Its time to make this happen. Some would argue its Hillary's turn, but this is not a hereditary title, its the Presidency. We need a person like Obama now more than ever. We need his experience, and we need the sea-change he will be domestically and internationally. His judgment is better than Clinton's, his record more consistent and less divisive. He will grow the party. The Future in Now. Vote Obama.

This means that we might just have a great leader in this country once again. He's got integrity, solid judgement AND experience (no matter what the other campaign keeps trying to feed people!) Let's keep the momentum going. Because if anyone other than Obama is elected I just might have to keep those plans to move to Canada! ;)

She had a bottomless well of funds to go the distance. She had secured the votes of enough delegates to win the race in record time. These factors made her candidacy INEVITABLE.

Enter Barack Obama. Started as an underdog and charmed his way to the hearts and minds of Democratic voters slowly. He attracted disaffected youth in to a formidable voting block. Slowly, he built a formidable organization with a brilliant campaign strategy that slowly withered the power and might of Clinton's INEVITABLE electiveness. He threw the first salvo in Iowa and wong big. He put a huge dent in her confidence. Her organization lost its swagger, made erratic plays. All of sudden now we know the Clinton campaign organization has no working capital. We also know that it has spent $5 million to pay its errant skipper named Mark Penn.

Well, it is a lttle early to call this a Herculian fall from grace, a humbling of an INEVITABLE candidacy that the once roared like a lion in the campaign jungles of America. The Clinton Machine has run out of fuel. And gas is expensive these days. Barack on the hand has wisely spent his money and astutely appealed to his constituents to topping up his bank account.

Dont feel sorry for Clinton. If she cannot run successfuly a campaign organization, how can she run the military, the economy and manage the lives of 300 million citizens of biggest super power in the history of the world?

Hillary Clinton is not against Obama she is against the senators who dislike her, they are just using Obama as thier weapon. I have sat In a senate proceeding and Its like a barn yard full of animals, The reason why Hillary Clinton has enemies in the democratic senate is because she doesnt let them tell her what to do, If Barack gets in there will be a lot of unmentionable things going on. Funny how the negro nation has turned on the Clintons especially Hillary. They have heleped them for years ( read her book)and now Obama twists her words ( funny it was right before the S.C. vote…..funny) and then like a slap in the face the whole negro nation backs thier brother. How much of a brother do you think he will be while he is surrounded by hundreds of rich white men? I think the better he does the more lighter his skin will get. Wake up America make the rigth choice for the country, go with someone who has done a lot of good, dont let the media and colour keep someone out of the White House who can fix the country.

What I mean by this color remark is that the black nation is being fooled by the rich whiite senators who are using them to vote in thier puppet. Its Democratic Manchurian canadite and its working. I moved to Canada when Bush got in, And if Obama gets in I will not be comming back because the economy will not rise as well as it should like if Hillary is in. I am a political reporrer and it is amazing how unbiast Canadian media is to thier polotics. In the U.S.A. I am ashamed to be a journalist as the media has a lot to gain if Obama gets in. why? because he pays them numerous ammounts of money and if he gets in he will give them a HUGE tax break. How do I know this? Bush did it in 2000 and I was whitness to the tax form that was signed by a Virginia television station.

PS: the only reason why Oprah is backing Obama is so she can hit the White House buffet any time she wants. The one thing she cannot at this time do to feed her ego.

This vote was made up completely from his supporters like me that cast early ballots weeks before he withdrew. I waited till the wed before to send in mine and changed my vote to Obama. The early voting here represents 40% of the vote. If Edwards was pulling that many votes’ weeks ago think of how many people sent in their ballots before Obama was here in person and really changed the momentum in this state. I'm sure that if someone looks at the returns that were actually cast on Super Tuesday they will realize that Obama won overwhelmingly in AZ and probably every other state except NY that had early voting. This should bode well in the coming primaries and caucuses for Obama

His oratorial abilities are right up there with the best of them and he is inspirational & non-divisive - something we're not quite used to, in today's politics. Unfortunately, imho, i don't think he has one very important attribute: EXPERIENCE. And, sadly, the media hasn't done it's job scrutinizing him more than they have - thus giving him a sort of 'easy pass'. She, on the other hand, has been put under a magnifying glass from Day-1 and she's still in the running... It's understandable that they seem to be enamoured by him - he's new & exciting - but they need to ask the tuff questions now. Suitability for being President is what this should be about - instead i think it's turning more into a popularity contest. Hunger for change that exists in the country today is palpable - but that doesn't mean voters should be swayed & carried away by a 'popularity wave'.

