Barack, remember how you got us in the first place with the speech at the convention. I knew then that I would vote for you for president as soon as you could make the race. Glad it was so soon. Try not to worry about the screamer and her sidekick. They are desperate for another chance and it shows. Every time you get a chance, brighten up, loosen up and make speeches. They get us up and going every time. You are the medicine that this country needs, and don't you forget it. Ignore the petty stuff that has nothing to do with the office. Don't even answer questions about sermons any more. Whoever votes on that issue has already made up a narrow mind which can't change anyway. Lastly, shout about Bush, Cheney, Rove and company over and over again, and about how poorly we have been served by them and their arrogance.

Now this probably means nothing to young voters and people who don't know their history, but it is raising red flags for many of us. He left behind a wife and nine children ,aged 17,15,13,10,9,7,6,2, and 11 months. Katharine Powers drove the get-away car and was on the lam for 23 years before getting caught and then treated with the same despicable reverence that Obama's friend Ayers has been given by the media. Ayers and his wife Bernadine Dohrn, like Powers, went underground as fugitives after a bomb-making factory blew up on a residential Manhattan block, killing three people.

Mr & Mrs Obama need to do a prime time sit down interview. He needs to look into the camera and say I want to be the President of the United States because I love this country and really believe that my life and what I have achieved is unique to America. I believe I can lead this country to face the many challenges presented to us and to regain the respect lost during the Bush years, around the world.....He needs to talk of how he grew up, how Michelle grew up and the world he wants for his children. He needs to connect on a very personal level so he must not talk in the larger scope for this interview as it is about character. He should be prepared to answer all of the tough questions much as he did on Meet The Press and Michelle needs to explain how her enthusiasm caused her to misspeak when she said she was proud of America for the first time and remind people of her background and how much she loves this country. I believe this is the only way to get past the Reverend Wright and all of the other nonsense and get back to the issues. He has said some of this in various remarks but in 1 package on prime time. He needs to practice and be taped and look back at that tape to learn how to do an interview on television which includes sitting up straight and being aware of his facial expressions. I realize this has nothing to do with

anything but Nixon lost to Kennedy because of that debate...bad lighting, sweaty lip,etc....Bottom line I believe the most important thing is to speak to the American people in a very personal and revealing way. He needs to capture the same magic he has when he makes a speech to a large group.

Firstly, the vast ignorance that has been displayed in prior comments is not only unsettling but also nearly laughable. Hopefully future comments will not be devalidated by the juvenile name-calling and insults that currently plague a fascinating and highly esteemed political blog.

While many reader suggestions were good, many were additionally implausible. A surprise visit to Iraq would, I believe, result in an amazing upswing in support from moderate voters who lean red, but it's probability is so slim as to be negligible. Obama can sit down for the interviews and conspicuously order a couple of Buds at an Indiana bar all he wants, but he needs to reignite his campaign with the same cataclysmically beautiful eloquence and passion that got him going in the first place.

Will.I.Am.'s viral video "Yes We Can" may be only impressive to those of the YouTube and MTV generation, but I challenge any one of you to watch it and not feel chills. Obama is our RFK. Forty years later, we are blessed with the sort of unifying candidate that can inspire across racial lines, across class lines, across party lines, perhaps, and yet he has been bogged down in a swirl of scandal and the majority of the public has lost sight of this.

In terms of policy, Obama has been pretty clear about his policies as far as I'm concerned. For all those who complain that he has not clearly laid out his plans concerning policy, I suggest that you watch those torturously long debates with Hillary, in which we realize that a) many of his policies are nearly identical to hers and b) the ones that aren't are discussed with such longevity that it was almost painful to watch (healthcare during the Austin, TX debate, anyone?) Hillary can use her nicely-alliterated "speeches, not solutions" quip until August, but the fact that Obama is nearly magical during those speeches cannot go ignored. I urge the Stumper audience to reread RFK's "On the Mindless Menace of Violence" and recognize the genius of such. Pardon me if I'm wrong, but were there any policy remarks during that speech?

