Obama and the Country of Doom

Obama spells doom for this country. Not only because of his dubious affiliations with mob members like Rezko and criminals like Auchi, but because of his lack of experience and bias education especially his bizarre religious affiliations. He is like silly putty; able to change his ideas for the public as needed so as to achieve his goal as supreme leader.

His intentions are unclear, but his affiliations are clear. Being surrounded with people like the violent Ayers, or the Hiteresque Wright, or his American hating wife Michelle, or his Kenyan half brother Islamic Jihad terrorist Abongo “Roy” Obama, or his Jewish/Israeli hating best friend Rashid Khalidi, or his close advisor Robert Malley who advocates supporting and helping the terrorist group Hamas, or Mr. McPeaks, Obama’s military advisor who open believes American Jews are the "problem." and “Christian Zionists were driving America's policy in Iraq to benefit Israel,” or Obama’s super delegate and major long term supporter Senator Meeks who openly hates and distrust all whites and gays or Obama’s most dangerous affiliation to Mr. Auchi who was Saddam Hussein right hand man and made billions in Iraq and has been a important supporter and behind the scene man throughout Obama’s rise to power.

And besides all this questionable laundry in Obama’s life, another serious question is why is Obama protected and promoted by the media? Is this also being directed from behind the scenes? The American public has been fooled before and I guess those in power know we can be fooled again. (Kennedy’s assassination, Martin Luther King’s assassination, the invasion of Iraq…).

The fact that Obama has made it this far demonstrates the collective lack of discriminative intelligence and education of this country. And nothing demonstrates this better than how well Obama plays his black card; which plays on our fear of being labeled a racist.

Boys and girls today are not as mature for their age as we were back in the early days They don't have any respect for themselves, their too caught up with the wild life. They say whatever comes into their head. That's the way Obama probably was in his college days. Drugging and boozing and having good times, associating with the underground dogs that were anti-american and I believe a lot of students today do not care about this country or themselves. I am so glad that George and Charlie brought out what Chris Matthews would never do. Chris Matthews supports Obama and hides all the facts about him. But he certainly doesn't do that for Hillary Clinton or McCain.

I wish she had been doing more of that all along and not openly making so many negative attacks. She should have used surrogates to do that, like Obama's campaign does. That's how he's been able to keep his positives as high as they've been. He won't be able to keep it up much longer, but it will probably be long enough to get the nomination. He'll then end up turning outwardly negative himself as he's probably not going to be able to beat McCain in some key states he needs to win. He'll also discover that the press love McCain more than they do him.

Their focus now is to shift any blame from themselves to Hillary, Racists and the Media for the inevitable beating they're going to take in the general Election. In the latest Rasmussen Poll for Florida's head to head contest between McCain and Obama, McCain 53% to Obama's 38 %. A major gaffe in their campaign was to underesimate the Black Base. In an unneeded effort to solify what they already had, they decided to play the race card. The Clintons, their supporters were labeled racist by the Obama Campaign and were supported by Salava Hurling chris mathews, Drooling David Shuster and Little boy chuck todd of MSNBC. The owner of MSNBC must look on spitting and drooling as an attribute. Even Keith Obermann has to stop and swallow occasionally.

Hillary Clinton shows a soft, human side only when her handlers tell her to. She puddled up in New Hampshire and she's hoping it will work in PA too. Hillary fights like a junk yard dog most of the time. From the beginning of her public career, everyone around her has always been in contention. In an administration where she was the president's wife and both the House and Senate were democrat controlled, she couldn't pass her healthcare bill because of her secretive and divisive ways. On April 24,2008 the Clintons have been ordered to appear before the California Superior Court on charges of fraud related to campaign finance involving Peter Paul. You can google or you tube for more info. The Clinton machine has so far kept this from being covered in the press, but this is the first time that a former president and a senator have been prosecuted. As she said, Obama is a good man. Apparently, Pennsylvania thinks so too because the April 18,2008 Rassmussen poll shows that her lead has dropped further to just 3 points. The Zogby poll of yesterday showed a four point lead and earlier in the week others showed 6 points. Barack Obama grew up poor and he cares about regular people deeply. He worked his way through college and had huge school loans to repay, but after college and before law school he worked for next to nothing helping people on the south side of Chicago after the steel mills closed. His Harvard law professor said that Barack was brilliant and could have had any job in America. He chose low wages and helping people with civil rights and voter intimidation. He'll help you too. For those of you who want to bring up Clinton's court case with Peter Paul, please make sure you bring up Obama's court case and the allegations made by Larry Sinclair!!

As far as Clinton's court case-------I have read the court documents and quite honestly, I had a hard time trying to figure out exactly what Hillary and Bill did. I still do not know their alleged roles in the fraud allegation. Also, there are atleast 3-4 people named as defendents!---not just Clinton. I doubt Clinton would be so sloppy as to do something so stupid as to commit fraud during this crucial time particularly with her knowing that the Media and plenty of other people truly dislike her and they would have a field day reporting this- along with knowing that she had her eye on the Presidency! It makes no sense! I strongly question the validity of the case. Also, even if it did get Main Stream Media coverage--SO WHAT! What is it going to change---the Media, republicans and other Anti Clinton people bash them every single day and they already think they are low lifes and crooks------so in the end---what does the knowledge or MSM media reporting on this story going to change!! Who cares if Hillary is going to prison next week. The nomination process is over. Obama has won. He will lose miserably in the General. He's not even winning the head to head matches in Fla. and Ohio. Do you think the RACIST labels he's pinned on all that oppose him will work on McCain when the stadegy only netted him a slight lead in the Popular Primary vote. It won't be about the popular vote in the general Election and he won't win those states in the South that the Black vote won for him in the primary. Hollering that mcCain is a RACIST will succeed in getting McCain atleast 1/4 of the Democratic votes in the key state where the Republican and Democrats are equally distributed.