Vision is something that needs to be grounded in experience & i don't think he has what it takes, atleast for now in '08, to translate words into action. Substantively she is stronger & more suited to be President - in Obama's case i don't see it yet - and the media will be doing everyone a disservice by not probing deeper & asking tuff questions now.

JUST BECAUSE HE IS NOT WALKING AROUND LIKE MRS. CLINTON "KNOW IT ALL" DOESNT MAKE HIM LESS INFORMED OR LESS INTELLENGENT. THEY ARE BOTH VERY SMART. AND NO MATHER HOW SMART YOU THINK MRS. CLINTON IS SHE CANT EVEN EXPLAIN HER IRAQ VOTE OR WHY SHE VOTED AGAINST THE U.N. INSPECTIONS BEFORE INVADING IRAQ.

I FEEL THAT BOTH CLINTON AND OBAMA ARE SO SIMILIAR ON ISSUES THAT YOU MUST GO BEYOND THAT. MRS.CLINTON FAILED WITH HER HEALTHCARE PLAN IS THE 90'S AS FIRST LADY BECAUSE SHE DOES NOT WORK WELL WITH REPUBLICANS. IN A DEMOCRACY WE NEED LEADERS THAT KNOW HOW TO WORK WELL WITH OTHERS. WE NEED REAL PROGRESS. OBAMA HAS BEEN AN ELECTED OFFICIAL LONGER HAS REAL WORLD EXPERIENCE, HAS LED ON NATIONAL ISSUES IN THE SENATE, IS A SELF MADE INDEPENDANT MAN. HE IS NOT ALL TALK HE IS STRONG ON ISSUES AND IS INSPIRING. I THINK PEOPLE UNESTIMATE THE POWER OF WORDS. COMMUNICATION CAN PREVENT WARS, CAN INSPIRE TO JOIN THE MILITARY, TO REACH FOR YOUR DREAMS, TO DREAM WITHOUT LIMITATION. GOD KNOWS WE NEED THIS KIND OF POLITICS NOW A DAYS.

Let us all be part of it!

To All Of Whom It May Concern:

I love Senator Hilary Clinton for her dedication and her experience; she’s a great figure of strength, and a political icon. Nonetheless, despite those qualities, citizens ought to be cautious not to rush into any hasty generalization, which under such incredible circumstances, will impair our judgment and prevent our inner wisdom to grasp this very unique opportunity to be part of something as ‘Big’, as the making of a New America that is really united in facts and figures. We are heading toward redefining a new American history, let us not forget. One that is not…”colorized”, polarized, “genderized”, biased, unjust to our evolution, unfair to our future. The motto of change is dynamic we have to comply!

Let’s, together, endorse the consistency of energy, the power of youth; let us endorse sincerity and truth. Anybody can endorse a candidate fortunately; as of now, and as a result of the new era of politics, there’s no need to be rich and famous; your right to vote as a citizen is only what matters.

Have faith in you, trust your instinct, and Vote for a brilliant four (4) years to come as opposed to thirty (30) wonderful ‘yesteryears’. Vote for change, which, will be for the welfare of all people in America, a change that has the virtue of transcending race, gender, religion and give America a new profile in the world leadership.

To answer Chuck from NY, I will vote Barrack Obama. He, not only, has the ability and charisma to make that difference, but also, Mr. Obama is better suited for the position, because he has the fidelity and loyalty of a dog, to his country; he has the words of a Saint, the strength of a lion, the adrenaline of a young but fierce warrior, the charisma of a terrific leader, but most of all, the blessing of the future of America, which is, its youth.

What makes us think Senator Obama has what it takes to successfully lead the country? Mr. Obama will be successful because he has no reason to not be sincere when he said that all Americans, whether black or white, blue or red, man or woman, poor or rich; whether you’re a star entertainer or a factory worker, you will be on board, deliberating, suggesting and dictating the architecture of the new nation. It is time to say:

‘NO’ to the “Yes Sir, No Ma’am” politics baloney!

Lastly, why do I think Mr. Obama can beat the GOP nominee in November? He is a true democrat; one that has no billions of dollars in deficit under his belt, which millions of us, tax payers, have to suffer for. More importantly, Senator Obama has no substantial flaw upon which opponents can build a case.

A simple miscalculation on the part of Mrs. Clinton, and thousands of our soldiers’ lives are destroyed, their family suffering, the nation in agony, and a whole region in blood. My candidate has the conviction to fight for what is right, for our voice, from start to finish!