I am only eighteen years old, and I understand fully that the rock-concert fanaticism and mania of Obama's large rallies does not appeal to or necessarily impress an older voting populace. I understand that my demographic cannot carry Obama through the primary season nor through the general election. But I implore you all to remember a time when you were young and could be inspired by someone like RFK, and I additionally urge you to realize the way the world and racial relations could change if an African-American were to be elected President of the arguably most powerful nation in the world.

Don't write off young people because they don't "understand" the nuances of a presidential election. After sitting attentively through every single one of the 21 debates, and after avidly perusing every political blog and major national newspaper and publication daily for almost a year now, I am well aware of Obama's every misstep and shortcoming. Be realistic and grow up. He isn't God and certainly should not be expected to attain and maintain perfection. He does, however, need to shake off the "Bubba Gap" by reminding people, quite plainly, that he grew up in a single-parent household and was poor. As a current Ivy League student, I understand the elitist stigma of my institute, but that doesn't change the fact that my father is a Mexican immigrant and that in spite of who I become after I graduate, elitism isn't part of me; I would extrapolate the same to Obama.

So he needs to get back up there, with the passion, with the fire, with the lofty ideals, with the eloquence, with the screaming crowd, and remind people why they ever fell in love with him in the first place. And that will be unsatisfactory to many, surely. And it may not even clinch the nomination. But if he does it the way he has before, I can say with confidence that many will be unable to focus only upon his negative and irrelevant mishaps any longer.

Too many Dems (and Republicans) are writing into these message boards with the same type of "fiery rhetoric" that got Reverend Wright into the limelight.

Personally, I think all whiff of religion should be DOWNPLAYED by the media - it's too divisive and doesn't do the plebisite any favors. Is it truly relevant who goes to what church, who sat where for 20 years, whose preacher endorsed who? It seems like we're a nation of goody-goody hypocrites who think NOTHING of dropping bombs on innocent families in Iraq and Afghanistan, but who profess to be so "Christian" - they never worry about the millions of Iraqis we've displaced from their homes permanently, nor do these self-styled, self-righteous Christians worry about killing and maiming all the people in the crossfire.... The ones that scream the LOUDEST about Religion and Rev. Wright tend to be the opposition - the "holy roller" Republicans who make it their business to cry the loudest, the most persistently, and who collectively, represent the downfall of our national culture and, inevitably, the economy and the super power we once boasted.

I for one think the media is to blame for spoiling a series of perfectly good candidates in favor of the mediocre choice - BUSH JR - for the past two elections. That is the really shocking thing - the so called "LIberal" media shooting its better candidates in the foot, swiftobating them and allowing the better of the two finalists to "lose" through really stupid sensationalism.

Over the past few months, Senator Obama has fallen into the "Here's what I'll do for you" trap. It's akin to calling for more selections in the soda machine in student council elections. For a campaign such as his "Yes We Can," he needs to re-focus on the "WE." Blatantly say "Look, this is your problem, too. Too often we, as presidential hopefuls, tell you what we're going to do and let you believe it will happen without you having to help out or provide input in any way." The voting age is set so that only adults can elect our presidents...so it's not unreasonable to expect the voters of America to be adults. Which means...far-fetched, I know...taking responsibility for our part and assisting in the process of change and betterment.

One other idea, which really is an idea for his presidency, but something he could bring up now -- the return of The Fireside Chat. Senator Obama could propose -- and follow through with -- a weekly, regularly-scheduled thirty-minute television (or radio, or both) presentation to the American people. It really nails home the message that this is our country, and the president should have an open (albeit, one-way) communication with his countrymen. Furthermore, it makes the senator's transparency agenda start right at the top, and allows the country (WE, the people) a first-hand opportunity to continuously be involved. And it takes the "soundbite-mania" play out of the news network's hands, allowing the President to provide a regular, unsullied, un-snipped message for the people of America

These are very good points. And I think it's time to revisit separation between church and state. This campaign should be about real issues, primarily economic and energy, that are going to have a devastating impact on every American. Overindulgence in religious issues in 2000 and 2004 is what got this country into the mess we face now, and we don't need more of the same. Who cares what candidates do in their churches, we need to know how they will address this country's serious issues. Let's move on.