Hillary Clinton can get hit by lightning and it won't help him. He can blame himself for fueling the division between Black and White and Latino Democratic Voters. If McCain dropped dead and Ron Paul became the nominee Obama couldn't win

In an election where the outgoing Republican President is hated for cooking up evidence to fool the world into supporting the Iraq invasion and directly causing thousands of deaths and the crippling of many, many thousands more, Obama couldn't even put up a good fight against McCain.

To jack3213, I don't think that's true. People vote for those that more closely support those things that you do. The Republicans i work with feel that the Republican's stand for smaller goverment. Others may fell that religous standards are key. Some may feel the right to life or right to choose are key. The President choose the Supreme Court. If you were a right to lifer, would you vote for someone who supports abortion? The race may take the gender or race path, but I think the underlying principles of the party are more likely to influence a voter. My dad always said the Democrats were better for the working man. I thinks thats true even though it not one of my main issues.

To Bella12, I don't think we will be "sucking around" for your vote. . If you are basing your opinion on issues, the two democratic candidates are very similar so by going republican for the first time, you are ultimately changing your views. Which you're free to do. And I don't believe half of what the media says about either of these candidates. I don't believe either are racist or sexist, I believe both would be good for our country. I just believe that Obama feels different. I know he's new and doesn't have that so called experience in washington, but why is that always a bad thing. A president surrounds themselves with smart people. A president is a voice/elected official. I want a voice that seems to speak to me and that's obama. I think Hillary is a very intelligent person but she ran this campaign as though she was owed something and that has left a bad taste in my mouth. I will support her because I like her views as they are similar to Obama. Again, I believe McCain has been a great American but he is far past his prime. Not bring up the age thing, but a person McCains age isn't going to be looking out for my best interest being that a lot of his policies won't effect him in the long run

You can not express disdain and use words that are hard and anger filled in a national debate and then the very next day ACT warm and fuzzy. It is blatant pandering and just too obvious to anyone paying attention. Clinton certainly has many sides to her personality, as do we all, the problem is she is running for President.

To alter your pitch with every event and to act one way on camera versus off camera shows me a person that is playing politics and cannot be trusted plain and simple. If she wants to be trusted then stop ACTING in an untrustworthy manner. Say you do not want to attack him and speak to the issues - just do it. Say you want to change things in WA and do not play the typical, old style games.

Bella, I can't speak for Obama, he'll still be seeking your support. But it seems as though a lot of posts on here are trying to undermine the support for the other side. There have been times when Ive read posts and they've angered me but it just shows there is passion on both sides. And no matter what either of us say or evidence we come up with, we're not going to sway eachothers opinion. And health is an important factor but that is just one of many. I'll give McCain credit for his health plan but he doesn't get a free pass on everything else. Regardless if he is more towards the middle, he is still a republican and will have to pedal republican ideals. George Bush didn't manufacture this mess on his own. If we're going with the guilt by association that has plague this political season, then we have to put McCain the pot with the party that took us to war for no reason and has stood watch over record deficits and a sub par economy. There is no possible way Im voting for that mess again regardless of who is over there

OH BOO HOO. It is unfair to have candidate Obama vetted (well after most of the primaries

have passed.) Why can't ABC just go along with the media holding sway, with that sway being very gentile with Mr.Obama... thats what Fox, NBC, MSNBC did ... why can't ABC just do the

same. How dare anyone treat Mr.Obama on just one occassion the same way as Clinton has

been treated on several occassions. BOO HOO. Heck, I remember Russett asking Clinton a very tough immigration question when nearly out of time in an earlier debate, with the final question going to Mr.Obama...a "teddy bear" question about halloween and the Obama children. Even though Obama's answer to the Clinton question, had he been asked, would have been essentially the same as Clinton's, the media jumped on the chance the follwing day to label the Clinton answer as a "gotcha." Please don't vet Mr.Obama until after he wins the nomination, even if it is too late, we will have already got our guy where we want him, and damn the torpedoes.

You know, even if Obama is the divisive one via jumping the line and making the election about him at a time when the Dems had an unfettered path back into the White House, lets be very careful about vetting him. If we can keep the divisiveness among black, hispanic, and white,

we may see that the Democratic leadership needs an overhaul. You are familiar with the

leadership that fosters such a convoluted primary syatem that a candidate can win a

state and still receive fewer delegates; a system that, If used by the Republicans would mean

that their primary races too would still be going on. If Obama can just hang in there until he is

the party candidate in the general election we can ... oh, wait... they do apportion votes in the general election too, don't they...because, if they don't, it would be, state-by-state, winner

take all. Maybe I said that poorly, because if I factor in Calif., New York, Ohio, et al, it would

be more like loser lose all, woulnd't it ? I would hate to put Fla.apathy into the mix, I hate

ugliness. It is not important to win the general election, it is not important to believe you can

stand outside the poitical system and change that system not from within (Obama in neither experienced enough or networked enough) but from fine-crafting words, it is not important to ignore not just one man's divisivness,. but to ignore the party leadership's rampant divisivness

via their lack of true political skill and personal special interests, no, none of that is important because this is not about any of that, it is about Obama, that is why he jumped the line.