While I applaud the last debate statement by the Senator Hilary Clinton, which was so well put that I keep rewinding it over and over again in my mind, “It took a Clinton to clean up after the first Bush, it MIGHT take a second Clinton to clean up after the second Bush”, I remain convinced that it will definitely take America as a whole, to restore its image around the world, redefine its position as a great nation, regain its strength and what it stands for, rebuild Iraq and Afghanistan, lastly but not least, bring our troop home to their restless family!

For a job so handy, we need a self-made entrepreneur. We need a leader!

To all others,

You’re FIRED!

God bless Barrack Obama!

God Bless the United States of Am

One need only listen to this man speak to know that our nation needs him. His judgement is sound enough to guarantee that he will surround himself with quality personnel who will execute on his vision. And it is that vision that we are hungry for in America. We have been starving for it under the dreadful administration currently in power and now is the time to cease the opportunity to embrace a leader who will stir our hearts and our imaginations. Barack Obama is that kind of leader. He will be a great president and will restore our national self-respect. He is the only political figure on the scene today who is audacious enough to cultivate hope in the hearts of Americans. The time is now.

It is not right to stereotype blacks as the "negro nation" we are one nation of many ethnic groups and that is what makes us strong. I know plenty of black Americans that endorse Mrs. Clinton and they are entitled to their own political preferences but black people don't owe the Clinton's or anyone else a thing. When you do something for someone you do it because it is the right thing to do not because later on down the line you might gain political favor.

Furthermore, it is my sincere belief that if we truly want change in our government, that we change what we the people have been doing for the past 20 plus years...Electing a Clinton or a Bush to the White House.

P.S. "PoliticallyEfficent" your grammar and spelling are terrible. Are you really a journalist? Is that how they speak and spell in Canada? More like "Political Moron"!

For those readers who have not done their homework regarding Obama's substative legislative work, please visit the Library of Congress website www.thomas.loc.gov, summary as follows:

During the first (8) eight years of his elected service, Obama sponsored over 820 bills. He introduced:

233 regarding healthcare reform,

125 on poverty and public assistance,

112 crime fighting bills,

97 economic bills,

60 human rights and anti-discrimination bills,

21 ethics reform bills,

15 gun control,

6 veterans affairs and many others.

His first year in the U.S. Senate, Obama authored 152 bills and co-sponsored another 427. These included:

**the Coburn-Obama Government Transparen cy Act of 2006 (became law),

**The Lugar-Obama Nuclear Non-proliferation and Conventional Weapons Threat Reduction Act, (became law),

**The Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act, passed the Senate,

**The 2007 Government Ethics Bill, (became law),

**The Protection Against Excessive Executive Compensation Bill, (In committee), and many more.

Finally, a chance for a broad constituency to unite behind the best presidential candidate we have!

I think that we all can agree the entire world knows we are the mightest power known to mankind and that we could and would wipe anyone from the face of the earth if they attacked us. Why? Because of our strong national defense. Please don't confuse defense with the contrived immoral offensive war that we are currently waging on a small country that had no terrorist to begin with (but they did have oil). However, now that we have spent 1.7 Trillion almost 4000 us troops and hundres of thousands innocent Iraqs human lives, what do we have to show for it? Our treasure is spent, our national defense is weakened and our moral standing in the world is gone. So now what?

The Republican party keeps beeting the pavement with the slogan that "we must make America safe" when in fact this war and our current foreign policy is making us more unsafe! We must stop this war and use our troops and money to make America safe in America and not in the middle east! Democrats could and should run on the platform that they have a stronger national defense strategy then the Republicans by changing our foreign policy from one of aggression and immorality to one of strength and leadership. We need to once again take the position of greatnest that we once were. We need to shore up our economey by creating new technologies that will in-turn create new jobs and then export those technologies to the rest of world.

It doesn't make sense to me that by killing more people for 100 year (McCain) that it will make us more safe. Also, how does having permanent baises in other contries keep us safe? Don't we have bombers that can fly anywhere in the world or subs and ships with really nice missiles that shoot really really far? I wonder if we are aggravating people in other countries much like the Russians did to us when they tried to set up shop in our back yard in the 60's (anyone heard of the Cuban missile crisis?) And why are we giving Pakastan 10 Billion dollars when we can give health care to people in America? This just doesn't sound moral or finacially responsible to me.

