the nation’s safety, but their support for Obama in this election may not be a good predictor of how they will vote in the future.

Obama is giving up on Florida. Up until a few days ago we were inundated with nonstop obama radio and tv ads and robocalls, even ads on Limbaugh, haha. No More. The Obama ads are all but gone. Obama hasnt been back and he sent in Gore who only drew 200 people in Broward County, a dem stronghold. I hear Obama is headed back to defend Iowa too, where he supposedly was a shoe in. Times they are a changing.

I've gone to Obama's and McCain's website to simply check out their health plans. McCain gives a family a $5000 deducation. Yeah, your health benefits are included as income (hence the charge by obama that McCain will tax your health benefits), but the deduction is waaaay larger than the additional tax. A family would net thousands of dollars in aditional tax deductions. Wow. Obama's website has two pdf files of his plan to download. I looked for a similarly clear dollar amount of savings. After reading 12 pages showing Obama's understand of the problem the only mention of savings for a family is a number that a family MIGHT save UP TO if an Obama administration is able to accomplish a HUGE list of things -- go and read it at his website. REALLY VAGUE. His number is $2500 ... MAYBE. Clearly, McCain has a better plan for everyone. If you don't have insurance, well let's see what you can do with a $5000 tax deduction's savings. $5000 grand right off the top line just like that! Obama's team is smart for sure... but it doesn't translate into good policy.

Anita Moncrief, a former Washington staffer for Project Vote, which she described as a sister organization of...ACORN, said her supervisor told her the list of campaign contributors came from the Obama campaign." The Philadelphia Inquirer adds Moncrief "gave a scathing, though at times vague, assessment of ACORN and its efforts to go into battleground states and help mostly minorities and the poor register to vote for the first time. The lack of discussion of the electoral college by the Republican campaign strategists is significant. They are just trying now to get turnout to tamp down the popular vote. Thank God, Obama has about 7 ways to Sunday to win - without having to win OH, FL and PA; although it looks like he will win all 3 - it is no longer necessary. The 50 state Dean strategy was great because so many more states are now in play. It's good that so many more people in lots of other states realize more profoundly the importance of their vote.

McCain's campaign manager, Rick Davis, received up to $35K/mo. from Fannie and Freddie from 2000 to present, to lobby Rs,only, against regulation. Freddie has paid Rick Davis while he has been McC's campaing manager. Freddie donated $250k to the R convention.

A vote for obama is a vote to INCREASE TAXES and EXPAND WELFARE. First he claimed he would "cut" taxes on families with less than $250,000 in income, the he said $200,000, then Biden sai $150,000, and now his surrogate Gov Richardson says its really going to have to be $120,000. How low will it go? Well Obama a year ago voted to increase taxes on everyone earning over $42,000.

Even if you are one of the lucky ones who GET these welfare payments, each additional dollar you make will be taxed at a far higher rate than today. Under the Obama plan, the marginal rate of tax exceeds 45 pc at incomes of 30,000 - 50,000 and approaches 60 pc at incomes of 105,000 - 125,000 . At these rates, what incentive is there for people to work hard and earn even one more dollar? Overtime anyone? Not if the government takes half or more.

And what about those who dont have minor dependants, kids in daycare, kids in college or a mortgage. What about renters? SENIORS? empty nesters? young singles? married couples without kids? gays? ALL SCREWED. WISE UP, READ UP. Don’t vote for this TAX-LOVING, proponent of the WELFARE STATE. He's an income re-distributing MARXIST.

Obama's ill-conceived programs will require him to tax, and his health care plan alone is a substantial hidden tax on all business, large an small. In reality, it does not really matter who he taxes, those taxes are going to be passed through the economy. He has to tax, because it is they only way he can pay for his massive social engineering experiments. Any first year economics student knows that taxation is a tool used to contract an economy experiencing inflation, because it reduces demand by reducing the amount of money individuals and businesses have to spend. It is contractionary, which is exactly what you do not want to do when the problem is that the economy is contracting already into recession. Like Hoover and FDR, Obama's plans will only make it worse for longer.

Sarah takes all the money she can from federal tax earmarks, hires a lobbyist to get more, and repeatedly tells the electorate that she told Congress "no thanks" on The Bridge To Nowhere, but in fact she took the federal tax funds that were earmarked for it.

She wasn't distributing federal tax funds, 'cause she put THOSE FEDERAL TAX FUNDS into a DIFFERENT POCKET from the pocket from the funds she distributed to Alaskans.

I bet those federal tax funds she didn't REDISTRIBUTE are actually different dollars than the ones I paid for federal taxes.