Clinton could help her cause by joining the KKK, giving the Grand Dragon a hug, then

'disassociating' when it is politically expedient to do so.... we'll all forgive her, yes ? Obama

had a STRONG 20 yr.relationship with Rev.Wright, if it wasn't outed, it would still be going on.

I don't really know why he 'ended' it just because he is running for President, after all, Wright

didn't change, Obama didn't change, what was the basis of 'ending' it? Mr.Obama calls

now a "defining moment in our history" and, with Bush succeded by Mr.Obama or Mr.

McCain, we can define it as a lost opportunity in a very short time. But, this is not about

that, this is about accepting the idea that "G.D. America" can be rendered 'old news' and that

we all should accept that it is acceptable to explain it away ... this is ONLY ABOUT OBAMA.

I saw the recent Hillary video on youtube. Plain as day in 96 she is at a Pro-NAFTA rally pushing for NAFTA'a passage. How is it she was against NAFTA? Hillary is alot like George Bush where she says one thing and roll the tape... History shows she is lying on a continuous pace. frankly I am dissapointed Obama has not been hitting her harder on this continuous lying.The shoe fits. Hillary will say or do anything to win. That is not being a tough, strong leader. It's being a pathetic person. I won't vote for McCain unless he backs off his iraq position. So if Obama not the nominee I will just leave president box blank. If you are democrat and feel the opposite. Don't vote for McCain. Just leave President box blank or vote for another candidate.

Hollyroller I am no Obama worshipper. But I am 44-male and I would be willing to wager that if we ever met I could more than hold my ability to debate with you why Obama is a better candidate than Hillary. Hillary is just outright lying at this point in campaign. I am talking about her comments about NAFTA. Go to youtube and see what she said about NAFTA in 96. After the bitter comments her trying to persuade voters she is a big 2nd amendment defender. Bill for years stood up to NRA and got laws like the assault gun ban passed. Her refuting the Columbian trade deal when Bill and her recieved $300,000. You cannot have it both ways. Instead of defending a position that she is criticized for. Hillary turns around and says she is actually for the new popular position. It's almost schizofrentic.

proved it did not take alot to throw Barrack off his game .While she has been more or less consistant.The O doesn't seem to be able to handle the heat of a debate in which he is not given the pass.

The day after tells alot Barrack is not his old self and one must wonder how far this damaged candidate will fall and will the Kery Kenedy Dean element of the democratic party open their eyes and let all the votes count in Florida.

To painta picture of contrast the Hillster was on top of her game and she ceretinally does have game.

Not as Bad as You Think ... maybe worse! She turns it on and off like a water faucet ... maybe she will even shed a tear for us today. Sincerity requires consistency and the only thing that Hillary has been consistent at is ... saying and doing anything, without conscience or hesitation, with it being whatever she feels will help her. She has lied (Bosnia +), she has faked (tears +), she has cried and whined (media picking on her +), she has changed her story (at will +) and so on, always assuming it is her privilege and that people just won't notice. That is really insulting! Bill & Hillary both are faulting Baracks supporters (Barack himself isn't doing any of it) for whining about the the unfair treatment he received in the debate yet they conveniently forget all of the whining they have been doing for months, over the media, the DNC, and on and on ... poor Hillary. That is really a lot of garbage and if they get away with it, that would be a real shame ... for the Democrats and for the country.

Do you believe that most politicians today have never changed their beliefs or directives? Yes, of course she has had many changes because she has been doing this for so much longer than Obama. I don't believe that we are in a position today to raise a president. We need a full grown, experienced president which can get us out of this mess.

I'd like to know where are your sources to assert that Hillary Clinton is "often depicted as America's Iron Lady"? That is an insult to Margaret Thatcher, the REAL Iron Lady. Margaret Thatcher always was straightforward in what she said, did, and wrote. She never took refuge in her gender when attacked or claimed "victimhood". Clinton is the exact opposite of Thatcher. Unlike Thatcher, Clinton has a problem telling the truth and resorts to the worst stereotypical female tactics when the going gets tough. The candidates agreed not to campaign and agreed beforehand that the votes would not be counted. Obama was not even on the ballot inMichigan. If DNC wants to do a revote then go ahead. But all the candidates agreed to this issue. Now Hillary as is her pattern decides she is a fighter for these uncounted voters. Oh and she benefits. What a joke. It's always a popularity contest. The reason we won't have a female president is because it's still a society with majority of self hating, low self-esteem women - who's judging Hillary by "I don't like the way she smile" "I don't trust her"(with no substantiating reasoning) "she's too tough, negative, blah..." as if they're talking about the American Idol. She's being judged by the superficial reasons and not her experience, contribution, and vision. Rather, they have the dreamy fantasy on a good looking, well-spoken young man, who can give them "hope." This is not voting for a princess or prince, honey, this is not romance novel. It's real life. The family of 5 cannot eat hope at their dining table, and hope cannot pay their insurance bill. The real hope is someone with ability and experience to fix all the mess.

I have been following this campaign from the beginning, and I was a big Hillary fan. Now I am all for Obama. He just came out of nowhere! I am so inspired and touched by his speeches. I had the chance to go and see him in South Bend, IN., and he was just as I expected: Fantastic! I also took a cousin with me who was a Hillary fan - no more. She is a now an Obama voter. The lies that I have heard from the Clinton campaign are just that and not embellishments as some peole have said. Bosnia! Just admit you lied. I loved Bill Clinton, but he also lied about his affair with Monica. Is this what the Clintons are all about? If she is going to be a change for this country then the lying must come to an end. Obama has had some negative issues come his way, but he has not been shaken. His approval rating with the people has not changed. He is the change this country needs. If the people want experience then get ready to return to the same old politics with Hillary. However, if this country is ready for a change then vote Obama. He said it won't be easy, and it won't. There is a huge mess for the next president to clean up, and I feel that Barack can unite this country and its people and get the job done.

