So, if you are still undecided, think about America today. Think about America as it could be. Think about what kind of America you want to live in.

She has never grown up in life - living in luxury with kennedy name tag. That goes a long way for her.She is emotionally not involved with her husband and a typical selfish person. I am not sure, she used to be in NBC or CBS morning show, exuding her feminine charm, but it did not carry her higher- she latched on to the macho guy. Her endorsement is OK, but I don't think it means much.

It's a great symbol for the Obama campaign. Even I have goosebumps about what's to come if Obama is elected president. I've been thinking a lot about the attraction and draw people have towards this candidate and I think people just want someone to lead American to greatness again - we want to be liked again. I think people have become disillusioned by the fact that we're no longer looked up to by other nations. I think people are also afriad that an establishment choice, Republican or a dynastic choice like the Clintons, would not only send us in the wrong direction, but we'd lose that 'spark' and the sense of 'everything's possible no matter who you are' in America.

"The deterioration of John McCain's integrity as his fortunes improve in the primaries just proves that a truthful Republican is an oxymoron."

My, we just accomplished a lot didn't we, friends?

My problem with her endorsement of Obama is that his health care plan not only won't work, but he has chosen to sell its defects using "Harry and Louise" style mailers, thus proving that he has fully grasped the Republican concept of the "Big Lie".

http://krugman.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/02/02/healthcare-numbers/

http://krugman.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/02/01/obama-does-harry-and-louise-again/

Nonetheless, his misinformation is small compared to John McCain's constant reality revisions. He was a man who appeared to have some integrity until he decided to give it up to be the Republican nominee. I voted for him in the 2000 primaries. Now I would rather vote for a "yellow dog", as my grandfather used to say.

Thye other Republican candidates are even further removed from the "reality based" policy community.

It seems to me the Clinton campaign is saying to women that you aren't allowed to reject Clinton. It doesn't matter that politically you may loathe what she stands for. The Clinton camp seems to think that simply because she's a woman and you're a woman then you have no choice but to support Hillary. I for one am sick of it. They denigrate women at every turn who doesn't buy into Hillary's candidacy and that is going to cost Hillary dearly. Instead of Hillary worrying about how to muzzle Bill. I would suggest that Hillary and her supporters find a way to stop insulting women who have zero interest in supporting her candidacy.

More than 100 New York feminist leaders released a joint statement Sunday afternoon criticizing Hillary Clinton and supporting Obama for president - evidence that Clinton's support among women activists has declined significantly in the days before the super-Tuesday primary.

Clinton's support for the war in Iraq was the leading reason she lost the support of the group, which calls itself "New York Feminists for Peace and Barack Obama!" "We urgently need a presidential candidate whose first priority is to address domestic needs," the group added.

Those endorsing Obama include longtime peace activist Cora Weiss; Katha Pollitt, columnist for The Nation; Pulitzer-prize winning New York Times writer Margo Jefferson; award-winning women's rights historians Alice Kessler Harris and Linda Gordon; Barbara Weinstein, president of the American Historical Association, and Ellen P. Chapnick, Dean for Social Justice Initiatives at Columbia Law School. Susan Sarandon and Francis Fox Piven signed on Monday.

"Choosing to support Senator Obama was not an easy decision for us," the group stated, "because electing a woman president would be a cause for celebration in itself." They "deplored" the "sexist attacks against Senator Clinton that have circulated in the media." But, they stated, they nevertheless supported Obama because his election "would be another historic achievement" and because "his support for gender equality has been unwavering."

The group based their opposition to Clinton on "her seven-year record as senator." Despite her recent pledges to remove troops from Iraq, the group stated, Clinton's "record of embracing military solutions and the foreign policy advisers she has selected make us doubt that she will end this calamitous war."

The group supported Obama not only for his positions on the war and gender equality, but also because of "the dramatic engagement of young people" with his campaign.

Obama to accept an offer of the vice presidency from Hillary Clinton, as unlikely a prospect as that is anyway.

Hillary Clinton in the White House means a co-presidency with Bill.

Why would anyone what to take a position that, while it may be a heartbeat from the presidency, is also second fiddle in influence and power?

Who with any self-respect would accept being second-guessed and undercut by Bill Clinton?

The Clinton-Obama ticket idea is being floated by Hillary's trained seals in part to create a sense of moral equivalency between the two candidates--to the enormous detriment of Barack Obama.

The Clintons have nothing to say to a generation of young people looking for authenticity, honesty and transparency in their leaders and in their government.

That's why more and more, young people are turning to Barack Obama.

Let's talk about Americans' birthright.

Like the right not to be lied to ...

Or the right to be able to point to the White House and tell your children that honorable people live there ...

Or the right to vote for a president and vice president and know the Veep does not have to look over her/his shoulder at all times to see what the "co-president" is up to.

Or the right to have a president with enough moral center to know that torture is wrong ... not flip flop on the issue like Hillary Clinton did only after Democratic rank and file outrage caused her to switch.

Here is just one more example how the Clintons' pretentions to build monuments to themselves put voters' freedom and material well-being at risk ...

Feb 3, 11:40 AM EST

Clinton health plan may mean tapping pay

By CHARLES BABINGTON

Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton said Sunday she might be willing to garnish the wages of workers who refuse to buy health insurance to achieve coverage for all Americans.

The New York senator has criticized presidential rival Barack Obama for pushing a health plan that would not require universal coverage. Clinton has not always specified the enforcement measures she would embrace, but when pressed on ABC's "This Week," she said: "I think there are a number of mechanisms" that are possible, including "going after people's wages ..."

"GOING AFTER PEOPLE'S WAGES" ...

IS THAT THE WAY REAL DEMOCRATS TALK? ...

THE REPUBLICANS WILL KILL THE DEMOCRATS' CANDIDATES THIS FALL WITH THE KIND OF ARROGANT, CONFISCATORY PLAN PROPOSED BY HILLARY CLINTON ...

I went to hear Michelle Obama, who lived up to her reputation as a smart, persuasive campaigner on behalf of her husband, and to pay tribute to Caroline Kennedy for breaking out of her personal comfort zone and endorsing Sen. Obama. Here's what surprised me: the entertainer, Oprah Winfrey, who I had dismissed as "eye candy" for the campaign gave the most persuasive, reasoned and passionate rationale for women supporting Sen. Obama and against the idea that her support of a black man was a "knee jerk" response -- instead arguing that we women, black and white, had become free to support a candidate regardless of race or gender. Then came the coup de grace -- as Michelle Obama ended her remarks, she spoke of a surprise guest who would show that women are strong enough on their own, they can decide their own fates -- and I turned to my seat-mate and said "Maria Shriver" just before she came striding onto the stage. It was electric -- we knew then that we were at an historic political event. I am not a seasoned political volunteer but I've been phone banking and handing out campaign materials at the local Trader Joe's and have signs and bumper stickers and buttons galore. I have spent hours talking to friends and explaining why I, a middle-aged liberal woman, am supporting Barack, not Hillary. And I know here in California I've personally convinced at least 20 people to join the voices of change and support Sen. Obama. I don't think I'm alone -- nobody who I've talked to about Sen. Clinton has anything like the passion that the Obama supporters have and I think that will translate into votes tomorrow, votes for the future, for hope, for change, for Obama.
