Why you may suggest that Superdelegates will change there mind, that is in fact true, just over a week ago in the committed Superdelegates Hilary was well in the lead now Barack Obama has cut that lead to just over 30! and it is still closing.

The last weeks of Clinton campaign lies, attacks on Barack Obama be it faith or race does not sit well with the majority and Hilary has not been very convincing her comments not agreeing.

It is time that Mark P and Harold W along with Hilary get there heads out of the sand and for once see The Truth! the End Game is getting very close, Hilary is destroying the Democratic Party with her stubborn attitude and pure self interest, Country and Part must come first.

I don't want her to be president. That seems to be the consensus of more than half the registered, participating Democrats in this election process. I don't want her. That's MY RIGHT as an American. The more she tries to force herself on the American public, the more I can't stand the sight or sound of her. I haven't (and for the sake of time - won't) even mention the details of why I will never vote for her. It would be a day to make me sick to see that woman swear into office knowing that she only represents the will of perhaps 25% of Americans...if even that many. I'll vote for McCain before I vote for her. I'm not the only one that feels that way, either.

With that kind of persona, why should voters even listened to their promises, when they could easily twist words to fit their goal. The voters should never allow this attempt to replay a contest that have long been decided, but personal ambition is all the Clintons cared about. I wish that her supporters would have the courage to dissed them ultimately like the joke of in-coming NY Gov. Paterson told Barack which goes something like ''When I sign up to support a candidate, it's to the end. I actually supported Custer, but I did leave right before the attack.'' Hill can no longer win, except when she resorts to cheating ! If Hill's supporters still thinks she is the best candidate, her behavior and failed campaign management will just disprove everything they believe in her !

In this article: "None of Iowa's delegates--precinct, district or state--are bound to their candidates; a Clintonite can flip to Obama and an Obamaniac can flip to Clinton....So instead of ignoring the latter stages of Iowa's convoluted nominating process like their predecessors, both the Obama and Clinton camps have hired staff to whip up turnout.". Duh. That is what they are in the game for. What is the big news? Better do it now than at the convention itself. Anything that can clarify the numbers will help. And why is this article slanted to make it appear as if it is something neither candidate's staff should be doing? The article appears to be baiting some kind of reaction from the poor blogers who will feed on anything. Go Barack, Go Hillary. Get those delegates, firm up the campaign results, and then I hope we can all support whoever the winner is. I sure will. I want a winner and for sure do not want it to be John McCain who will work hard to WIPE OUT ANY SIGN OF PROGRESIVE OR DEMOCRAT policies and directions. GO DEMOCRATS!

While definitely in love with each other, Nancy and Ron seemed out of touch with their kids. That brings us to the Carter family. I was too young to know anything about him or his predecessors.
Barack Obama: On My Faith and My Church

The pastor of my church, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, who recently preached his last sermon and is in the process of retiring, has touched off a firestorm over the last few days. He's drawn attention as the result of some inflammatory and appalling remarks he made about our country, our politics, and my political opponents.

Let me say at the outset that I vehemently disagree and strongly condemn the statements that have been the subject of this controversy. I categorically denounce any statement that disparages our great country or serves to divide us from our allies. I also believe that words that degrade individuals have no place in our public dialogue, whether it's on the campaign stump or in the pulpit. In sum, I reject outright the statements by Rev. Wright that are at issue.

Because these particular statements by Rev. Wright are so contrary to my own life and beliefs, a number of people have legitimately raised questions about the nature of my relationship with Rev. Wright and my membership in the church. Let me therefore provide some context.

As I have written about in my books, I first joined Trinity United Church of Christ nearly twenty years ago. I knew Rev. Wright as someone who served this nation with honor as a United States Marine, as a respected biblical scholar, and as someone who taught or lectured at seminaries across the country, from Union Theological Seminary to the University of Chicago. He also led a diverse congregation that was and still is a pillar of the South Side and the entire city of Chicago. It's a congregation that does not merely preach social justice but acts it out each day, through ministries ranging from housing the homeless to reaching out to those with HIV/AIDS.

Most importantly, Rev. Wright preached the gospel of Jesus, a gospel on which I base my life. In other words, he has never been my political advisor; he's been my pastor. And the sermons I heard him preach always related to our obligation to love God and one another, to work on behalf of the poor, and to seek justice at every turn.

The statements that Rev. Wright made that are the cause of this controversy were not statements I personally heard him preach while I sat in the pews of Trinity or heard him utter in private conversation. When these statements first came to my attention, it was at the beginning of my presidential campaign. I made it clear at the time that I strongly condemned his comments. But because Rev. Wright was on the verge of retirement, and because of my strong links to the Trinity faith community, where I married my wife and where my daughters were baptized, I did not think it appropriate to leave the church.

Let me repeat what I've said earlier. All of the statements that have been the subject of controversy are ones that I vehemently condemn. They in no way reflect my attitudes and directly contradict my profound love for this country.

With Rev. Wright's retirement and the ascension of my new pastor, Rev. Otis Moss, III, Michelle and I look forward to continuing a relationship with a church that has done so much good. And while Rev. Wright's statements have pained and angered me, I believe that Americans will judge me not on the basis of what someone else said, but on the basis of who I am and what I believe in; on my values, judgment and experience to be President of the United States.

And she says she loves this country, she is trying to tear apart the democratic party in her greed for power and prestige. This is the reason we need a change and we need someone young and not corrupted like the Clintons as the next president of the United States.

I think it is great! It will give Iowans a chance to undo the damage they did by starting Obama off in the first place. Clinton is the best candidate, and will prevail in this primary process. Why? Because in the end, she will have the larger popular vote, and no democrat wants a repeat of the 2000 election where the popular vote winner did not win the election.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bogie813. Sorry to burst your bubble. Senator Obama is AHEAD in all aspects of the nomination so far. HIllary will have a hard time trying to play "catchup"! Also, Hillary, herself disagrees with you that the popular vote counts....she is all about the delegates! Yes, the delegates!

However, in her defense, because this should be a fair, truthful election, I have received about 4 calls asking who I was supporting as my support was listed as undeclared. When I responded with "Obama" I was either told "great" or "thank you." No one tried to convince me to change my support. I think the calls are mainly to identify Edwards delegates, not change Hillary or Obama delegates. I strongly support Obama and feel that he is by far the better candidate and the best choice for our next president, but I don't want to see him win unfairly - that's not what his campaign is about. Obama in 08!!!

Jeremiah Wright, Obama's pastor for the last 20 years at the Trinity United Church of Christ on Chicago's south side, has a long history of "inflammatory rhetoric," "The government gives them the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes a three-strike law and then wants us to sing 'God Bless America.' No, no, no, God damn America, that's in the Bible for killing innocent people," he said in a 2003 sermon. "God damn America “Here is his pastor of 20 years preaching anti-American, racial hatred, anti-seminitc, revenge-seeking language. That candidate wouldn't last 15 minutes! (Neither should this one.) No wonder Michelle Obama felt so comfortable saying she finally has a reason to be proud of her country! Bet she hangs on every word her Pastor says! The hatred he spews toward whites is about as bad what the KKK is noted for spewing toward blacks. Neither has any place in this country. Obama has been going to this church for 20 years, listening to this subversive, anti-American crap and continues to go to the church and call this man his spiritual advisor. Why is the media not going after Obama and asking him why he didn't leave this anti-American's flock? How can someone be President of the United States when for the past twenty years he has been going to an "I Hate America" lecture every Sunday. I want a President who is committed to America 100%. Obama himself stated that he did support the committment to Africa. Just think of how "God Damn America" will be played over and over and over again in Republican ads. The Democratic party needs to wake up and realize that we're being sold a bill of goods where Obama is concerned. What has the man accomplished during his short time in the U.S. Senate? The Rev. Jeremiah Wright's anti-American, hate speech sealed the deal for me and millions of other citizens of this Great nation. Wakeup American we do not need to have three mistakes in row. This Guy singing for 20 years “God Damn America” and now some people want to give him the honor to be president.

To insult our country and to damn our country, while this man enjoys the very blanket of freedom that I (being military) provide, is absolutely unforgivable. I would NEVER vote for Obama. Not even for the president of the PTA. I HOPE THE SUPERDELEGATES OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY TAKE A GOOD HARD LOOK AT THIS BEFORE THEY MAKE THE DECISION TO GIVE THE NOMINATION TO SOMEONE WHO SEEMS TO BE LACKING IN GOOD JUDGEMENT WHERE HE RECEIVES HIS SPIRTUAL GUIDANCE

Now we have to decide who should be on top of the ticket.

“Purple” states are those where, for example, the Presidential vote in 2004 was separated by about 6% or less. Those include Ohio, Florida, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Nevada, and New Mexico which Hillary either already won or is leading. These are the states that the Democratic Party must win in November. It is critically important that the Democratic candidate be the one who draws most strongly in those key states. To believe that the candidate who did not attract a majority of Democratic voters in the primaries there, will somehow get not only most of those Democratic voters but also draw similar voters from outside the Democratic Party is naïve and dangerous if your ultimate goal is to not have a Republican in the White House this time next year. Upto now Hillary has 2064 delegates and Obama has 1394 delegates using the same method that is used in the General election. Assuming that Hillary wins PA, WV,Indiana and PR & Guam and Obama gets SD, NC , OR , MT , she will have 2439 delegates and Obama will have 1606 delegates. If Democrats ignore this and give top of the ticket to Obama, 25% of the Democrats will vote for Republicans and we can lose both the House & the Senate. This is exactly what happened when Anti War hero McGovern was nominated and we lost all states except Mass.