Look, neither candidate is perfect. I am a Clinton supporter...not based on her personality

or on any factor other than knowing that her political networking can effect change, and

her political experience in knowing that she is well aware that the much-needed change

can only come about within the political system. Mr.Obama's theme of "change you can

believe in" comes about by throwing out the baby with the bath water ... thought

through, does anyone really think all of Washington will 'stand down' or 'do as I say'

upon the command of a President Obama ? Obama's impact, message aside, is

"change I would like to see happen, so would you, but I can't overcome the inertia,

but thanks anyway, for believing in me when I told you to 'just believe.' " Clinton

does some mighty dumb things but, on balance, she is the better candidate and

the better choice over Obama and McCain. Clinton is not perfect, but "Obama

is perfect" is not a counterpoint. Mr.Obama cannot win the general election....if

he is the party candidate, will he have let you down by not winning ? Not likely,

it will be more of a case that you let yourself down by 'just believing.' Some have

the attitude that "even if that is the case, I'll take my chances." Please consider

"taking your opportunity" over "taking your chances" ... because, when all is

said and done ,it is about you, and 'just believing' aside, it is not just about Obama.

While reading the comments, I agree the Clintons continue to hit new lows. I lost respect for Bill and Hillary years ago, and I am dumbfounded that so many Americans have either forgotten or don't care about their lack of integrity and values. Bill and Hillary BOTH lied to Americans about his extra-marital affairs. Neither of them were honest then, and still continue to lie about other things as well. It took alot of taxpayers' money to finally find out the truth about Bill and Monica. Had there not been a persistent investigation, the American public would never have found out the truth. Hillary knew what was going on during that time and during the investigation, yet she along with her husband lied. Not the type of president I would ever vote for, and I just hope most Americans realize this before going the polls.

The most fascinating part of this whole campaign, is the fact that she still has any support left whatsoever. I remember the fun, games and B.S. they both pulled back in the 90s. If you weren't around then, or don't remember, what they are doing now is EXACTLY what they did then. It is absolutely incredible to me that they have not changed one iota and people are still buying their crap. It really is a sad commentary on the level of intelligence in this country.

Oh, by the way - to the feminists and the women who insist that we must have a female president "RIGHT NOW," think about this carefully. She almost positively will not get the nomination and her scortched earth policy, lies, deceit and B**tchiness, will only make the path that much harder when a legitimate, intelligent and honest woman does emerge seeking the presidency in the future. No one ever questioned Obama's patriotism until the Clinton sleeze machine started up and then the allegation was mysteriously everywhere. Is Obama supporting terrorism? Not to my knowledge, but to see some of these posts you would swear to God he was. Has he disgraced the flag or undermined armed forces or sold secrets to the Chinese? This is news to me but apparently the Clintnistas have irrefutable proof - somewhere.

If we are truly judging a presidential candidate on the basis of his wearing a flag pin or not, God help us all....

RE - Rustomji84 - just a theory - part of it is probably racial, although they would never admit this. I think the larger problem they are having is Obama derailed the coronation of "Her Royal Highness, Hillary I." Edwards was seen as the larger threat, so they ignored Obama because of their arrogance, pride and their sense that her victory was a guaranteed certainty - who was this Obama guy, anyway?

Once people began to listen to Obama and buy into his message, while simultaneously discarding her BS, her supporters began to panic and throw every conceivable thing they can think of to try and stop him.

Obama was the first time is being in the position in which media didn't stay in his side and right way everybody including CNBC and CNN are throughing very bitterness for ABC. As we know Obama is not ahead of Clinton because he has a better economicall or health care plan than her but because media is portrayting Hillary as dishonest person almost everday in their channel news. One time Obama gat a fair question from moderates and he shows his weakness.He didn't know what to say. He may be lucky because there is not much time left in D-primary for much change that needed for Hillary. He may win the nomination but I'll bet everything that I have that he will loose the general election and the reason I said so is because is not strong enough to handle GOP machines attacks like his supporter J Kerry. Hillary has no one to blame but herself.

I can respond why I'm angry with Obama - now! I didn’t used to be.

I used to like this guy and I still can see his appeal. He’s savvy, cool, charismatic and he talks to people on a level they can relate to. He’s a very smart man. He has ingratiated himself with the American public and they feel like he is one of them. This is exactly what has gotten him so far in his life - his ability to relate to people and his charisma. JFK had this same type of charisma – the reason why Obama is often compared to him.

The reason why I’m really starting to dislike this guy – hate is much too strong a word – is because I feel he is duping the American people – especially our youth! He is convincing our youth – who have NO experience with previous elections and how our political system works – into believing that he can change their lives and their problems by changing Washington. He is all smoke and mirrors and there is nothing tangible that he has spoken about or anything in his credentials that tells me he can do anything that he says he can. We are going to have a lot of very disillusioned and “disenfranchised” youth if the man ever makes it to office.

The other thing that bothers me about him is that he hides behind his campaign. His campaign has been slinging dirt all along and Obama is careful not to say anything himself – until just recently. He should be called “Oily Obama” because nothing sticks to him. He even blamed his campaign for keeping the Bosnia story alive and that it wasn’t him (his words at the debate on Wednesday). Well, who the hell is his campaign if it isn’t him? There isn’t a third person running in this election called “Obama’s campaign”. He tries to pretend that he isn’t going to stoop to politics as usual and then he stands on a stage and makes fun of Hillary Clinton calling her Annie Oakley. What do you think would happen if Hillary made fun of him? I think you all know exactly what would happen to her because it’s been happening this entire election – she would be beat up mercilessly by the press and Obamas “campaign” would be in the background feeding the flames.