The Hillary Problem is that she is a chameleon. This new populist profile is shaped and crafted but not her. She has a credibility issue. People do not trust her. Obama should underscore his trustworthiness; and loyalty. These two character traits along with the ability to build a "big tent" are what keeps him in the running. These are traits are not associated with Clinton. This is what makes them different. No one wants someone divisive who fights with out listening. Clinton can easily be envisioned as pushy (ie not a fighter) Obama should emphasize his character as an honest man.

You have two distinct topics; one, HRC's command of Constitutional knowledge; secondly, as far as I know, HRC wasn't bifurcating Barack's religious underpinnings. She was asked about the Wright controversy and succinctly stated her position (which you perhaps misinterpreted), that, in fact, has nothing to do with Obama's First Amendment Rights.

I thinkn the Obama Family should invest in a really smart, chic Standard Poodle (hypo allergenic, intelligent breed) and his two daughters and wife could go on a trip to educate people about poodles - it's a fabulous breed of dog, and one that is much maligned because of its hair and frou-frou style - but this breed is by far the most fashionable dog and should really get some good press.

That, along with preparing his nomination speech, and maybe figuring out which doggie park to run the Poodle in, should be about it. He has won and I want to have a president with a good sense of humor.... He could pepper his speaches with "elitist poodle" jokes and whenever Pastor Wright rears his head again, Obama could distract the press with a Poodle Tour - this could be a whole new era in Political races -- McCain should get a little French Bulldog and the dogs can duke it all out and give us all some much needed COMIC RELIEF!!!

I can't support Hillary. I just can't. Obama has his flaws, but Hillary's just a lunatic.

First, there's the whole "let's call it quits and you be my vice president" suggestion from her some time back while Obama was clearly in the lead. In any other competitive venue, if you offer your opponent 2nd place while they are winning, you're insufferably arrogant, a wimp who feels you can't win it on your own but are "owed" the victory, or worse...

Second, kneecapping your own party by praising the presumptive Republican nominee and yourself and denigrating the frontrunner in your own party. It's one thing to imply McCain is better than Bush (which Obama did recently), but he never implied Bush or McCain are in any way better than Hillary. This infraction alone should get you kicked off the team for good. You would never see Mike Huckabee or any of the Republicans do something like that to one another.

Third, the whole sniping "lie" incident. What really bothered me is once while she was campaigning (before 11pm I might add) she said it was customary for the First Lady to go to places that were too dangerous for the President. What self-respecting male president would even agree to that?! What kind of woman would even feel comfortable acting like her man would be cool with letting his wife land in a warzone as his proxy? If i were her husband, I'd be PISSED nevermind how the voters should feel.

Fourth, Hillary's gotten away with tons of whining and "crybaby" crap when she was down. I don't understand why so many people are talking about how tough she is when she's saying stuff like, "Why do I always gets asked the question first?" A lot of people don't remember the crying and the pissing and the moaning she did. You really think if McCain cried because he lost the first caucus he would EVER be viewed as tough no matter how much time he put in a PoW war camp? Granted, the media parked their collective chins on Obama's nuts and gave her a rough time of it after he won Iowa but there's no need to cry!! It was one contest! Somehow it worked (she won NH), but she lost a lot of respect in my book.

So there you have it... yeah, I didn't like the whole "clinging to guns" thing Obama said. I don't think he meant any harm, but it was clearly bad and allowed the floodgates to open. And while the Reverend Wright thing doesn't look good (along with all the other stuff that seems designed to scare voters), it can't counterbalance the stuff Hillary's done since almost all of it is very much an attempt to make him guilty by association. Not yet, at least. He just has to staunch the bleeding and limp to the finish line.

