Is it just us, or after six months have the Democratic primaries become a little... well, boring?

For a change, then, we here at Stumper headquarters humbly suggest that the next contest on the calendar, Sunday's batalla en Puerto Rico, be decided not on the basis of which candidate is best prepared to lead the free world, but rather which one does the best little dance.

Fortunately for us, both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton visited the island this weekend--and both were inspired by the sultry sounds of Latin pop (and, in Clinton's case, a bottle of El Presidente beer) to shake their (it pains me to say this) groove thangs. Like our friends at Slate's Trailhead blog, who first directed our attention to these clips, we happen to think such "moments are, somehow, incredibly charming." (Or at least "charming.") Maybe it's the endless talk of superdelegates and Rules Committees and sexism and proportional allocation that has us down. The unrelenting nastiness between Obamaniancs and Clintonistas probably isn't helping. Either way, dancing definitely does a body good--and reminds us, despite all evidence to the contrary, that these people are actually human lifeforms. For your viewing (and voting) pleasure...

If the voters of Puerto Rico are to be believed, Clinton currently leads by 13 percent on the island. Don't be surprised if she reprises her dancelike motions before Sunday--or if either candidate uses their moves as a point of contrast with John McCain come November:
