I believe Clinton is using it to her advantage and it's a crying "shame" that she has stooped this low. First the kitchen sink and now the race card. As far as Axelrod's comments go, they're factual. Geraldine Ferraro - she's just happy to be getting some air time. She's too valuable to Clinton right now and she knows it. Either way, it's all getting old and something has to give.

Everyone is entitled to his opinion. There is too much whining. Do no get mad, just answer the question. The only way to fight a lie is to tell the truth. Then let the voters decide. Even Jesus needed to answer wisely against the temptations he faced.

I also agree w/ "The only way to fight a lie is to tell the truth". So in balanced fairness to Clinton who has often been referred to by her full name Hillary Rodham Clinton, I think the Obama side and their supporters should not be so paranoid whenever somebody has the nerve to refer to Obama with his full name including his middle name "Hussein", even though some may have obvious ulterior motives in doing so. Because the more they treat it as sheer blasphemy to even dare utter the word and as long as even media goes along with any public chastising of the "offender", then the controversy around this word will not really die down. If he and his camp treat it as anathema to even say it in referring to him, why should he be seemingly reluctant in the utterance of his very middle name? Let it be used as any other middle name would be normally used, so people will eventually get desensitized to it. It would be better for them to say right out in the open now that while Obama may have Muslim roots stemming from his father's side of the family, he himself was not and is not a Muslim, instead of not mentioning anything about his father's roots/background. Explaining things clearly and factually would be a better tool in squashing any misgivings or doubts and questions on the issue.

What's good for Obama, should be good for Hillary also. It was important for those words to come out of Obama's mouth at the time, because it was a good opportunity for Hillary to show the people how she could muscle Obama around when she spoke. Hillary wants Obama to jump when she speaks like the media does when she spanked them for asking her questions first. Immediately afterwords, the media were falling all over themselves gathering up dirt on Obama to please Hillary after she spanked them for forgetting who she was, and for trying to treat her as a normal candidate running for the Presidency. Hillary must think that the people are stupid enough to believe that Ferarro's comments weren't shared by Hillary, and discussed as a possible reason Obama is winning and Hillary is losing. Those things do get discussed behind close doors. Ferarro only brought them out where all American's could hear them, because of the frustration of losing to someone like Obama who has no experience, and who is all talk and no action.

Ferraro ran for veep some years ago and lost. Ferraro should have focused on her own family. Her son was dealing drugs. What leadership ability do you have; when, you can't control your own family. How ca you expect to run a country?

White America's general perception is that "someone else"tells back America what to think, the Obama campaign, or "outside agitators" in the 1960's, for example; that black Americans still cannot grasp the context within which comments are made, appearances made on TV Talk shows to "explain", for example"; that black Americans frequently misinterpret "mere facts".

I ALONE, a 63 year old, southern African-American female with an EARNED doctorate, used my education and world experiences as the basis for my conclusion that recent comments by Geraldine Ferraro, Ed Rendell, Bill Clinton, and the Latino woman in Texas are racist. While these people may not view themselves as racists, words speak volumes.

First since what she said about racism and sexism cutting both ways then you have to also ask this if Sen. Hillary Clinton's name was Sen. Hillary Michaels she would have been asked to cease her campaign for POTUS because unless Sen. Obama is caught robbing a Liquor Store or a bank she is damn near mathamatically eliminated from winning the nomination. Second please allow me to explain HOW WHAT SHE SAID, WHAT WAS IMPLIED AND THE HISTORICAL MEANING BEHIND THEM WAS, IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE TAKEN AS A RACIST REMARK BY MY FELLOW PEOPLE WHOSE SKIN HAPPEN TO ALSO HAVE AN OVERABUNDANCE OF MELONIN.

I will frame my arguements and show you my opinion by the following way, first I will cite "TITZ": To the women who will say that was an example of sexism I will say this, when she was selected for the VP slot in '84 the Democratic nominee's nickname was "Fritz" so the ticket became known as the "FRITZ/TITZ '84" ticket. The CAPS will show my opinions and I feel they are probably shared by others like me.

"He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in the concept."

HE GOT TO WHERE HE IS BECAUSE OF AFFIRMATIVE ACTION, HE HAS NEITHER THE TALENT NOR ABILITY TO BE A SENATOR LET ALONE POTUS IF IT WASN'T FOR AFFIRMATIVE ACTION.

