This is just a synopsys of the Republican tactics. They will bring anything out sid ethe issues that concerns most of the American people. The Democratic party should be well aware of these nasty politics driven by the Republicans. If Obama to be the nominee of the Democratic party the slew of these negetivity will be on the air polluting the image of Obama as a racist or for that matter weak on crime as they had used against Michael Dukakis in 1988.

In these instances what do you do? You or the American people ought to stand united and nominate a candidate who can withstand these types of barrage of negetive Ads rather than Hillary Clinton. She can counter the Republicans tricks by showing that she is not only strong in fighting crime and also a uniter at the end of the day. Again, let the people decide about who is more electable in the general election against the Rebulican and John McCain? I will let the people and the super delegate to dwell on that and decide. I have every reason to believe that Hillary Clinton will be the best choice for the general election defeating John McCain.

Good points, Romano. Most of us would have never known anything about these ads were it not for MSM. Also, I do think its calculating on the part of McCain...

For those who think (like Dartay) that Obama will hinder the Democratic party if he is the nominee because of these types of ads, I wonder what you think the Republicans will try wih HClinton. They've been waiting on her...

The MSM is losing more viewers every day because of the types of coverage you sight. The only way it will stop is for them to take in the pocketbook. I refuse to listen to this crap any further and have now reduced my TV to the one hour of Keith Olbermann. Others will follow and eventually the MSM will pay. I find their coverage to assume we viewers are all as stupid as they appear to be and need them to tell us how to view and react. I am tired of having my intelligence insulted by these idiots. Thank heavens for Barack Obama who assumes we are intelligent adults rather than stupid sheep. Will we prove him wrong about us?

There is no doubt that any time the media gives air time or print to fringe, hate, or other groups whose only purpose is to promote biased non truthful innuendo, then these groups have won the battle. The question for Chris Matthews, Wolf Blitzer and others is whether what they decide to talk about is really news. They both knew that this trash was produced to exploit the news media, and yet they just had to have their say. Neither of them had Senator Obama on to discuss the nature of the ad, so all the viewers get is a story told by one side with no answer frrom the person it assaulted. The news media says they are just doing their job. They have not done their job since George W. Bush was elected and took us into a false and preemptive war. Why would anyone believe the media is doing their job?

What shocks me is "how suprised" Obamaniacs are by this turn of events.

If anything disqualifies Obama from being president is the overwhelming, naivity demonstrated by his choices of people to run his campain.

People who think the Democratic party values define the nation, when in truth the Democratic party values are considered liberal/extreme by all but Democrats.

Race may not be an issue in the Democratic party, but in the GENERAL ELECTION it WILL BE ALL THE REASON you need to explain why Obama WILL LOSE the General election.

The understanding of the ads is also somewhat lacking. This is a tried and true tactic throughout the South and Texas and all Republican strongholds.

They are NOT targeting Obama, they are targeting his SUPPORTERS/ENDORSERS.

Demands to NOT run the ad will be seen as heavy-handed, improper attempts to force local, independent political parties from defending themselves.

All's fair in love and war, and in the South, politics as well.

Settle down America. It is history repeating itself. If you see pictures of Emmette Teale hanging from a tree, infront of a beautiful southern church, and the deacons of that church sporting KKK outfits, historical shock would reverberate thoughout this country. Those injustices do loom in the subconscious minds of far too many Americans today. It is time to see if we as a nation have progressed in that regard. Hillary Clinton has not carried the black vote since before SC. If she can't carry the black vote now she will not get it back by sucking up to the supers and overturning the deligate vote.

Caucaus states do not have popular votes that is why democrates base win/lose on deligate system. To allow Floida and Mich popular votes to count would disenfranchise caucaus state votes.

I have a question. Are the DVDs sold by United Trinity copyright protected? If they are copyright protected, wouldn’t the North Carolina Republican Party be breaking the law by broadcasting the Rev. Wright footage without express permission? You Tube would not be a loophole since all the footage originated from these DVDs. Food for thought.

Incidents like these make apparent the urgency and gravity of the issues mr obama addressed in his speech on race in which he candidly highlights the frustrations and resentments that still exist among the races and our need to start tackling these issues head on in an attempt make progress towards resolving them

(Scarbourough,Buchanan, Matthews or whomever) from any media organization (FOX, CNN, MSNBC or whatever) that because we are members of the white working class we or because we are Hispanic or because we are FEMALE we HAVE to cast our vote for/against a candidate just because he/she is black/white/male/female; this time WE will choose to look beyond the beyond the color of one's skin and beyond one's gender, and we will we choose a leader of this nation who has the integrity, honesty and decency to lead us in a direction of unity, peace and prosperity. A leader who dares us not only to hope for a unified, secure, and properous America, but who also dares us to strive to realize that hope for our own sake, the sake of our children, the sake of our nation.