Once he's going against a Republican who has radically different (and vulnerable) views, it'll be a new day and he can bare his teeth a lot more. (He's not stupid enough to rip into a fellow Democrat that's female and tarnish his message of unity and new politics even though he should start considering it given how wimpy some people see him.) Aside from this new gas tax thing, they (Hillary and Obama) don't really differ on much of anything so it was mostly a contest of raw charisma, an area where Obama has outshined all his challengers. But it's not over.

Since that time to the present plans have existed for implementing universal health care in this country. Now Hillary tries to paint Obama as a candidate without plans or solutions. A quick visit to his website will show you that he does indeed have plans and in truth they are not that greatly different from Hillary's. As a veteran of 20+ years I can tell you that when a mission went awry it was rarely due to a lack of plans, but rather a lack of effective leadership. And therein is the important difference . Obama has the capacity for inspired leadership that will transmute "plans" from empty political promises into effective policies. Not since Kennedy have we had the great fortune of being able to vote for this type of inspirational leader. Or we can retreat back into mean-spirited and divisive politics ....

Obama has done a much better job of pulling from her constituency than she has done at pulling from hers. No body seems to know much about what Obama tells the African-American community, I got a report for Jonathan Alder and an article from Google about it. From what I gather, when he addresses and African-American audience, he delivers straight talk that would put John McCain to shame. Forget the welfare queen garbage. Obama stresses independence, responsibility, education, parenting, and healthy eating habits. He also takes on some African-American churches, criticizing anti-Semitism and homophobia. Is the Obama any knows about? I'm not sure what the political effect would be but with all the brouhaha over REv. Wright, we need some equal time.

He satirized and ridiculed the media's coverage of Reverend Wright. I'm sure it's available on You-Tube. Try to get Stewart's permission and recycle the segment everywhere, just like Rev. Wright's old sermons. If anything, it's good for a laugh. I take that back. It's a SCREAM!!!!

Excellent suggestions all. Oh but one thing. The superdelegates and letters issues. Supporters through the efforts of the Barack Obama campaign website have already been doing this pretty steadily for months and months. I can't even count now how many blogs I've seen about letter writing campaigns that are underway. I myself wrote a letter to every superdelegate out there as well as the DNC telling them why I support Obama and why they should too. Also, I think that most of the suggestions for Obama are good ones, but it doesn't take into account one measly little fact, OBAMA HAS ALREADY WON!!!! When I first heard Barack Obama speak it was after the NH primary and right after Obama gave his speech. I remember watching that speech and tears came to my eyes. Obama struck a chord in me that I had thought long dead. I had given up completely on Washington. Politics were dead. I had watched as Bushes and Clintons robbed me of all the faith I had in politicians really caring about the people they served. To me MR. Smirth Goes to Washington was a fairy tale. I had given up hope that there would be a voice in my generation that spoke directly to where I was in my life. That could light up in me a spark of hope for the future of my kids. But then suddenly...There was Senator Barack Obama, sounding a call of change of hope. I was in shock I think for a few days after that, and ever since I've been hooked on the news. Scouring the internet, working night and day to get Obama elected as our next president.

My mother, 64 years old first heard Obama in during the last Democratic Convention in 2004. She called me up and said, "I think I just saw the next president of the United States of America." That was 2004. I thought she was nuts. All I could think was what kind of name is Obama? That didn't sound like a very presidential name. I barely yawned when Hillary announced her candidacy...all I thought was Oh God...not another 4 to 8 years of Clinton. But it seemed inevitable. I tuned out until that speech in NH.

There is something very special about this guy and if we drop the ball on this one voters, we are going to be kicking ourselves in the butts for the next four years. A lost opportunity may never again come around. There is a 'Fierce Urgency of Now."