Michelle Obama and Oprah initiated the Race Card - and we gave them a huge pass. But these latest attacks - claiming Hillary's comment about VP was racist code for Obama to "get to the back of the bus" is disgusting! Obamabots find racist comments in every statement!!

Hillary should be the nominee.

AS for those who keep parroting the neat little phrase anti-Hillary activists have coined that she was only Bill Clinton's wife, Hillary Clinton's experience is not comparable to that of a mere wife. She has been an active participant in proposing, obtaining support for, and establishing programs which have helped our nation.

The following facts are taken from http://www.millionbabyboomers.com/baby_boomers_blog/2008/03/hillary-clinton.html

The first lady plays an important role in international affairs. Clinton made the position even more important, being the first First Lady to have had her own carreer. She moved the First Lady's office from the East Wing to the West Wing, and in 1997, while she was First Lady, she helped establish the State Children's Health Insurance Program and the Adoption and Safe Families Act.

Even before she became first lady, Clinton was involved with legislation and executive issues. During her post-graduate study, sheserved as staff attorney for the newly founded Children's Defense Fund in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and as a consultant to the Carnegie Council on Children. During 1974 she was a member of the impeachment inquiry staff in Washington, D.C., advising the House Committee on the Judiciary during the Watergate scandal.

Children have always been important to her, and after she married Bill and moved to Arkansas, she continued to do pro bono work in child advocacy, and published the scholarly articles "Children's Policies: Abandonment and Neglect" in 1977 and "Children's Rights: A Legal Perspective" in 1979.

She co-founded the Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families, a state-level alliance with the Children's Defense Fund, in 1977, and served on the boards of the Arkansas Children's Hospital, and the Children's Defense Fund (as chair, 1986–1992).

In late 1977, President Jimmy Carter (for whom Rodham had done 1976 campaign coordination work in Indiana) appointed her to the board of directors of the Legal Services Corporation and she served in that capacity from 1978 until the end of 1981. For those who are too young to know what that was, Legal Services were often the only way poor people could get legal services for things like getting a divorce or representation when landlords tried to throw them out. She served on the board of directors for Legal Services from 1988–1992.

As First Lady of Arkansas in January 1979, her title for a total of twelve years (1979–1981, 1983–1992), she served as the chair of the Rural Health Advisory Committee, where she successfully obtained federal funds to expand medical facilities in Arkansas' poorest areas without affecting doctors' fees.

She chaired the Arkansas Educational Standards Committee from 1982 to 1992 where she sought to bring about reform in the state's court-sanctioned public education system. She introduced Arkansas' Home Instruction Program for Preschool Youth in 1985, a program that helps parents work with their children in preschool preparedness and literacy

Clinton has also worked relentlessly for women's rights. She was named Arkansas Woman of the Year in 1983 and Arkansas Mother of the Year in 1984. From 1987 to 1991 she chaired the American Bar Association's Commission on Women in the Profession, which addressed gender bias in the law profession and induced the association to adopt measures to combat it She was twice named by the National Law Journal as one of the 100 most influential lawyers in America, in 1988 and in 1991.

From the time she came to Washington, she also found refuge in a prayer group of The Fellowship that featured many wives of conservative Washington figures. Triggered in part by the death of her father in April 1993, she publicly sought to find a synthesis of Methodist teachings, liberal religious political philosophy, and Tikkun editor Michael Lerner's "politics of meaning" to overcome what she saw as America's "sleeping sickness of the soul" and that would lead to a willingness "to remold society by redefining what it means to be a human being in the twentieth century, moving into a new millennium."

Along with Senator Ted Kennedy, she was the major force behind the State Children's Health Insurance Program in 1997, a federal effort that provided state support for children whose parents were unable to provide them with health coverage. She promoted nationwide immunization against childhood illnesses and encouraged older women to seek a mammogram to detect breast cancer, with coverage provided by Medicare. She successfully sought to increase research funding for prostate cancer and childhood asthma at the National Institutes of Health. The First Lady worked to investigate reports of an illness that affected veterans of the Gulf War, which became known as the Gulf War syndrome. Together with Attorney General Janet Reno, Clinton helped create the Office on Violence Against Women at the Department of Justice. In 1997, she initiated and shepherded the Adoption and Safe Families Act, which she regarded as her greatest accomplishment as First Lady. n Child Care (1997), Early Childhood Development and Learning (1997),[145] and Children and Adolescents (2000), and the first-ever White House Conferences on Teenagers (2000) and Philanthropy (1999).

