Then came Irangate . Travelgate . Troopergate . And, lest we forget, Nipplegate . So is this NAFTA-gate? Um, not quite. The truth is that she has mismanaged this campaign from the start, by taking the American people for granted and assuming that name recognition would carry her to the White House. Now that the road has grown rough, she has resorted to the same old "run of the mill" tactics that American people have wanted removed from the election process for quite some time. She wants to claim the Presidency not on her own merit but by tearing down the opposition and presenting it to us a change. She has mismanaged the proceeds of her own fund raising with lavish and unnecessary spending and wants the American people to put her in charge of the bank of democracy. She has run as a woman and consistently reminds the media and the general public that she is a women candidate and wants to put everything and everyone in “time-out”. Her own campaign committee has all but fallen apart and those who have not quit or been hired, are throwing each other down the stairs and reminding the public that Hillary is really a bully.

She talks about Barrack's lack of experience, when she has no legitimate experience of her own. She is the one that has flip flopped on NAFTA and once said it was one of the greatest achievements of the Clinton Administration. Her corner has thrown a questionable Obama- Rezko land deal bone to the media, but need to be aware that she and her husband have a closet full of skeletons (Whitewater, Pardongate, and the unforgettable words: “I did not have sexual relations with that woman.”) Hillary’s brothers have received funds from criminals that Slick Willy pardoned on his way out of the White House and she has the audacity to question someone’s ethics and financial practices. All candidates in this election with the exception of the Clintons have disclosed their tax returns and she is still campaigning as the candidate you can trust. Not only do I not trust her to answer the phone at 3 a.m., I don’t want her to answer the phone. I feel sorry for the folks who do trust her to provide them with healthcare, and jobs, and affordable housing, and a car, and college tuition, and diapers, and milk, and world peace. Hillary’s a fighter and I know some of you like that about her, but that’s what’s wrong with her; she is divisive and will not be able to honor her promises, because she can’t rally people together.

But the denials from both the Obama campaign and the Canadian embassy omitted an important part of the story. An Obama campaign staffer had discussed NAFTA with a senior Canadian diplomat. While a consulate-general is a different entity from an embassy, they are both staffed by Canadian diplomats.
