The boss is most difinately a voice in America! As is Woody G and Pete S and Joan B and Bob D etc. To say that he is just and entertainer is to diss the very fabric of our nation as a voice to the working class people not only in our country but around the world. What has been disappointing to me about the entertainment industry is that they have had no real stand in the wickedly sick years of the jr's reign. Well that is except for the lame brain entertainers who backed him but are now in full stride, back peddling as fast as they can with excuses abound!

This writer is abviuosly out of touch with the working class people as is Clinton and McCain. Well McCain is another whole ball of wax with additional problems both mentally, physically and polictically

Please excuse me for digressing here....I was listening to NPR (National Public Radio) recently and I heard Obama pronounce that, "One voice can change a room [he pauses and people are cheering.] One voice can change a city (pause, cheering). One voice can change the country and one voice can change the world." The audience were cheering like a chorus of frenzied fans and I pulled into my driveway thinking, this guy is amazing....

Obama is the Black Reagan. But he's a former professor of constitutional law, so he has some cred. The only *** they can throw at him is petty BS. The only reason that the "bittergate" crap has any traction at all is because Feaux News can't get anything to stick to him. And it isn't costing him in PA. He is here and he will win because he is good--and becasue he's running against the weakest field in decades.

Thanks for noticing. You can disrespect me until the cows come home if your wish. But I am not partial to people who wear their service like a crown. As if we are all just second class citizen because we don't.

Someone who was dear to me served honorably and was dissed by the Hamilton Faction when he saught help. As a result of that my family suffered as he did for the rest of his life. My father was an honorable man who served in WWII and never wore his service or his medals as a crown or used it for his own personal gain unlike like Mcain. McCain most difinately has a problem mentally, pysically and politically and hides them from the public using his service as a cloak and a barracade to further debate and investigation.

McCain is of the old world of gunslingers who notch their gun after each kill and follow it up with great embelishment of the story. A true hero is humble and reserved and does not speak of the horrors in which they have faced.They build themself as foundations for the greater majority and fight to prevent anything that has happened to them from happening to any of the ones who are dear to them and their fellow countrymen/women, not grandstand upon their own personal trajedy. They make commitments and stick to them, work out the difficulties politically and personally to the best of their abilities. Unlike McCain who changes his position much like the wind changing direction and severs commitments politically and personally to further himself in his carrer.

I am afraid you will not change my mind about him or any one like him for that matter. I have great respect for our honorable men and women who live and die by the creed/code but have no respect for people who use the service as stepping stones for personal wealth and political fame and gain, like McCain.

Serve yes, with dignity yes, for personal gains at the dimise of others, NO

No one owes anybody anything in this world.

We all know that upon losing our inocence

If he repudiates Hillary's use of his song and backs Obama, Obama wins Indiana in a rout and she's finished. If he backs Hillary, she wins Indiana and moves on.

I couldn't agree more. Obama has presence I haven't seen in politics since Kennedy. He exudes confidence and self assurance. He wowed audiences in Missoula the same way he does everywhere . . honestly, openly and, most importantly,passionately.

Sure, the Springsteen endorsement won't actually cause undecided voters to rush to the polls for Obama, but the article did touch on something that has gotten very little play in this whole "bittergate" controversy. Obama stuck to his principles when he stated he wouldn't go negative, even when he's getting hit on all sides.

When Hillary had her "misstatement" about Bosnia, you didn't see the Obama camp jump on the airwaves with negative ads condeming it. Yet, the Clinton camp couldn't wait to start running spots on TV. I agree with Obama...."shame on you, Hillary, you know better!" It's really sad to see popular Dems like the Clinton's sink to the same low's the right-wing used against them a decade ago!

Is this guy kidding? Back in the late 1970s, early 1980s, I lived on 95th and Columbus in New York City; long before it went chique. I took a subway from 42nd Street to get home after working on Broadway late at night. I walked home from the subway alone. I rode with African Americans, walked down the street past midnight in an area that wasn't near safe, with African Americans walking beside me and behind me. I'm a whitey white Scots-Irish broad and I was never afraid of an African American coming towards me, and never once crossed the street.

Who the hell care who Bruce Springsteen supports? It reminds me of when Caroline Kennedy S. spoke about her support for Obama. Who cares? Neither one of them are super delegates.

Considering the fact that Springsteen's music is all about America and the problems faced by the average working man, I think Bruce's endorsement carries a lot of weight. I live in New Jersey near Bruce, and I can tell you that people here are pretty impressed. And since you asked, my plumber is voting for Obama, even though he listened to right wing talk radio all day long as he worked on my kitchen. Go figure.

Springsteens's has a lot of songs that he's known for. If you're a fan or just like his music, steer away for his sirius channel. Turns out, somewhat like the grateful dead, most of his songs sound the same. Like Bob dylan with a little better voice, most of the time anyway. I wonder if Obama will get him to sing born in the usa, as a referance to mcCain's panama roots. I wonder if Obama will say; i wonder if Bruce expects Barack to call him BOSS?

JIm, I strongly disagree. Obama does have substance and yes, he has accomplished much outside and inside politics. I will print you a list. Also, the Pope has endorsed him. That must count for something.

We really need to discuss our political differences more often, wouldn't you agree?