As First Lady, Hillary Clinton traveled to 79 countries. In a September 1995 speech before the Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing, Clinton argued very forcefully against practices that abused women around the world and in the People's Republic of China itself, declaring "that it is no longer acceptable to discuss women's rights as separate from human rights" and resisting Chinese pressure to soften her remarks. She was one of the most prominent international figures at the time to speak out against the treatment of Afghan women by the Islamist fundamentalist Taliban that had seized control of Afghanistan. She helped create Vital Voices, an international initiative sponsored by the United States to promote the participation of women in the political processes of their countries.

Clinton initiated and was Founding Chair of the Save America's Treasures program, a national effort that matched federal funds to private donations for the purpose of preserving and restoring historic items and sites, including the flag that inspired the Star Spangled Banner and the First Ladies Historic Site in Canton, Ohio. She was head of the White House Millennium Council, and initiated the Millennium Project with monthly lectures that discuss futures studies, one of which became the first live simultaneous webcast from the White House. Clinton also created the first Sculpture Garden there, which displayed large contemporary American works of art loaned from museums in the Jacqueline Kennedy Garden.

In the White House, Clinton placed donated handicrafts of contemporary American artisans, such as pottery and glassware, on rotating display in the state rooms She oversaw the restoration of the Blue Room to be historically authentic to the period of James Monroe, the redecoration of the Treaty Room into the presidential study along nineteenth century lines, and the redecoration of the Map Room to how it looked during World War II. Clinton hosted many large-scale events at the White House, such as a St. Patrick's Day reception, a state dinner for visiting Chinese dignitaries, a contemporary music concert that raised funds for music education in public schools, a New Year's Eve celebration at the turn of the twenty-first century, and a state dinner honoring the bicentennial of the White House in November of 2000.

Unlike Obama, who has nurtured his "superstar" status and began campaigning for president almost as soon as he arrived in D.C., upon entering the United States Senate, Clinton maintained a low public profile, built relationships with senators from both parties and forged alliances. She has served on five Senate committees: Committee on Budget (2001–2002),[207] Committee on Armed Services (since 2003), Committee on Environment and Public Works (since 2001), Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (since 2001) and Special Committee on Aging.[209] She is also a Commissioner of the Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe(since 2001).

Looking to establish a "progressive infrastructure" to rival that of American conservatism, Clinton played a formative role in conversations that led to the 2003 founding of former Clinton administration chief of staff John Podesta's Center for American Progress; shared aides with Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, founded in 2003; advised and nurtured the Clintons' former antagonist David Brock's Media Matters for America, created in 2004; ] and following the 2004 Senate elections, successfully pushed new Democratic Senate leader Harry Reid to create a Senate war room to help get information to all Senators in a timely fashion.

In comparison, when asked about his experience, Obama typically points to his legislative record in Illinois and rattles off several bills he sponsored as an Illinois lawmaker. The problem is that he was assigned credit for this legislation by Emil Jones, Jr., who had decided to make Obama a U.S. Senator, even though he hadn't worked on the bills before.

From www.dallasobserver.com/2008-02-28/news/obama-and-me/

Several months before Obama announced his U.S. Senate bid, Jones called his old friend Cliff Kelley, a former Chicago alderman who now hosts the city's most popular black call-in radio program.

"He said, 'Cliff, I'm gonna make me a U.S. senator.'"

"Oh, you are? Who might that be?"

"Barack Obama."

Jones appointed Obama sponsor of virtually every high-profile piece of legislation, angering many rank-and-file state legislators who had more seniority than Obama and had spent years championing the bills.

"I took all the beatings and insults and endured all the racist comments over the years from nasty Republican committee chairmen," state Senator Rickey Hendon, the original sponsor of landmark racial profiling and videotaped confession legislation yanked away by Jones and given to Obama, complained to me at the time. "Barack didn't have to endure any of it, yet, in the end, he got all the credit.

"I don't consider it bill jacking," Hendon told me. "But no one wants to carry the ball 99 yards all the way to the 1-yard line and then give it to the halfback who gets all the credit and the stats in the record book."

The problem I have with Obama is that the experience he claims doesn't stand up to scrutiny. And if you think I'm being negative, just wait until the republicans get a hold of him. They haven't been able to get anything to stick to Hillary, even though they have been trying for years. They're all politicians, and negative stuff can be put out about anyone, whether true or not, so I'm not looking at that. I'm looking at the candidates credentials, what they have done, the positions they have held, how much experience they have in working within a bureaucracy (and Obama will NOT be able to get rid of bureaucracy in D.C., it's part of the system of checks and balances).

Show me where Obama worked as an executive in any capacity in his entire life. There is no question that Hillary has far more experience than he has and far more public service at all levels, from on the ground, organizing and registering minority voters, to working with international delegations to address human rights.

The Republicans are not more scared of "running against" Obama than Clinton, if anything, they are more scared of him actually being elected because his rating is far more liberal, and he is more of an unknown quantity.

