Romney got out at just the right time. Now Huckabee has just enough of a chance to raise McCain's blood pressure but no chance of winning. The closer he gets the more everyone will start to villify him for staying in the race and fracturing Republicans plus McCain is bound to start directing some of his nastiness towards Huckabee when he really feels pushed in a corner. With the only good candidate out of the running now, all that's left is to watch the soap opera unfold.

There is NO WAY that Romney is going to pledge his delegates to Huckabee.

And the longer Huckabee's stays in the race the more conservatives can express their dissatisfaction with John McCain. The more Huckabee wins the more shaky McCain looks as the Rupublican candidate.