Thus I will vote for Obama because he was always against the war even when it was unpopular! and I like his plan for health care because he dosen't want to force people to do what they don't want to do! That freedom of choice is important to me because I'm an AMERICAN for crying out loud. Hillary this is not the United states of Communism so please don't try and make it that. health care is great but if I don't want it then don't try and make me! Stay out of my coolaid...woman!

Do we want the status quo or a new era of possibilities?

Yes we can! Yes we can! Yes we can!

Go Obama!

It just proves how passionate she is about the job and she is willing to spend her own money to get it. That is great!!! I think one of these post said Obama supporters were selling their IPOD and other valuables so they could donate more. Why kind of president wants to take from the poor in order to get his job? Seems like the one who cannot manage is Obama. Does anyone know what his middle name is?

I am a Dem and in the end, I want the Dem's to win! I have been surpised by several Hard Core Republicans that I know who say they will vote for Obama, but will vote Republican if Hillary is the nominee. There is a blind hatred of Hillary among many Rep's. They cannot even explain why they hate her. If its Obama vs McCain I think Obama is in. Dem's will pull together and support whoever the nominee is and there will be quite a defection from the Republicans. Obama represents to many I know, a more optomistic future. McCain and Hillary may have more experience but they are also mired in the past and their views are old and outdated. I was told by my (republican) boss today that in the privacy of the voting booth Americans will vote for McCain, because as a nation we just aren't ready for a black man or a woman President. I pray we are better than that.

It's time for HOPE. It's time for CHANGE. It's time for Obama.

I think Obama's charisma, intelligence and leadership in bringing people together is a huge asset to dealing with the whole Israel vs. the Palestinians/Middle-East/Entire World issue. Lest we not forget that Chicago has one of the larger Jewish populations in the U.S. He's not going to sell Israel down the river.
I hope Hilary wins. McCain will toast Obama in any debate because Obama has no history. If he is so sure of himself. He needs to debate Hilary again and proof he has what it takes. He is already backing away from a US citizen what is he going to do in the eyes of terrorism

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am sure that he will not CRY when negotiations fail at summits with a nemesis of the US, or a nemesis is agressive. Look at what Hillary did after losing in Iowa...she cried in NH so that women would feel sorry for her and vote. She could not take the heat from Obama, how is she going to stand-up against McCain...Moreover, how will she stand up against Chavez., Ahmedinejad, etc. She is more suited for the job of a secretary of state...someone who will iron out the details before a meeting takes place between heads of state (Obama). Obama is more of a visionary..he can see beyond the horizon.

He has accomplished amazing things in the "little" time he has had! And before the Senate? He was doing work for single mom's and the unemployed....O I could go on but you need to read it for yourself! I have been a Republican for over 30 years and went and changed my party so I could vote for Barack this past Tuesday. (and I live in UTAH! ha! A state the expects you to vote a certain way!! Oh well.) After reading the first 2 chapters of his book....I was like "who IS this guy??" Man! we need a guy like him! GO OBAMA!!

No, he just doesn't like anything about this country and he just wants to change EVERYTHING. I suggest he go back to Tiawan or Africa and try the lifestyle out there for a while and then see if the US is such a bad place to live.

Where else in the world can you strongly differ politically with your neighbor or coworker and still live peacefully? Where else in the world can you strongly differ religously with your neighbor or coworker and still live peacefully? Where else in the world can you just jump into your car and go ANYWHERE you want as long as you can afford it? Where else in the world can you step out the door of you home and feel safe from EIDs and other explosive divices? We are SO spoiled that we don't even take the time to appreciate the wonderful country we live in. It is like any other thing in the world that always needs repair and updating, but you just don't trash the whole thing because there are some flaws that need fixing.

God bless this wonderful country, we are so blessed to be here!!

I do not subscribe to mindless following and mob rules, but i do see inspiriation in Obama's campaign. Why can't our leaders inspire us? Has it been that long. I do not seek someone that knows everything and find comfort in a leader that knows his limits and surrounds themselves with smart people that can help, and even disagree.

Has it been so long since we believed in a leader that to do so no feels so foreign, so much so it feels wrong, silly, and pre-teen.

I feel hopeful, I feel inspired, I feel like we can.., and it feels good.

Clearly, if you listen to Mr. Obama he comes off as a MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER NOT A POLITICIAN. It is a great characteristic of Mr. Obama to rally people however that unfortunately does not get the job done when it comes to politics. You can rally the average american however how will he do with the house and the senate??? This is where he lacks and where Mrs. Clinton has experience along with results.

I believe Hilliary is the best candidate based on experience and the public along with the press should recognize that. The press has not pushed Obama on this and have given him a pass on this issue while pressing Iraq on Hillary.