On the other hand, Obama's background makes him more of a target than Hillary (aren't we all tired of the same old complaints about Whitewater, etc.? - They haven't worked!). What the republicans are hoping is that they can divide the party and that if Hillary gets the nomination the blacks will be so upset they won't come out to vote, and then McCain will be elected.

Obama has charisma, but if you do the research, in the general election he won't win in the states he has won with the black block votes. There are too many republicans who will come out to vote against him.

I'd be in favor of a combined ticket, that way the Republican's can't divide the dems. My personal preference is for Hillary to be the nominee because I do think she has far more experience in how to get things done -- not just in D.C., but where ever she is, including Arkansas and New York, and Texas (when she was registering voters there) and Illinois (when she was working for the Carter campaign). IF he was willing to be her VP, Obama could learn a great deal from her about how to get things done, about running an executive office, about not giving up when you are behind.

THAT IS WHAT REALLY SCARES REPUBLICANS.

Do you really think the Clinton want to go down the road of questionable transactions in real estate? Do we need to bring up Whitewater. I gotta tell you I hope Obama clears up whatever the Rezko dealing were. He is at least coming out and talking about, stating that he realizes that he made an error. What do you think the the Clinton Campaign does not have some questionable activity going on in her fundraising campaign right now. Why not just come clean and show us your tax returns, what are you hiding Hillary. We already know the Clintons lie on there taxes as done in the 80's. I was a huge Clinton supportor in the 90's, but that would be Bill Clinton. What Hillary and Bill and the whole campaign is doing now is tearing apart this party with a win at all cost strategy. With these tactics, if she wins, which she wont, she will disenfranchise so many young americans that finally believe that have a candidate that will change the way of politics in america. A President that will unite us. After the last 8 years we all agree that this is what we need. Please Hillary for the good of this party and for the good of the America that you continue to point out you love so much, step aside and let the better candidate move on.

You need to stop and actually listen when he speaks. All he talks about is change, but what is he actually going to change. So far I've heard him talk about 2 changes he is going to make, 1.He wants to change NAFTA because NAFTA is causing a lot of our jobs to go over seas (NAFTA is an agreement with Mexico and Canada), obviously he has no clue what he is talking about. 2. He will pull all of the troops from Iraq and will only send them back if he finds out Al Qaeda is there, then he says that Al Qaeda is only there because the USA invaded Iraq in the first place. So how is he pulling the troops out if Al Qaeda is there? Obama supporters please help me understand. Most of the Obama supporters just like him because he has a likeable personality and black people vote for him just because he is black. Those who say it is not about race have to be kidding themselves; he is getting 90% of the black vote. If Obama were not black then half of those votes would be Clinton's.

In fact, it was a Democrat who proposed moving up the election date despite the sanction. The bill moved through the Congress w/o any objection, neither Republican or Democrat. While it is unfortunate Floridians vote will not be counted, Floridians did elect the state officials who decided to go against the best interest of the its people. Florida elections results should not be counted as they are and in fact, I do not think there should be a re-do. Everyone knew the rules going into it. If you blatantly disregard the rules, then you should not be allowed to play the game. The blame doesnt rest with the Obama or Clinton camp or even the DNC. It rests with Florida & Michigan as well. I dont think Michigan should be allowed a do-over even. I do not think it is so much about seating the delegates than it is about tilting the election to the once thought of "shoe in candidate", Hillary. If it was about seating the delegates then spilt the delegates evenly between the parties and so no one candidate is advantaged or disadvantaged by Florida & Michigan actions.

Its ignorant of you to make such a blanketed statement. Obama supporters are in fact well educated. It is the lesser educated folk that support Clinton. I take the position that the more you know, the more you know Clinton can not be effective in the White House. This is not to say she is a bad person but that she is not what the country needs right now. People are looking for an alternative. We cant expect different results with the same strategies. Does Obama have all the answers? No. If he did, he would not get my vote because that would mean he is arrogant and Bush has shown us with arrogance and ignorance does to our nation. Obama message is change and notice every candidates is not speaking change. Obama's outlines very specfic things he will do to change everything from education to healtchare. Lastly, it is not about race. What it is about is that Obama is a well qualified candidate who happens to black. He is a non-polaring figure, unlike Sharpton and Jackson, who blacks can get behind. Blacks along could not have gotten Obama this far in the contest so there are a whole lot of white folk voting for him. What you want to bet is is not because he is black but because he is the best person for the job.

All she can do is resort to the politics of defining what everyone else is about rather than attempting to stand on her record of secret financing, passing earmarks for foreign governments that have contributed to the library and to discuss their millions in tax have accounts in Lichtenstein.

I am sure that Hillary will be marching again this year in Pottsville.

And oh, yeah, Hillary hasn't released her tax returns yet.

Are you old enough to recall what happened to Ferraro's candidacy after she released her tax returns? She got flushed down the toilet, and with her went the dreams of millions of American women. I don't want to give away the next 25 years to Hillary Clinton's mistakes.