Let’s face it, both of these candidates have pretty similar policies and agendas which are really the Democratic agendas. I had to ask myself who is the better qualified person to deliver for the party. And there is no question in my mind that it is Clinton. She is a fighter and one of the smartest, organized and decisive leaders I’ve ever seen. She would/will make a tremendous President. I think Obama would find himself in office and run up against the Republican machine and not get anything done. I think he is all talk.

And I am one of those people who will never vote for Obama. He is way to left-wing liberal to get anything done in Washington and I don’t feel he has the experience to be in the WH. Even JFK had 14 years in Washington before running for President. I would much rather see John McCain as POTUS if that is my choice.

Lastly, I can ask the same question about Obama supporters. Why are they so angry at Clinton? I have never heard one good argument against her. I don’t think she is untrustworthy and I don’t think she’s a liar. All politicians make up stories and tell you what you want to hear. Obama has done the same thing.

First, Obama was the underdog in this race from day 1. Every single article, post, blog, report and interview that I read had it in the bag for her highness - all wrapped up by early February - capisce?

Second, Hillary is unusually dishonest, as is Bill - these are undeniable facts and even their supporters, if they have a shred of honesty themselves will agree with this assessment. They have both been caught repeatedly in lies for years - so much so, that I genuinely think they may have a psychiatric deficit here - ok?

Third, even though I do support Obama, the "debate" questions were not in the least bit fair, or even related to anything that I was interested in - Fifteen minutes on a G-damn flag pin???!! Are you serious?? The Rev Wright stuff?? It's over - OK?? If his explanations were not sufficient for you three weeks ago, they never will be and you never had any intention of voting for him either - OK - just be honest, can you? Wright = Dead Issue - OK?? Notice how Obama did not bring up the Bosnian sniper LIE, when he easily could have? No one cares about these things except the truly desperate and mentally challenged - they are NOT factors that any sane person would choose a candidate on.

Fourth - you Clintonistas will not stop bringing up the general election, as if you all have a crystal ball or are on the psychic hotline. The truth is, no one can predict who will or will not win against McCain in the fall. But based on her excessive baggage, lies, scandals, back room deals (and her "colorful" husband), her highness has much, much more to overcome than Obama does. In fact, I am seeing a growing momentum for Obama that, I very strongly suspect, will overwhelm McCain easily in the general election

He was a brutal dictator, a liar, a ruthless opportunist, a thief, and murderer - a truly hideous human being. But he was able to engender some underlying mindless loyalty from many of his followers (much like the Clintons, today!!). He even imprisoned, tortured and executed many of his followers OWN relatives and still, they sang his praises day after day. He called these unfortunates - "my helpful fools." (You can look this up if you would like - it's in most world history textbooks).

Even with all of the historical evidence, facts, testimonies and reports of what the really Clintons are - beyond any reasonable doubt whatsoever, we still have their "helpful fools." I guess the impeachment, Monica Lewinsky, Gennifer Flowers, Bosnian sniper, Nafta yes/Nafta no, Iraq war yes/Iraq war no, Foster "suicide," Travelgate, Whitewater, Columbian trade deal, Uranium deal, what is it now, "50 years of presidential experience??" etc. etc I guess these are all, figments of our collective imagination - right?

Most "organized" leader you've ever seen? Give me a break. Hillary was forced to donate $5 million of her own money just to keep it afloat, meanwhile she can't even afford to pay her bills on the campaign trail, including states from many months ago. Her campaign staff has seen in-fighting throughout this race, with her own chief strategical adviser Penn being forced to step down due to a huge conflict of interest with her own campaign concerning the Columbia trade deals.

Decisive? She can hardly decide her own public image. One day she talks about how honored she is to be in this race with Obama. The very next day, she lashes out at him with "Shame you Obama". Just a few weeks ago, she was suggesting that Obama "couldn't win in the general election". Now she answers "yes, yes, yes".

Superdelegates are coming in droves for Obama everyday and some are even leaving the Clintons.

Open your eyes to the truth. But since you said "never", I guess I was just wasting my time after all.

You are correct, her maintainance of the "marriage" was done entirely to sustain her political aspirations. This is one of my greatest indictments against her. A woman of substance, honor, integrity and character, would have kicked his ass to the curb years ago. Lewinsky was not his first "mistake" and she knew full well it would not be his last.

You can tell a great deal about someone's character in how they act in situations such as this. In my mind, her actions only serve to prove that she, like Billy, is ethically bankrupt, dishonest and conniving. Not someone I would want leading this country.

Oh I remember, I love the one about his poor single white mother raising him alone when all the sources tell you he went to private schools and was raised by his rich grandparents.

The point I was trying to make (which obviously was beyond you) was that I believe that Obama is running a marketing campaign about change that is not reality and people, especially our youth, are buying into it. I think they are going to be very disillusioned. I live in Washington, DC and I have been around this town for 30 years. I know what goes on her outside of the Capital building and the Washington Insider network. It is how things are done and anyone who thinks he can come in and change things and anyone who believes that he will need to face reality.

Obviously, you think everyone who is not supporting your candidate is an idiot but I try not to treat people that way. I have read and watched and educated myself for quite a while now. Just because I support Clinton does not make me stupid. I obviously have my reasons for supporting her and I don't believe in a lot of the crap in the media and on these blogs that people are saying about her.