"I was reading an article that said young Republicans are out there campaigning for Obama because they believe he's going to be able to put an end to partisanship," Ferraro said, clearly annoyed. "Dear God! Anyone that has worked in the Congress knows that for over 200 years this country has had partisanship - that's the way our country is."

TO THE WHITE BLUE COLLAR VOTERS OF THE USA DON'T WORRY I DO NOT WANT CHANGE BECAUSE I WANT THEM 'DARKIES' TO KNOW WHERE THEY STAND IN THIS WHITE MANS SOCIETY

“Every time that campaign is upset about something, they call it racist,” she said. “I will not be discriminated against because I’m white. If they think they’re going to shut up Geraldine Ferraro with that kind of stuff, they don’t know me.”

I AM A WHITE WOMAN AND I WILL DO AND SAY AS I DAMN WELL PLEASE AND NO 'DARKIE OR DARKIE-LOVING' PERSON CAN STOP ME FROM SAYING ANYTHING.

JUST TO MAKE MY POINT ON THIS ONE FROM TITZ' OWN MOUTH

“I don’t want them to reach out to me,” she said. “I’m exercising my First Amendment rights. If they don’t like it, tough. I don’t intend ever to have anybody tell me that I can’t say what I want to say.”

I DON'T EVEN HAVE WORDS FOR THIS ONE

"Any time anybody does anything that in any way pulls this campaign down and says, 'Let's address reality and the problems we're facing in this world,' you're accused of being racist, so you have to shut up"

THE REAL PROBLEM THE WORLD IS FACING IS THAT THEM 'DARKIES' ARE TRYING TO TAKE OVER THIS COUNTRY THAT IS FOR WHITE PEOPLE AND THEY SHOULDN'T DISAGREE WITH I SAID BECAUSE AS A WHITE PERSON I AM RIGHT AND EVERYONE ELSE IS WRONG TO THINK OTHERWISE

And this doozie from her uttered on Apr. 15, 1988 in a Washington Post article:

Geraldine A. Ferraro (D-N.Y.) said Wednesday that because of his "radical" views, "if Jesse Jackson were not black, he wouldn't be in the race."

ANYONE NOTICE A PATTERN HERE?

THESE AND OTHER STATEMENTS ARE FOR TWO DEMOGRAPHICS THE BLUE COLLAR WHITE MAN AND TO OVER 50 WHITE WOMAN WHO LONGS FOR THE GOOD-OLD DAYS WHEN 'DARKIES' KNEW THEY PLACE IN SOCIETY AND DARE NOT QUESTION IT.

Now the reason why I said "darkies" is because as so many of the electorate in OH said "I WILL NEVER VOTE FOR A N*****R" Sad to think that still in this day and age that quite a few people look at Sen. Obama and other college educated black people and think that all they are is just a 'N****R" with a diploma.

If the African-Americans were not voting in masse he wouldn't be where he is now!

And,as the polls in Mississippi suggested 40% of the voters based their decision on race, out of that 40%, 90% were African-American. Who is being racist? Not the white voters, the black ones!!!

It's not going to work in the general election though. He will not win in November, because all of the independents and republicans will vote for McCain. Good luck all you Obama fans!!

That aside, Ferarro is clearly an angry white female. That Obama being black is the reason for where he is today? That is 100% b.s. and is preposterous to an extent that I cannot even begin to fathom.

Of course, if someone in the Obama campaign were to say, "Hillary is only where she is at today because of who she married", they would be tarred and feathered by Hillary's campaign.

This all comes down to one, very simple fact when you look at how these campaigns have been run - Hillary Clinton and her immediate staff are all hypocrites. They feel that they are entitled to the presidency and are angry beyond reason that Obama came from seemingly nowhere to block her as much as he has. They talk and act as if everything they do is ok because the ends justify the means as long as the "ends" is Hillary becoming President. Anything that the Obama campaign does that gets in the way of that? Attack it viciously - lies, racist comments, anything goes.

I was a Hillary supporter at one point. She really needs to focus on the real issues and how she can address them. Healthcare was the only thing she could really run on and she wasn't able to get anything done when she had the chance. What makes people think she is going to get anything done this time around?