The issues of character that Hillary's dirty campaigning raise are real issues, and have alienated millions of voters, including me. Is she blind to the fact that people observe her behavior and come to the conclusion that she is not to be trusted?

Looks like that dream of a female president will end up being put on hold again. Maybe if I'm lucky, I'll still be alive in 25 years, when Obama's daughter will run for President.

It's all part of the process, I personally think this is a pretty smart harmless political move. At least it's not telling people the wrong date. Like this robocall below in support of Obama. Taken from a post on www.thesuperspade.com which looks to be an Obama supporter as well. But when you really look at them both. This Obama call could really generally be an honest mistake, just as the HIllary call i believe is being comepletely misunderstood. even if it were automated like it is, by pressing or not pressing "1" you are telling where your support is and that indeed is a way to stat count and figure out who is for who, harmless. Hopefully for Obama supporters, cross fingers that his robocall is an honest mistake. But the point is, just look in a little and most will find that Obama isn't as big a perfect saint as his MySpace, and Facebook pages suggest.

"According to The Stranger, as well as a caller into the Thom Hartmann radio program (great show), robocalls are going out to some in Washington telling them that the caucus in on Sunday, not Saturday (the actual date).

The calls apparently came from Meyer Associates Teleservices, a St. Cloud, MN-based direct marketing company. This company has done extensive work for the Obama campaign in Illinois, New Hampshire, and other states.

Robocalling is completely unacceptable. If this was done purposely, it’s inexcusable. If it was done accidentally there are no accidents in politics at this level. Democrats don’t like when Republicans do it to them. Democrats therefore should not do it to each other. Note also that this process is illegal in some states, and Obama’s calls [courtesy of Meyer] were found to violate New Hampshire law.

This is sad, and I really, really want this to be untrue, but the evidence is not looking that way at this point. I want honest, ethical politics, not this stuff. "

I still don't see how Obama could go to that church, call that minister his mentor and even dedicate his book to Rev. Wright. He had to know that minister's sentiments and if he did, he had to agree with him to attend that church for so long. He only made the decision to condemn the comments recently and he said he will always be friends with Rev. Wright and will continue to go to that church even if he is in the White House. Is that where we want our president going on Sunday? Where they preach anti-American sentiment. The Rev. Wright made those damnation sermons of America numerous times. My twentythree year old son liked Obama but that turned him away from Obama as a leader altogether.

.....then about his Pastor OF 20 YEARS, Jeremiah Wright trip to Libya with Momar Kodafi, Baracks Church giving a racist like Farrahkhan a lifetime acheivement award for excellence when Farahkhann has spewed White HATE SPEECH, anti semitic speeches about the jewish gutter religion.....

Pastor Jermeiah Wright is quoted as saying Barack's Jewish support will dry up as soon as the mainstream media and population becomes aware of Dr Wrights summit with Farahkhan & Kodafi.....

you dont think GOP is going to make this a media frenzy?

I love that there talking about this finally and it just goes to show you this Paster was by His own words the was "The Base of his book and senate and presidential run". This goes directly to his decision making that he decrys is beyond reproach. The guy was his pastor for over 20 years they have tape after tape of this guy spewing racist junk and conspracy therorys about the US inventing AIDS to kill Black men that he said instead of GOd Bless the USA he said GOD Damn the USA(what a preacher Barrack likes) He also said that this was the United states of the KKK, The Pastor is a Nut Job and we dont believe Barrack when he says he never knew anything about him saying these things (BS), If someone has video of Obama at one of these events while these comments are going on I bet the press would pay a Million dollars for it. Either way i believe Barrack knew about these comments and agreed with them. The church Manifesto is completely about racial devision and that is still the churches stance Obonga still supports them and is a active member.

Barrack stated this guy is like an uncle to him and he looks up to him in the highest reguards, If this had been outta much earlier when the press was completely in the tank for Obama treating him with kids gloves and Demonizing Hillary at every turn. Had the done there job and went after Barrack then like they did Clinton these facts and the video would have come out much sooner. I cant see why anyone would support Barrack he is racist and only denies remarks made by his pastor because he wants to save his political status. He is trying only now to distance himself from these comments only and not the pastor who he still calls someone "Who is like a close Uncle". The cats outta the Bag Barrack you are a racist and you cant hide it or try to make it go away by saying your being treated unfairly. Why dont you admit your ties to Farrakan and get it all out in the open once and for all.

Is your threshold for character met by someone who has admitted to a mistake by continuing to contact someone who's under federal investigation but who he'd known for over 10 years by that time and who has admitted that he strongly disagrees with some of what his minister has said in the past (if you attend church, can you name a time when you've completely agreed with your pastor's words?) and who has established a practice of providing as much relevant information as he has available when he understands it himself and who has established a practice of holding himself and his campaign's representatives responsible for their own words and actions.