A lot of the money she distributed came from her raising taxes on the oil companies. The oil companies had to recoup those higher taxes through higher gas prices. I'm also certain that none of the dollars I spent for higher gas prices, were included in the dollars Sarah redistridistruted to Alaskans.

And since she gave those dollars to all Alaskans, it's not true that she took money from some and gave it to others.

I see. That's really, really, really different, now that I understand. According to "Nowforthetruth" that's not REDISTRIBUTION, that's capitalism.

They have sent me messages on my cell phone which I thought was still a refuge from telemarketing. They have come to my door and they have come back to make sure I was here.Their campaign for Obama has mastered the internet world we live in. They have not forgotten the TV world many older voters live in and their mixture of negative and positive ads works better than the all negative all the time ads of McCain. On ability to run a campaign, Obama wins . His unwhite status maybe loses this election, but the way is paved for the next one.

Obama is where he is today in the polls because the mainstream news media has lost its' integrity in serving the American people. It has been documented by Pew Research Center's Project for Excellence in Journalism and Center for Media and Public Affairs that the mainstream news media are primarily Obama advocates instead of objective journalists. They have lost their duty to journalism and embraced their liberal advocacy. Americans will abandon these so-called news organizations when they realize they are propaganda machines. The New York Times has been reduced to junk stock and the rest will follow suit.

Quite frankly, it's amazing that Barack Obama got the Democratic nomination being as far-left and inexperienced as he is. The main stream media has decided to cheerlead for Barack Obama. Instead of providing critical examination and informing the public of the true identity and character of Obama, they have whitewashed any negative stories only until the facts are too overpowering to cover it up any further. A good example of this was Reverend Wright. Another example is his friendship with Ayers, the unrepentant terrorist and self-described "anarchist" and "marxist" (as recently as 2002). Ayers hosted a political kick-off party in Ayers' own home for Barack Obama for the obvious reasons of common political beliefs and friendship. Imagine if John McCain kicked off his political career in the home of an abortion clinic bomber. Do you think the same media would be ignoring or whitewashing that relationship? There would be news specials informing the public how bad the McCain associate is and investigating their relationship and common beliefs.

There are many reasons as to why McCain should be far ahead of Obama in the polls IF the mainstream news media was doing its' job.

1) Unlike his campaigning as a fiscal conservative, Obama was the No.1 (rated by the National Journal) tax and spend, far-left, liberal in the Senate for 2007. The real Obama is bad for the economy.

2) Obama is the most inexperienced individual to run for President with only a few months of Senate experience before deciding to run for the leader of the free world. Can you say EGOMANIAC?

3) Obama has friendships with radical left individuals like Ayers, Wright, and Pfleger, which explains his radical left political positions such as wealth redistribution. He also seems to be drawn to anti-Semites such as Louis Farrahkan (Obama attended the Million Man March) and, his good friend, Rashid Khalidi. THIS ALSO SHOWS REPEATED BAD JUDGMENT. WHO WILL HAVE ACCESS TO THE OVAL OFFICE?

4) Obama voted for allowing infanticide if performed in conjuction with a botched abortion. This illustrates quite clearly that Obama is a far-left nut! There is no rational justification for his votes.

5) Obama received records amount of money from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac ($40K per year). How can you count on Obama to clean up the Fannie/Freddie mess when his friends like Franklin Raines and Jim Johnson, former CEOs and Obama advisors, got rich on the taxpayers back.

6) His one monumental foreign policy decision he had to make was wrong: the decision for the surge. OBAMA WANTED TO RETREAT-IN-DEFEAT WHEN THINGS WEREN'T GOING WELL IN IRAQ. This was very bad judgment.

I could go on and on but there are plenty of reasons why McCain should defeat Obama IF the mainstream media was not so corrupt.

This is my view...yes the Economy sucks right now..and things weren't handled well building up to this point...but...I believe that a lot has to do with the WAR that we SHOULD HAVE PREVENTED and that responsibilty fell on Clinton..or better yet where CLINTON FAILED US. Bush has been called a warmonger and numerous other names, but atleast since he has been President we haven't been attacked on US soil. Yes we have lost numerous people over in Iraq and Afghanistan (and every one is heartbreaking), and I haven't always argreed with how Bush has handled it, but HE ATLEAST DID SOMETHING. Clinton did do NOTHING!!!...the barracks, the embassies, the first WTC, the USS Cole....all while DOWNSIZING OUR MILITARY. So 9-11 was like the massive carwreck that jammed everything up...and here we are years later still trying to clean up the mess, with all the little wrecks that followed. And I hate to say this but I fear it might be true. Economic failure was Osama bin Ladens goal...what we have to ask ourselves is... it might have taken a few years...but did he in the long run...Succeed? Pulling our guys home and doing nothing won't fix it. Sometimes you have to stand and fight. Osama and his kind aren't going to go away and leave us alone.