But I will tell you one thing and you can find this out if you spend somet ime researching. She is very well thought of in congress and she has a track record of working well with and being respected by both Democrats and Republicans alike. There is a lot of very good, positives about Hillary Clinton that you don't hear about and obviously you have closed your mind to so I'm not even going to bother.

Have you ever been out to savagepolitics.com? There is a very interesting article on what an Obama presidency might be like. It's interesting that Deval Patrick, John Kerry, AND Ted Kennedy are all very outspoken Obama supporters but Clinton swept Massachusetts. Obviously they weren't too happy with Deval after he got in office and I believe that Obama is running on the same kind of platform.

I'm not blind and I'm not pretending that I haven't heard all the stories about the Clintons and I agree that Bill Clinton is a snake. I also know that the Clintons were very damaged by the Ken Starr Whitewater investigation that went on forever and cost us the taxpayers over $10 million dollars. NO evidence of wrongdoing was ever found about Whitewater. As a matter of fact, a good friend of the Clintons, Susan McDougell, went to jail rather than talk to Ken Starr. That's loyality or maybe Bill was sleeping with her too.....He must be some kinda man!

We're not casting for the perfect presidential candidate here - that's an exercise in insanity. Based on what I know of the Clintons (facts) and what I know of Obama (facts), Obama is lightyears away from the desperation, scandals and corruption of the Clintons. For me, the choice is a no-brainer.

Because "no evidence of wrongdoing was ever found," means what? Do you really think that all of the bad guys always get caught and go to jail? It just amazes me that people can evaluate the Clinton's vile record and then say - "so - what?"

Suppose, just suppose, that Obama really is what he says he is and what many people think he is. Can we afford to pass on him? I don't care what his pastor says or said. My priest has said things that I reject out of hand - am I a bad person because I still go to Mass?

The point is, no one can predict what anyone's presidency is like - it's all speculation. But we do

Obviously there is a lot of people that do not understand there are differnt types of marraige. There is the physical relationship which often does not survive for the long run. It just takes more than that. Then there are those marraiges that have a deep comraderie that goes beyond the physical. It is 2 people that have a kindred spirit and a personal knowledge of each other that transcends all that life can throw at you. This is the kind of marraige that the Clinton's have and it will last until death do they part. Not everyone is lucky enough to find that someone that is often called a "soul mate". I can tell there is people that do not understand that because of the posts I read here. This is a run for the office of the Presidency of the US. Not a personality contest. Good or bad, we know what the Clintons have done for this country. Now what do we know that O'Bama has done for us that will back up his "words"? And whom would be the best First Lady or in this case First man? Especially since our World relationships are now so much a part of the welfare of the United States of America. I wish we could take a poll from the leaders of the rest of the world. I know they have an opinion & I would like to hear it.

Once that happens, the supporters of the other candidate will need to assess the situation and decide who they want to support. Are they embittered enough by losing that they'll support the Republican nominee or coalesce behind the nominee of the party their candidate (most likely Hillary) represents in the Senate?

For me, the main question is this - which candidate best represents the policies I'd like to see in place in Washington and the political strategies and tactics used to put those policies into place? I've supported Obama because, to me, he stands for the policies and the process changes I want - including a larger Democratic majority in the country to force these changes.

Again, that's only my perspective. If you think that John McCain is the better bet to put in place policies, and process changes, you want then you should go ahead and vote for him. And as the Iraq (civil) war drags on, health care costs continue rise and access falls, throughout a McCain presidency, you can comfort yourself with the fact that at least Obama wasn't the president. Of course, I heard from plenty of Republicans after 9/11 that "we are so lucky not to have Gore as President" - don't hear much of that from those folks today.

There's an old saying that the perfect shouldn't be the enemy of the good. If both Clinton and Obama supporters truly believe in a more progressive agenda, they'll both need to step back from the current acrimony and take a hard look at what they want to accomplish. Voting for McCain doesn't seem - to me - to move that agenda forward at all.

P.S. You asked why some Obama supporters are angry

I've always thought I could support Hillary if she became the nominee - and would still support her today. When she announced that she and McCain were the only remaining candidates to pass the "Commander in Chief threshold", I thought she stepped over a line and it angered me. She can make whatever comparisons she wants between her and Obama as they fight for the Democratic nomination, but I'd prefer she show some minimal loyalty to her party when discussing the opposing party's nominee.

Re your other points - Obama is half black/half white. I'm pretty sure this is true, in fact, I think even Hillary is down with this. It strikes me as improbable at best, that he is a racist. He has discounted and rejected Wright's comments, so I don't know how much more he can do here. If you are still not satisfied re these things, then likely you never will be and no amount of what he does will redirect your thinking.

Re Ayers, not sure there is any real "connection" here, but undoubtedly, the Clinton campaign will run this into the ground as they did with his bitter remarks.

Re Farrakkan (sp?) he has publically denounced and repudiated him as well - in fact, there is vidoetape of him doing this in one of the debates with HRC - not sure how you missed that one.

Please, please, please don't get me started on the Clintons regarding corrupt friends, shady deals (can anyone say - "buying pardons for $100,000, Alex?"), lying, payments, etc., etc.

Here we go again getting confused on which Hillary we are supposed to like and support: the tender, sometimes emotional woman or the pittbull-like fierce fighter who was designed to tear down McCain in September? I though that the latter was gone with Mark Penn, then I saw her in Philadelphia on Wesdnesday.