America is diverse. Obama is a diverse candidate. His race has something to do with it only because he is not part of the elite, old and busted stereotypical politicians in Washington and you can see it on his face and in his actions. Even before he considered running for President, he made very delicate decisions with a great deal of thought. He has overcome bull his whole life. He sees things from a completely different perspective because of his multi-cultural background. He is one of us. One of the American people who have had to play the hand he was dealt. He has had to rise above the race issue. He has had to rise above failures and defeat. He has fought the legacy politicians to make real change. Though he has limited experience, everything he has done and the decisions he has made all point towards a man who has integrity, who makes good decisions and who can lead a multi-cultural World towards a new vision of America. He motivates people by helping them see HOW they can make a difference, even if just in some small way. If everyone makes a small difference then the World can change. We need a change and not Hillary’s rhetoric about change. She doesn’t offer change.

I switched to Obama because he is stable, compassionate and honest in every way. He is transparent and not afraid to make a mistake AND not afraid to take accountability for it. The small mistakes he has made didn’t affect anyone except for himself in his younger years.

If your audience and supporters have stigmas around multicultural individuals then the World will see the same old and buster Washington cronies doing the same old stuff that we have been doing. Hillary's camp has become a camp of spin artists that in the end, can only hurt the chances of real change happening within my life time. This country is a melting pot. Multicultural people are part of the foundation of this country: The great melting pot. There are some closet racists still out there hiding in smoky rooms with low lights who think there is reverse racism. I have seen both sides of racism from all points of view. Racism feeds racism. If there weren’t racists to begin with then there wouldn’t be reverse racism now. Reverse racism is a result of racism.

If you were born of a white woman and a black man, what are you? Black folks and white folks reject you as not one of them. We are all one. One nation, one human society. We need to put aside the race and gender biases and focus on making Americans proud to be Americans again. We need the World to see that we are a unique and unbiased culture as a whole. There will always be the extremists. Let’s rise above all of this.

Obama is 'lucky' to be black” Yes, we people of color think this all the time, especially when we go shopping in stores and are discretely followed while our friends who are not of color are left to shop without basically and escort. Or maybe when we are offered high interest rates on cars or houses when our credit reports are the same as others who are not of color. Maybe that is when we feel the luckiest to be of color or maybe when my 7 year old daughter came home crying from school because in her predominately white school they thought it would be fun to call her brownie or some other racial epithet, maybe this is what she meant about being lucky. Her comments are offensive, racist and appalling. This race is really showing the true colors of all parties involved and their supporters. The first time I was able to vote I voted for the Ferarro ticket not to mention voting for Clinton more time than I really should have. Since this race I will either stay home if Clinton is the nominee or vote for Nader. I really have a lot more respect for republicans because they actually stuck to the issues thus far and not attacked each other in their own party like this. I think it is more challenging to be of color in this country but, we make the best of every opportunity. It took me a while to decide who I would vote for but based on HRC’s response to leaving this lady on her campaign I know I made the right decision.

You look at the polls in the southern states he has won, you will see it. African Americans are voting for him in such large percentages because he is one of them. Math doesn't lie. If you compare the black vote to the white vote in every contest, you see a much greater margin for Obama than you do when making a similar comparison of female vs male votes for Hillary. That's all that Ferraro is saying. No racism--just pointing out the facts. We all have biases, and in this case Obama is receiving the benefit of racial bias.

The problem with stealing elections is that it opens the door for a political free-for-all in which the individual voter's ballots have no meaning and elections are only for show. That's called fascism, dictatorship, or communism (take your pick). It certainly is not democracy. So, even though I'm a feminist, I can't be swayed by feminist rhetoric when I see crimes against the American people being committed in the name of "girl power." I want a female President too. But consider how damaging it will be to women's future chances in politics, if our first female Commander-in-Chief is hated by the people for her skulduggery and election fraud.

And remember how Geraldine Ferraro's cheating on her taxes KILLED women's political chances at the Presidency until now, 25 years later. I don't want to give away the next 25 years to Hillary Clinton's mistakes.

Oh, yeah, Hillary hasn't released her tax returns yet. Are you old enough to remember what happened to Ferraro's candidacy after she released her tax returns? She got flushed down the toilet, and with her went the dreams of millions of American women.

Maybe if I'm lucky, I'll still be alive in 25 years, when Obama's daughter will run for President.