But he is up to his hips in the political process. He has raised more money than any other candidate. He is using the process and enjoying it. He only wants those of us who have nothing to change. He is very much indebted to them. And that is One Big Special Interest Group!!

He said he would fix all the levees in New Orleans if he is President. Why not take some of those hundreds of millions now and do it???

Both resorted to personal resources in trying to resuscitate a campaign but McCain suffered the fate much earlier and in much more bad shape. He managed to hang on and is now fully recovered and on his way to a coronation. Hill on the other hand was so full of vigor and slowly got choked up and slip up a few times, but definitely with empty pocket. While she may not be in such a bad shape, her mismanaged campaign finances exposed the biggest fairy tale of all - her economic managerial ability ! Can we please discuss more about this ? Should we let her managed our Healthcare after she bungled it during Bill's Hillarycare debacle ? In addition, we now know that Hill's secret of Garnishing Wages to forced everyone to buy her Universal Healthcare, isn't that undemocratic ?

America around. What enthusiasm can we have or confidence in someone who has been around for 35 years and is doing the same thing expecting different results. Common sense tells anyone that is not going to happen.

Don't you think Donald Trump and men like him surround themselves with people of wisdom and knowledge. Diversified thoughts are always better than one person dictating (back to the old addage two heads are better than one.) With the Clintons in there it will be like Enron or World Com or the likes that make all the decisions with no input from the people that count and hide everything until it is too late. If the Clintons get in we will have the whitehouse run like their own personal residence and that is a scary thought.

She might wear the pantsuit but Bill will be telling her which one (smile)!!

Why are we so quick to judge and degrade someone who is different or who offers a different view than ours? Take a look at the Clintons past and you will find they have bought their way through a good portion of those 35 years walking over the backs of a lot of decent people. We let Bill Clinton embarass America with his tromping and now we want to put him right back in there. As a woman I agree, if she can shed tears so easily over something so trivial, what will happen when someone upsets or crosses her in the whitehouse!! Let's be sensible Change is what America needs, in many many ways. I believe that Obama can put America back on the right track and bring the same grace and dignity to the whitehouse that JFK did and make Americans take interest in our country again.

Look how far the Europeans are ahead of us in many ways. If they are all thrilled at the thought of Obama taking office and representing America you would think we would have the same common sense.

I will be glued to the television praying to our almighty god that Obama wins!! Then maybe I can look forward to a better future for my grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Yes We CAN-- Go Obama!

I endorse Barack Obama ( just like the majority of germans), and I believe he has the power to strenghten the American Image in europe once again. It is your decision, but for us germans ,your foreign policy is quite important aswell.

Reading these comments I was quite shocked on how discriminatory some of the comments were. Worst are those comments about his muslim background...personally I don't think religion should have anything to do with politics,-ethics and morals yes, but this is not restricted to a christian. I do understand that America has it's history, and religion is more important to you than it is to us. So I respect that you ask for a christian president. But how discriminatory is it to put a person in line with terrorists just because his middle name happens to be Hussein? Do you know that Hussein is a very common name??So if its grandparents were muslims, does that make him a muslim? Is religious faith inherited with gens? He said he is a christian, and I believe everyone has the right to choose his religion, and that should be respected. In generally I believe the mind set of many americans toward muslims need to change. America has been attacked by muslim fundamentalists, yes, but that doesn't make all muslims bad, and neither the Islam. Many of you need to start to respect people of all faiths and ethnic descent...you are patriots, aren't you? Than grab the Constitution and read it with all the amendments! I did, and I know America has great principles. So live up to it!

Obama might be the best think that has happend to some americans, because he can teach you. He is a little of everything, just like America, and that is a blessing. There are still to many prejudiced citizens in America, take him as a chance. He is from African descent, so take this even as an inspiration to take a closer look to Africa...his father was Kenyan, not Nigerian...those countries lie thousands of miles away from each other and have very different histories! Educate yourself about this continent, with its precious cultures!

If you endorse Obama, fine, but if you like to criticize Hillary, do it right, criticize her program not the person, it is about the politics in the end, and whoever you prefer, it shouldn't be too personal. Clinton's and Obama's programs don't differ to much, so no matter on which side your on, just remember you want a democrat president in the end, there's no need to diss one or the other.

Sorry for the harsh words, I am not talking general, I know there are many non-ignorant people in america and some of these comments I thought were great. I don't want to sound like an arrogant european. Most of what I said targets germans aswell, we are not better than you.