I also thought that we were about to witness a flurry of "kitchen sink" attacks as the primary day approaches, since that policy worked so well in TX and OH, two other big must win states. Am I going to be proven wrong, or is something slowly but surely simmering in the kitchen somewhere?

If you check the Treasury Dept. site "debt to the penny" concerning the national debt, you will find that the Clinton years added one more trillion and a few more billion dollars to the national debt. Then compare the federal tax rates on the lowest wage earners ($30,000 and under) in 2000 and 2007 and you will find that taxes were steep in 2000 - (not the way to end poverty).

Seems to me that it was people in computer technology who were doing good for a few years in the 90's until that went busted around 1999 or 2000. I remember when a friend of mine lost a lot on the stock market around that time when the computer - related stocks crashed. And the country was in a recession when Bill Clinton left office.

So, if you don't base your opinions on actual facts or knowledge gained by valid personal experience, then you are the worst kind of idiot, even worse than the treasonous Clintons.

The economy is an extremely complex animal. In fact, the mathematical models that economists use to study it have literally tens of thousands of variables and even then, they cannot accurately predict what it will do or when it will do it. One thing that is known is that it moves in cycles -up/down/up/down, just like waves in the ocean. No one, not Obama, Bush, Clinton, McCain can "make it" do something - ok? The Clintons DID NOT give us prosperity. I know they take credit for it (wow! surprise), but they simply caught a "high cycle" - nothing more, nothing less. Well besides being a leader in the movement to boycott Israel, DubaiHong Kong" of the Arab world. and major commerce and shipping point for the "business-side" of terrorism. Bill and Hilary are major friends of Dubai, to the point where the Clinton Foundation have established Dubai Study departments in universities in the US and London. They worked hard at granting legitimacy to this Jew-hating, terrorist supporting nation."

Hill continues to delude herself that she will get her coronation at Denver

and so she is going to plod on with her campaign. I think Hill is not only

suffering from congenital lying, she is also suffering from an illusion of

grandeur of the Clinton name. No wonder, she keeps harping on how great Bill's

reign was and wants to take the country back to that era. Apparently, the

voters do not share her views and have consistently rejected her despite the

early claim of inevitability. As we approach the finish line, everybody have

already came to conclude that she will end up in 2nd place, but she wants the

result be overturned and make her the winner, because she believes she is the

strongest among contestants. If that were her mindset, why do we have an

Olympic trials for our athletes, instead of just relying on perceived

performance strength ? With that kind of mindset, I really doubt her level of

smartness as most people perceived her to have. A smart person knows what a

phony argument is and won't try to sell it to the public as if she can

condescendingly fool all the public.

In 1992, I voted for Bill Clinton, although I disliked him as a person. In 2000, I liked George Bush as a person but I voted for Al Gore. This year, Hillary Clinton is a big turnoff for me because she sounds arrogant, look fierce and almost inhuman, and acts so unwomanly that it is plainly menacing to a guy like me. But I decided to support her rather than Obama or McCain. I base my voting choice on what is best for the national interest, not some narrow personal sentiments.

In 1992, I knew Bill Clinton to be a womanizer, but I also knew he was brilliant. He has proven to be extremely capable in terms of managing our economy, paying down the debt, reforming welfare to the envy of Republicans, and keeping us from stupid wars. He ordered a few cruise missiles to level the Al Quaeda training camps in Afghanistan and Sudan in the midst of his impeachments in August 1998 - and everybody thought he was trying to deflect attention.

In 2000, I shared the sentiments of a lot of voters that George Bush was the more likable person, somebody whom you can have a few beers with in a bar just barely after 2 minutes of acquaintance. I disliked Al Gore's professor-like talks. But I voted for him because I knew he had more brain than George Bush. How many of us now wish we had only invited Bush to a drink rather than voted him into office?

This year, the monster-like Hillary Clinton is my choice for president. On policy matters, she can quote half a manual without any hesitancy. She would be feared by tyrants and dictators. She is the kind of person who can lead the rest of the Free World and command the respect of even our enemies. Remember, the US President is not someone whom you work with or talk to on an everyday basis. You certainly do not sleep with that person, either, and should not judge him/her as if this was your spouse. You do not have to like him/her before this person can rescue this nation from the current rock bottom.

Contrast those qualities with her competitors who mix up Shiites with Sunnis or who deliver their domestic and foreign policy positions as if they had just rehearsed the speech two hours ago after being tutored by some Ivy-league professors.

So many of us are also turned off by her vote to authorize Bush to invade Iraq. How many of us realize that US Presidents are in the habit of misleading Congress or have never shared complete intelligence with Congress? Just like LBJ who led ALL members of Congress except one lone dissenter (among 535) to sign onto the Tonkin Gulf Resolution authorizing the use of unrestrained force against North Vietnam in 1964, Bush followed this “glorious” tradition. My hunch is, if Obama had already been elected into the Senate in 2003, he would have voted the same after reading the extremely menacing national security intelligence reports. It was just a little more than a year after thousands perished in the twin towers that got leveled by terrorists. If you were a Senator given this presidential intelligence report that Iraq was harboring weapons of mass destruction, would you have rather risked a few million American lives in the belief that your lone judgment was better than an army of foreign service, CIA, and military intelligence officers whom you did not command? In that context in early 2003, only when you were NOT in a leadership position in the federal government, in which Obama found himself, that you could afford to make fanciful arguments against that intelligence report.