Or is your threshold for character met by someone who changes her story on an almost daily basis, who's campaign strategist and most visible figure makes statements that are often at best misleading, at worst offensive; who disavows her own public positions ("Shame on you, Barack Obama!"); who has oversold her 35 years of experience with a number of questionable qualifying opportunities; who has made a public effort to devalue the votes and support of more than half of the states that have voted; who has openly sought the votes of pledged delegates to the other candidate; who has demanded the seating of states who's elections she had vowed not to support; who has introduced race as a way of devaluing the other candidate ("Jesse Jackson also won South Carolina") while using gender as a shield and a sword ("You're a misogynist!"); who who has herself not only been in contact with people who were a negative influence but who was often a negative influence herself.

Your call.

My pastor would never endorse a man like Farrakan who thinks that Hitler is a hero. My pastor would never use cuss words in his sermon and my pastor does not advocate that the USA caused aids, deserved 9/ll or any terrorist act. If he ever did, I would not only renounce him immediately but I would never set foot in that church again. I most certainly would never call him my mentor and dedicate a book to him. Furthermore, I would be appalled that my children had heard that kind of racist, anti-American talk in church where they are supposed to learn forgiveness and kindness. If it doesn't disturb you that the President of the United States will be going to a church that talks like that, you are not facing the facts. By the way, the only person who has stolen delegates from another candidate is Obama. Hillary lost pledged delegates to Obama not the other way around but I'm sure that since you cannot face the horrible truth about Obama, you think that is ok.

Still he calls this horrible man his "mentor'? Listen with your head. You may want this man to be a different kind of person but rationalizing his behavior to yourself and others will NOT change his beliefs. If you elect him, you are responsible for what he does. Don't complain when he decides that there are certain people who are not acceptable to exist. If my talk sounds radical, it is preempted by radical behavior by Obama.

A lot of interesting stuff has come out about the mysterious Obama since the Iowa primary. Too bad these people didn't know all the scandalous stuff before they placed their vote. It appears that Obama didn't want his relationships with Rezko and Rev. Wright known.

We owe a Big thank you to the media for researching that for us.

This obviously shows that Obama lacks good judgement. If he won't stand up and defend our nation when a ranting "preacher" insults it, by gosh, he won't have the guts to stand up to Chavez, or any of those other loony dictators in the world.

Wright has unfortunately the power to influence poeples' minds and views, and these sermons are just absolutely wrong even if you are not religious.

I was born into a religion that by the time I was 20 I did research on other religion and the one I was brought up to believe in. I at least know I am confident on my decision whether or not to continue. But for one to be a member for 20 years AND claim they never heard some of his Pastors' sermon like those of Rev Wright's??? is very questionable in my mind.

At first I disregarded Michelle Obama's "proud to be an American" comment as a blunder- an honest to goodness mistake or as they say "taken out of context."- but now I am not so sure......

The first story is at the MSNBC web site at this URL address: (http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2008/02/29/718538.aspx). It states that Hilary Clinton is refusing to return a $170,000 donation from a company that is being prosecuted in court right now because they have been charged of sexually exploiting 103 female employees for a period of several years. So Hillary is taking MONEY from criminals guilty of sexually exploiting 103 woman, but she demanded that Obama reject VERBAL support from Louis Farrakhan for HIS personal beliefs even though Obama repeatedly denounced him (and now the same thing is happening again but this time for his Pastor's comments). But Hillary is taking MONEY from CRIMINALS!!! The second story I read here:

(http://www.worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=56868). It states that Bill and Hillary Clinton are facing a multi-million dollar campaign fraud scandal and will be going to court in California very soon. I have not seen one news channel show this story. WHY??? I initially supported Hillary, but I hesitate to vote for her because the Democrats will never be able to beat McCain in November if our candidate is in court for campaign fraud and corruption.

It is splitting hairs when we talk about association with someone who makes an off racial remark but this is much more disturbing when you consider that Obama, himself has spent 20 years going to this church and calls the racist his mentor and friend and says he will keep going to this church. It appears he been brainwashed into believing this racist baloney and McCain will make a "hayday" of it.

Not a thing about how he will do any of this. Bill Clinton answered questions and told us point by point what Hillary Clinton will do in the case of many problems that we have in America, such as the economy, war in Iraq, health care and global warming. He even answered a heckler's question though the crowd did not think he had to but he wanted everyone to have the answers that they needed. This is why we need Hillary Clinton in the White House, there will be no unanswered questions that effect all of us. The economy and the world will get the help needed. It is obvious that we will not get that help from Obama or McCain.