So Please vote for OBAMA, he is a great chance for America!!

However, Barak is not battle hardened. As per media, Hillary always caculating and Barak is not calculating! From past experiance, it is very clear that Barak is going to be under microscope by the media after his win especially when Mcain becomes the rep nominee. I don't know how Barak is going to fight that. Hillary has already proved her ability. Also, what else can you bring to attack other than old stories against her. I also keep hearing about uniting republicans and democrats by Barak. How is he going to do that. If he is serious about bringing the war to an end, republicans will not join. Does that mean he is less than honest about ending the war in Iraq. Same applies to some other issues. If he can do that, why didn't he try that while he is in the Senate. I just raising some questions. That is all. Remember, Bush was a uniter also before he was elected.

Wonder if Clinton will sacrifice herself as Vader did for Luke or will she take off Obama's head first and then take on the emperor? As Clinton said it herself, she's no George and we'll need to wait until summer for the next scene.

God knows this country needs Much More than a good talker to meet all of the tough roads ahead. Is he going to stand in front of the terrorists that he turns loose on the world (when he surrenders in Iraq) and shout "Yes we can!!" or "I'm about change". They will snort their noses at him and march right over him. Have you heard the saying "Talk is cheap."? We need someone with Guts to draw a line in the sand and let terrorists know that they just don't mess with the USA.

I am so thankful that we have been safe within our borders from car bombs in our shopping areas and free from land mines ann IEDs. We just need someone who will guarantee that they will keep things safe here. And I don't think pulling out of Iraq prematurely and unleashing terrorists around the world. I am sorry, but I don't think Barack Obama has the courage to keep us safe. I honestly don't think he has the courage to fight Muslims because of his ancestry. If he wins the presidency, America loses.

He is showing us very early what he is really about. Hillary is the one reaching out to him! Hillary is wanting to debate, and is the one extending an invitation to him! If Obama is rejecting, and not communicating well now, I don't want to see how he will handle international, heads of state when there are challenges and issues that need to be addressed. Is he just going to avoid those confrontations, opportunities and meetings the same way he is trying to avoid Hillary's invitations now? How can he be an agent of change, and bring the parties together, if he can't even get along or communicate openly in front of all voters with Hillary? I'm proud of Hillary! She is the bigger person, wanting to communicate, and put herself out there! Does Barack Hussein Obama have something to hide? Why is he avoiding Hillary's invites to debate? Go Hillary! You are the true President that can bring people together. Look how your hand is already extended. We've had enough of Bush turning his nose up, and ignoring other countries and people's voices! We don't need another person like that trying to win the presidency! Hillary- you've got it! Show the American voters how you can get along with others, and you don't have anything to hide! Barrack Hussein Obama apparently does! Oh ya, if experience doesn't count, then let's go ahead and replace all corporate CEO positions with interns and apprentices. We had an inexperienced democrat in win the white house before (Jimmy Carter) - I don't think we can afford to have someone learn as they go at this point and time in our country. Barrack Hussein Obama speaks well, I'll give him that, but words can only carry so much weight; actions, and track records and an amazing resume are what will move us in the right direction- that is what Hillary offers. We can't make the same mistake again! This is our only chance to get it right. We can't afford to take a risk on a minimally experienced person like Obama. Go Hillary! Keep positive! God bless Hillary, her family, and God bless America!

Considering Clinton is still a 6 point favorite (13 and 10 point by Gallup today) this article is utterly insulting .

However, my hope is that one day you realize that SPINNING articles to fit the candidate you want to win is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen.

You do have that one guy who is STUMPING HARD to get the super delegates to somehow step aside. They are trying to put pressure on them to vote for Obama, because we all know that most of the super delegates will vote with Clinton, as she and Bill own the democratic party.

Dont worry. This is the LATEST attack on Clinton. I find it utterly amazing that she is still in the race considering the never ending psychological warefare waged by MSNBC and others. All free advertising for Obama.

I like Obama. But because of jerks like you, I will vote for Adolph Hitler before I allow the media to brainwash people into a candidate. You are way out of control.

Realize the ego it takes to run for senator in a state you never lived in with no prior elected eperience. Hillary looks so bothered that the crown isn't being laid at her feet. Hillary voted for the war and now lies about her reasons. Hillary still can't admit she errored. Hillary is a lightning rod for the Republicans. She will unite the right, all the while people like myself will choose the green party in protest if the super delegates choose the nominee. Obama represents truth and integrity, Hillary represents the tired leadership that doesn't know a winning candidate when it see one. Obama or Bust.....Also, ladies, please stop voting based on gender. If I voted your way, I would choose McCain as he is a white male, like myself. I have never donated money to a campaign, but I gave 50 dollars when I heard Hillary used some of her own cash. Please donate to Obama's campaign. One-third of his money is coming from average people giving less than 200 dollars.