Couple of points - I spontaneously reject the argument that the Clintons (either of them), are "brilliant." Their consistently poor history of actions and explanations cogently argue away from this possibility. Truly brilliant people do not continually find themselves behind the curve in understanding the values and mores of the public, offering logically flawed excuses for their behaviors and relentlessly antagonizing the very people they need to cooperate with to achieve change. And yet, as relentlessly as night follows day, this is where we find the Clintons.

Re the economy, I've posted on this misconception before but lets revisit it again because the Clintons performance here has become a particularly durable lie and sadly, is neither supported by the facts nor has any basis whatsoever in traditional economic science. The economy runs in up/down cycles - the mathematical models that attempt to explain its behavior easily run into the tens of thousands of variables and even then, cannot fully describe or predict its behavior. No one, not the Clintons, Bush, Obama, McCain or candidate "x" can influence it. The expectation that there is a "magic button" that a president can push and have an impact on the economy is a charming fairy tale for children and the uneducated. Yet, the Clintons without fail, trumpet their purported positive "effect" on the economy. Bill caught a high cycle in the economy, no more no less.

I would also disagree that "she would be feared by tyrants and dictators and command the respect of even our enemies of our enemies." This statement is based on exactly what factual or logical elements that we have seen her display to date? Her crying fits? Her consistent dishonesty and apparent severe character flaws? Her lack of integrity and consistent flip-flopping? I sincerely doubt that bin Laden, Kim Il Sung or the Iran hierarchy would be terrified by someone exhibiting these dimensions.

Electability is not just about "liking" someone or not and I guess this is where I am still confused re Clinton supporters. My discomfort with and subsequent rejection of the Clintons stems from their vile core of excessive and lethal character flaws. If this election were for dogcatcher of Bugass, Kansas, I would agree - who cares if she is a liar, shameless opportunist, ethically challenged, etc., etc. It's of no consequence. This unfortunately, is not the reality. Because she has memorized a policy manual means what, exactly? I personally know people who have memorized the bible but are not Christian or even moral, for that matter. Regurgitating information is an amusing parlor trick but sadly will not offset her various and numerous deficiencies.

I guess if you want more of the same - their scandals of the 90s, the backroom deals, impeachment (and the costs and global reputation that we lost), the rise of terrorism (My theory here? If Bill had pursued bin Laden with the same vigor and intensity that he pursued women for BJs, September 11th would be just another day in America), maintaining the current status quo – then, I guess vote for Hillary.

But if you are tired of the nonsense, same old, same old, really want a change in how we operate as a country, really want to move forward as a nation and in the global arena – then Obama really is the only logical choice.

According to Cokie Roberts, Obama's anti-establishment rhetoric to "clean-up" Washington establishment makes no sense, because OBAMA wants to be the KING of the establishment. Besides, Washington works in the manner that it does because of the checks and balances that were set up by our founding fathers. According to George Will, Obama's economic plan to tax the middle class who are making $100,000 to 200,000, is poor public policy, sheer folly that will impact upon school teachers, policemen and blue collar workers. Will claims Obama has no clue about what he is talking about when it comes to economic policy. The campaign media are deaf to Obama's distorted message, because they want to continue hammering, and hammering away at Senator Hillary Clinton who wants to talk about the economy and changing Bush's policies. The word that best describes this is misogyny. Look at history - no voting - no owning land - the property of men (father or husband) - not allowed to attend schools - lower wages - not allowed to attend universities. Write Obama's Name on Ballot if Clinton Steals Nomination

If Hillary Clinton steals the Democratic nomination from Obama, I will not vote for her or John McCain. I feel strongly about voting because people died so that we could have the right to vote; however, I cannot in good conscience vote for Clinton or McCain. Early during the primary season, I was okay with Clinton or Obama winning; however, the prolonged fight, increased negativity, and dirty tactics have soured my opinion of Hillary Clinton.

I don’t trust her now, so how can I trust her as president? I’m a registered Democrat. I used to be an Independent until I realized in Florida you had to belong to a particular party to participate in primaries. Her kitchen sink strategy and determination to muddy Barack Obama beyond repair for the General Election is too much.

Obama claims the Teamsters need less oversight (The Wall Street Journal, 5/5/08). Now this probably means nothing to young voters and people who don't know their history, but it is raising red flags for many of us. Hoffa and the Obama camp agreed upon less oversight during discussion to end the government regulation prior to the Union endorsing Obama.

Obama (president wanna-be) + Hoffa (Teamsters) - government oversight = corruption

Secondly, Obama tries to brush off his close relationships with the Ayers, by saying that he was only eight.

People must understand that the Weatherman Underground gunned down Boston Police Detective Officer Walter Schroeder outside a Brighton bank on Sept.23, 1970. Schroeder was shot in the back. He left behind a wife and nine children ,aged 17,15,13,10,9,7,6,2, and 11 months. Katharine Powers drove the get-away car and was on the lam for 23 years before getting caught and then treated with the same despicable reverence that Obama's friend Ayers has been given by the media. Ayers and his wife Bernadine Dohrn, like Powers, went underground as fugitives after a bomb-making factory blew up on a residential Manhattan block, killing three people.

Obama claims history doesn't matter, and Bush simply didn't know history. So, what is the difference?

The disclosure of Obama's twenty year commitment to Wright's Chicago church is difficult to explain, but disclosure of his past in the Wall Street Journal (4/21) article may shed some light on this man's burning ambition and carefully crafted political career that included membership with the large mainly black congregation of Pastor Wright. His past is a trail of higher ambition, lies and nefarious political tricks, and more lies mixed with poor judgment.

According to Pastor Wright, Obama will say what is ever necessary to win this campaign. Those may be the truest words that come out of Pastor Wright's mouth.