11- Kathy Ferguson- Ex-wife of Arkansas Trooper Danny Ferguson was found dead in May 1994, in her living room with a gunshot to her head. It was ruled a suicide even though there were several packed suitcases, as if she were going somewhere. Danny Ferguson was a co-defendant along with Bill Clinton in the Paula Jones lawsuit. Kathy Ferguson was a possible corroborating witness for Paula Jones.

12-Bill Shelton - Arkansas State Trooper and fiancé of Kathy Ferguson - Critical of the suicide ruling of his fiancé, he was found dead in June, 1994 of a gunshot wound also ruled a suicide at the grave site of his fiancé.

25-Stanley Huggins - Investigated Madison Guaranty. His death was a purported suicide and his report was never released.

26- Hershell Friday - Attorney and Clinton fund raiser died March 1, 1994 when his plane exploded.

27- Kevin Ives & Don Henry - Known as "The boys on the track" case. Reports say the boys may have stumbled upon the Mena Arkansas airport drug operation. A controversial case, the initial report of death said, due to falling asleep on railroad tracks. Later reports claim the 2 boys had been slain before being placed on the tracks. Many linked to the case died before their testimony could come before a Grand Jury.

THE FOLLOWING PERSONS HAD INFORMATION ON THE IVES/HENRY CASE:

28-Keith Coney - Died when his motorcycle slammed into the back of a truck, 7/88.

29-Keith McMaskle - Died stabbed 113 times, Nov, 1988

30-Gregory Collins - Died from a gunshot wound January 1989.

31-Jeff Rhodes - He was shot, mutilated and found burned in a trash dump in April 1989.

33-James Milan - Found decapitated. However, the Coroner ruled his death was due to "natural causes".

34-Jordan Kettleson - Was found shot to death in the front seat of his pickup truck in June 1990.

35-Richard Winters - A suspect in the Ives / Henry deaths. He was killed in a set-up robbery July 1989.

THE FOLLOWING CLINTON BODYGUARDS ARE DEAD:

36 -Major William S. Barkley Jr.

37-Captain Scott J . Reynolds

38-Sgt. Brian Hanley

39-Sgt. Tim Sabel

40-Major General William Robertson

41-Col. William Densberger

42-Col. Robert Kelly

43-Spec. Gary Rhodes

44-Steve Willis

45-Robert Williams

46-Conway LeBleu

47-Todd McKeehan

Quite an impressive list! I don't know about you, but Hillary has not been vested as far as I'm concerned. Too much of old politics loom over her head along with her husband. She is not running an honorable campaign and therefore is not ready to do anything on day one. Hillary has exagerated her experience to the enth degree which to me is a plain out lie to deceive the public. We don't need anymore of this kinda politics. She is running for personal gain and not for the American people as a whole. Figure it out folks.

That is not preparation or qualification to become a president. Think about what is best for the country rather than worry about an ambitious woman I simply do not trust.

Obama did not cry about racism, it existed and it is still here by a degree, so wake up and smell the roses. The speech was good and it was real, listen to it with an open mind.

He seems quite resentful. His presidential bid should not have been about race, just like Hillary's isn't about being female, but he willingly played that card. Hearing his wife say she's proud of America for the first time and hearing his pastor's point of view it's hard to imagine Obama as a President who will work for all people. I couldn't agree more with Ports stating that the man is quite a cry baby.He was slow to react after the video of his pastor came out, how long will it take him to do damage control once he's in office? I'm seriously disgusted by the media's scrutiny over Hillary, plus the comments that it's time to leave the race.Come election day, if it came down to Obama and McCain, I'd vote republican for the very first time.

Remember the Federalist papers in high school? The tisk that our founding "FATHERS" had about how people could get caught up in the heat of the moment and that is why people have elected officials versus just doing everything by popular vote..

Sometimes I wonder if we should have some sort of test again before people can vote. This isn't a TV show.

This couple thinks they have inallienable right to the presidency of the United States, and will do anything no matter how innordinate to get it. Americans should watch out and not fall into the trap of liars and betrayers. With so many dirty things and relationships the Clintons have worldwide, we are in for unpleasant surprises if the the Clintons could find their way into the Oval Office this time around. We'll soon find ourselves cheering for Chelsea since one of the Clintons hiden desire is having a dynasty obviously out of jealousy for the Bushes.

Good luck America!

POST TURTLE

While suturing a cut on the hand of a 75 year old Texas rancher,

whose hand was caught in a gate while working cattle, the doctor

struck up a conversation with the old man.

Eventually the topic got around to Obama and his bid to be our

President.

The old rancher said, 'Well, ya know, Obama is a'post turtle'.'

Not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked him what a

'post turtle' was.

The old rancher said, 'When you're driving down a country road

and you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top,

that's a 'post turtle'.'

The old rancher saw a puzzled look on the doctor's face, so he

continued to explain. 'You know he didn't get up there by

himself, he doesn't belong up there, he doesn't know what to do

while he is up there, and you just want to help the dumb a$$ get down.'