Thanks and may we all realize that a man like Obama comes around once in a generation.

I'll cite as an example my dad, a staunch small-government Republican if there ever was one, whose current political philosophy is "throw them all out." He is planning to vote for Obama. He disagrees with most of Obama's policy views, but as he put it, presidents have only marginal control over policy particulars once they're in office. Their main role is to set the tone. And Obama can change the political tone like no other.

If it comes down to it, as a self-declared liberal I will vote for Senator Clinton in the general elections, even if it is with that unfortunately familiar feeling of voting for the lesser of two evils. But my dad?

Not a chance.

Firstly, there are 97 delegates at stake in WA State: 80 delegates and 17 super delegates. SEcondly, it is incorrect and false to indicate that Obama won more delegates on Super Tuesday. Every other news source (CNN, MSNBC, AP) shows the degate counts slightly favoring Clinton. Especially when includiing pledged Super Delegates. Also, I'm not sure which of WA State's major newspapers have endorsed Obama? The Seattle Times certainly has made no endorsement that I've seen. I think that's probably in the top two? And you might have mentioned (just for some semblance of objectivity) that both our State Senators and most of our Legislators have publicly endorsed Senator Clinton. Finally, in the last poll I saw on Local WA news, Obama favored Hillary Clinton by about 4% here. And there was a 5% Margin of error on that poll.

I feel stupider for having read this under-researched pitch for Obama that is supposed to be called news. Get your facts straight.

Incidentally, this is not a popularity contest--it is a job interview. Most corporations in the US wouldn't even hire Obama as an executive with three years of relevant job experience. He's completely unqualified. And if you cared about our country, you'd care about that too.

Aside from factual errors, e.g., the number of delegates in Washington state; misspellings; statements I cannot find attributable to any legitimate source, the overall shoddy work in this piece is appalling. Just another leg in the free ride Obama is receiving from the media, who have taken the bait, yet again, from overzealous, lying spinmeisters. So Obama took the "gold" in 14 states? Consider those states. All that glitters is not gold,

kdandurant@seacoastonline.com

February 08, 2008 6:00 AM

PORTSMOUTH — Rochester physician Terry Bennett said he rented a city building to people who worked for Sen. Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign — and skipped town without paying the bill.

Making matters worse, Bennett said, the 3,000-square-foot building at 236 Union St. was left trashed. Campaign signs were left lying all over the place, he said.

"It's a very nice little building, with an 1,800-foot warehouse and the rest can be offices," Bennett said. "There's a full kitchen and bath. They used it as a campaign center and dormitory. I expected them to hand the Realtor a check as they left. They did not."

Bennett said he wanted to be fair. The tenants contacted him and said they wanted the building for five days before the New Hampshire primary, which was held Jan. 8.

Realtor Michael Whitney said arrangements for the rental were made by Emily Walsh, who, Whitney said, corresponded with him from a Clinton campaign e-mail address. A New Hampshire woman named Emily Walsh has a blog written on Clinton's campaign Web site. She is listed on the Web site as a resident of Manchester. An Emily Walsh from Manchester has also been named a 1st Congressional District delegate for the Democratic National Convention to be held in Denver, Colo.

Calls and e-mails from the Herald to Kathleen Strand, Clinton's New Hampshire spokeswoman, were not immediately returned. E-mails and attempts to reach Walsh by phone, as well as calls to a woman who picked up the keys from Whitney, were not returned.

The Herald also made a call to Clinton's national campaign headquarters in Arlington, Va. A woman reached in the press office said she would try to get someone who could respond, but there was no response.

Neither Bennett nor Whitney knew how many people actually stayed in the building. The rent charged was $100 a day, for a total of $500.

Whitney, with the firm of Kelleher-Williams, confirmed the building was not left in good condition.

"We had to pick up after them," he said.

Whitney said he has been trying to collect rent for four weeks.

"I sent about 20 e-mails," said Whitney. "I hear the Clinton campaign is out of money. Maybe the woman got laid off. I called, but they will not return any of my calls."

This week, national news reports said Hillary Clinton loaned her campaign $5 million of her personal fortune. Bennett said he finds it hard to believe she can't afford $500.

When the group did not give him a check for the amount up front, as per the agreement, Whitney said, he gave them the benefit of the doubt.