You have to look at the whole picture and how everything is connected. The Economy doesn't stand as a problem all by itself. Yes, it is connected with the war...we all have heard how much is being spent over there. And yes that number stinks and it should probably be handled a little differently and wouldn't it be nice to use all that money at home.

So the LAST THING I WANT is ANOTHER PRESIDENT THAT WILL DO NOTHING. He talks good, the world seems to like him...but he feels like another Clinton to me. Say the things that are going to make people FEEL better, not do anything that will upset the other countries...a people pleaser. Especially as President I believe you have to be willing to make the hard (and unpopular decisions), I don't think Obama is up for it. You can't live life walking that PC line...and I don't want a President that sits on the fence.

And if you look close you will see a reoccurring pattern of WHO..carried out these attacks and CLINTONS ADMINISTRATION DID NOTHING. If he had done something in his 8 years, we shouldn’t be here today.

I started out this election process (over a year ago) really liking alot of the things I heard about Obama and a lot of what I saw. But it has been him and only him and his actions that turned me away (not his color, since EVERYONE WANTS TO TALK ABOUT IT). Three things really did it for me.

1. Him going overseas with all his rallies over there, talking to them. Absolutely turned me off. I could understand going and meeting the other politicians, but the huge rallies he held....made me feel like he was going more for a WORLD LEADER position rather than running for the American Presidency.

2. REMOVING THE AMERICAN FLAG (and I'm not talking about not just not wearing a pin)...HE DOESN'T NEED A SYMBOL. IF HE IS RUNNING TO BE MY PRESIDENT THEN THE AMERICAN FLAG IS HIS SYMBOL. There are people out there who seems to think that the American Flag represent all kinds of bad things and ill feelings, if that is how they feel then they can leave. The American Flag represents alot, and some of our history isn't great, but if you don't feel that you still live in the best country with all our freedoms (aleast while we still have them) and that you aren't proud of our flag....THEN GET THE HECK OUT AND LEAVE. And if you are running to be my COMMANDER IN CHIEF, then you better damn well, respect and have no problems with displaying it WITH PRIDE.

3. And this isn't necessarily him personally, but the whole thing. I am sick and tired of having the race card shoved down my throat....and not sure how I will stomach 4 years, if that is what it comes down to.

I'm tired that I keep getting told that somehow Reverend Wrights, Bill Ayers, etc... are somehow acceptable. That I am suppose to accept that Rev. Wrights hateful, racist and mean words and attitude are okay and understandable, that I have to understand where he is coming from....WRONG...AIN'T BUYING INTO IT. Mean and hateful is just plain mean and hateful and it is never acceptable from ANYONE FOR ANY REASON.

Bill Ayers again, hateful and yes, by our definition now a terrorist. One that still doesn't feel bad for what he did and wished he'd done more. Somehow I'm suppose to ignore these facts and that Obama has had numerouse questionable "friendships, working partners" with more than just 1 or 2, not sure what to call them. Where Obama lost me was trying to claim IGNORANCE of their beliefs and thoughts...especially after 20 years...again..NOT BUYING IT.

These are a few of the reasons why I have already voted for McCain/Palin….I still think McCain could of picked a better choice..but…

I'll take the Veteren POW and a hockey mom over 2 MORE LAWYERS running this government...Thank you.

Rice did NOTHING as the National Security chief, she did not contact the CIA, FBI, or even Madam Cleo. Naturally with all of this evidence, it HAS to be the fault of Clinton.

Bush is the first, and, so far, the only president to both lower taxes and fight a war. Wars are inherently expensive, to put both wars on a charge card is both incredibly naieve and assinine. They will get you higher wages, better health care, retirement, and a safer work place. this is done by taxing the rich, who already have high wages, great health care, don't worry about retirement, and haven't worked in years. They beleive the rich should have to pay for all the under classes needs, for using them to get rich. Taxes are a legal way to do this. The problem with this way of thinking is this, who owns the company that you work for? Is he rich? Guess who's going to get taxed the most. Who is going to pay for his taxes? You are, either by not getting your raise or having to take a pay cut, or loosing your job.

Rich people creat jobs every time they build something, or start a new company. If they are going to be taxed to the hilt, they will just leave thier money where it is and try to save as much as they can. The Republicans give tax breaks to these rich, money hungry, capitalist pigs. Why? They tell the rich man, "We'll give you a tax break, if you build a new factory. You can enjoy the tax break for 5 years, plus all the profit." The rich man builds the factory and employes hundreds of people for years to come. It's great to have the higher pay, health care and safe work place that the Democrats want us to have, but if I don't have a job, it don't mean much. If Obama was a Republican, I'd vote for him, I need a job and am smart enough to know that the goverment can't empoly us all

Yes Halloween is over, but there is still something very ver scary about Osama and Michelle. They have some deep secrets they just can't wait to get to the WH, and all Americans will suffer with their left wing race and ideology. They will take this country back 15 years, we can't afford that. How many associations with radicals or criminals does one need to have to be denied the Presidency, because you know he is already there. Just listen when he speaks it's as if we are going into a "rap" type song, this is not Harlem, we need a real president.

Your comments is the typical thought process of most Democrates. Let me point out a few things for you. First of all Obamas tax plan will not reduce the taxes for 95% of Americans being that only 55% of those folks pay taxes. The other tax cuts for the lower 40% will be in social security and medicare. That means those folks will not have any social security to fall back on when they turn of age to retire. And reducing any medicare or social security payments will create even more problems for the problamatic medicare & social security system in place now. So if you want to punish the old folks and even yourself in the future here then go right ahead with that thinking. Where folks are coming up with the socialism tag is when you take someones money and give it to someone who has not earned it. It becomes socialism. Maybe not in the true dictonicary meaning but it is socialism by which our government is somewhat described as it is now. Our tax dollars goes in part to infrastructure, emergency response, schools, government spending etc.. And a part of it goes towards welfare and food stamps. Its just not to the 40% of non-tax paying population as to which Obama is purposing. Secondly, 95% is hardly a number that is even close to accurate. Remember Obama clearly stated receintly that those who earn above 250k will not see a tax change. Then he reported this number to be 200k. And if you heard Bidens slip he stated that those who earn about 150k will not see a tax change. So now everyone making above 150K will not see a tax change so I think Obama should retract his statement and make it clear what percentage is going to see a TAX BREAK. I think when everythings done congress and Obama will raise taxes just as Clinton did after telling everyone he was going to reduce taxes. Thirdly, the bailout by which you called socialism is not correct. The government made LOANS into those companies & banks that by the way have to be paid back. Once it is paid back those companies will receive their stock back so they can into sell it to the public. Havn't heard much of that being talked about because the media has been so baised in their reporting that they just want to pin everything on the republicans. In fact in was the democrates pressure to pass the home act that allowed bad credit to apply and be approved for loans that folks could not pay back. And when the republicans sounded the alarm over 2 years ago it was the dems that did not want to hear it so it was never brought to the house floor for a vote. These are all facts of which can be verified by government web sites. It doesnt matter who the dems brought to the election because everything has been blamed on the Reps. I didn't hear anyone bellaching 3 to 6 years ago when everybody was making money and living high on the hog. In fact George Bush had a 90% approval rating but all I hear about is how bad the last 8 years where. When in fact its just been the last 2 years when by coinceadent congress became democraticaly controlled. Huh imagine that. This is no gimmick as you proposed and there have been no mob rallies. The secrete service would have heard those proposed remarks so they were just lies and fear mongoring on the democratic side. By the way if you would have crunched the numbers your health care wouldn't have cost you a dime in additional tax dollars. I've had my own CPA figure the difference and he showed me the numbers and I would come out ahead on McCains plans even though I would be taxed on my health care. And lets be honest. With a Democraticly controlled congress do you actually think that McMain would be able to pass anything like that plan? Everything Obama wants he is going to get becuase there will be no resistance no matter how it may hurt Americans. That in it self is more scary than anything. I could live with Obama and probably would take a chance on him if not for the democraticly controlled congress. One more thing. Fact republicans donate on average 30% more to charities than democrates. Fact republicans fought and worked for women and African Americans for freedoms that they now enjoy. Now, why would Obama say that in San Francisco and not Pennsylvania? We have seen this before, yes? Something about guns and religion.

And why did Newsweek take their story on the Pennsylvania campaign down yesterday after this story broke?

The threat of "tests" for the new President is merely the truth. Of course every President faces tests. After McCain's ineffective rushing about and suspending his campaign -- merely because of a financial crisis -- we shudder to think how he would have handled 9/11. I have no doubt that Obama would handle a crisis much cooler and more efficiently than the old hothead.