"But they packed up and left," he said.

"They left enough trash for a small army," said Bennett. "We filled two of those big black trash bags with what they left. There might still be a 4x8 Hillary sign there we pulled off the fence."

Bennett said he bought the building about five or six years ago.

It's the former location of Pro Portsmouth.

The way Mr. Andrew is projecting the upcoming primaries and caucuses in February that Hillary Clinton is fading away from the nomination.

It is that notion that Obama has the better solution for the dwindling economy of the United States and a war in Iraq that is taking much of the resources and casualties, health care reform that must be addressed with fineness yet the Democratic party apparatus do not seem to understand that their party is beginning to fall a part giving the Republican (McCain) party advantage in the general election. This party needs to get behind a candidate who can deliver the nation a positive stand in many of the issues that have been outlined.

I am not sanguine about the prospect of a Democratic Administration whether it is Obama or Hillary Clinton but is merely a suggestion that a person with years of experience and in the public eye should bring about a positive change in this country. I am all for a dream team of Cliton/Obama in the 2008 election and that itself will show the world that a history has been made. Let's hope for a better future and a better America.

They have very strong and flaterry tongues which leave much to be investigated. They are very selfish people that stick to themselves alone. As a dedicated Democrat, I really dislike Hillary Clinton's behind the curtain arguments with Al Gore and their complete indeference about Gore's campaingn in the 2000 election.

The Clinton's intentionally played a behind the scenes opposition game against John Kerry in the 2004 general election to enable Hillary to run in 2008. Before the Clintons came to the White House, Democrats occupied the house but by the time they left, Democrats had lost both the House and the Executive branch, at least Reagan handed over to his Vice President.

These all add up to make me feel the Clintons are only for themselves, and if you only care about yourselves then nobody should care for your neither.

I have a hard time believing that someone that cannot manage her own campaign funds properly will be able to manage the US economy.

It's also being reported that her staff was "confused" about who to listen to during the last 2 weeks because it noone communicated to them (her campaign staff) who was managing her campaign....doesn't really say much about the type of leadership skills she has does it?!?

Hillary Clinton did much better when she spoke with passion about what she believed in, now she just worries about the voters she will offend. Who needs another 4 yrs of sucking up to the corporations that she so obviously owes because of the money they have poured into her campaign.

AMERICA AND IT'S YOUNGER GENERATION NEEDS A LEADER LIKE BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA.

His appeal is to the younger voters or potential voters and the caucus system handicaps the elderly who are less likely to join the frenzie and who are more likely to be attracted to Clinton. I think those states that have caucuses should reasses and give voters of all ages and abilities a place in the action

I heard this morning from Obama's foreign relations advisor that he has changed his plan to pull out of Iraq right after election. He has adopted the Bush/Chaney/Petraeus/Gates method of pulling out of Iraq. His early Iraq policy was made in ignoance. Now that he has done some research, he has found out that Bush/Petreaus and Gates are dealing with reality.

I THINK OBAMA IS MOVING TO THE RIGHT!! Oh, oh, how will this affect his far left supporters???

"I strongly disagree with the Administration's plans to "pause" the long overdue removal of our combat brigades from Iraq. We cannot wage war without end in Iraq while ignoring mounting costs to our troops and their families, our security and our economy. While the Administration puts our drawdown on permanent pause, bin Laden is on the loose, Afghanistan is sliding toward chaos, and we're spending billions of dollars a week in Baghdad instead of helping Americans who are struggling here at home. Our military leaders are concerned that Iraq is setting back our ability to respond to other priorities, and a Blue Ribbon Panel warned late last month that our National Guard is short of the equipment it needs to address crises at home. Instead of false promises and a faulty strategy, the American people need a rapid and responsible removal of our combat brigades that relieves the burden on our military, pressures the Iraqis to reconcile, and allows us to finally focus on the priorities that George Bush has neglected."

It's good to know that you're so close to Obama's foreign relations advisor that you get this inside information, and that despite the fact that you clearly don't like him he tells you all these things. Obama changing his Iraq policy? That's almost sad it's so desperate.

PLEASE! Obama will destroy McCain, but in the same smooth, charming way that has brought him this far! If Hilary can't manage her campagin funds, how can she manage our economy? Unless she was president of another country, she has no more experience than Obama. It's her "experience" that will continue to divide this country. At the end of the day, Hilary is still a WHITE Woman in America and Barack is a BLACK man. Don't think for a minute that racism and sexism don't play a HUGE role in this election.