When I've heard Obama speak, I realize that his speeches don't contain any real substance. While inspiring, he lacks the true knowledge and expertise to be able to do what he claims he will be able to do. Running away from a debate without moderators out of fear because he knows he's not anywhere near as experienced. Pulling the republicans and democrats together is truly a comical aspiration since of course, the republicans who can't even go along with a moderate is somehow going to jump on the bandwagon with the most liberal senator in the senate. Always bearing in mind that talk is cheap and even cheaper when coming from politicians, of which Obama is exactly that of course. He has been preparing for this for a good portion of his life, classical career politician. Oh, but he's new. Nice try, same old story. Oh, but he's black. Good luck in the general election with that one. His wife is a disgrace, only been proud to be an American once in her life. A half brother who is a radical muslim committing genocide in Kenya. Only distancing himself from Rev. Wright because he had to (purely a political move), not very bright. Never seeing the Rev. Wright trainwreck for somebody who was preparing for a long time to attempt a run at the presidency. Shows a serious lack of foresight and has to call into question his judgement. Oh but he can speak, hooray.

Forget about the white male working class voters. We don't like sissies, we like fighters. I know women who have more cajones than you do. Auntidi, there aren't enough of you to get the job done, thank goodness. Obama followers are actually making the problem worse. Republicans love to pain Democrats as sissies. . He can't win in November, and the polls clearly show that he is the weakest of all 3. I can't wait to see the republican ads leading up to November if he gets the nomination. Should be truly entertaining, a real show.

TheVail, you are assuming way too much. If you went to a church and the pastor was saying the things Rev. Wright was saying, wouldn't you realize he's off his rocker. If my in-laws went to a church and their pastor said things like that, I'd tell them to their face their pastor is f-ing crazy. Quite frankly, if they couldn't see it, maybe I could slap some sense into them. The difference is my in-laws have the common sense to know right from wrong. Call it mean or whatever, but I call it being brutally honest. Knowing that what he was saying was unsellable to the American public, as a politician, you HAVE to get up and leave, and don't come back, otherwise you get what you deserve come election time. His words were not taken out of context as so many uninformed Obama followers claim, since Wright reiterated all of his views again, forcing Obama to try and save his candidacy and get away from him.

Since when do women get married in their parents church? Maybe sometimes, but my wife didn't, my mother didn't, my mother in law didn't, and my sister didn't. And I wouldn't let them if the pastor was batsh*t crazy.

I agree with taking the mic on it just a bit more. I m a full supporter of Obama and his not "being experienced" is a great thing for me! 1. On what Barack believes: He needs to quiet the fears about Black Liberation Theology. BLT is NOT insurgency against the white establishment. White people are afraid all he did was listen to Rev Wright talk about "white devils" every Sunday for the past 20yrs. He really needs to focus on things like self-reliance, pulling oneself up by the boot straps, etc. That's what most black people hear on Sunday at church, and try to practise.There is nothing intimidating about that. Blacks are told by the mainstream culture to quit waiting for handouts and get over the past. When we rally ourselves together and try to organize to show there is power in numbers, that we can help each other, whether it is via the Nation of Islam or whatever church program that wants to emphasize unity and helping each other, suddenly we are a threat. No matter what Wright believes, there is no way the church would have grown to 8000 people if all he did was be and preach negative. He needs to educate people more on black culture. Like most immigrants in the US, we love our country, regardless of how we have been treated or even the current circumstances. I know it's not exactly where he would like to be, but at the end of the day, Barack has been cast as a black candidate first and since his blackness is now strange/alienating, he has to continue to address it. Not black pride, but cross cultural pride because he is both. He grew in a white household and is half-white

2. Show more of his white side:

When Barack started out, he was greeted with great scepticism in the black community who refused to see him as "black enough" Why? He grew up in exotic places like Hawaii and Indonesia, his father was a Kenyan immigrant who lived here for a short period of time, and he was raised in a white household. How come all of that is now lost and the electability issue is a code word for his race? Because white Americans go by skin color, not conviction, upbringing, or anything else. Barack was post-racial, until the Clintons started injecting the obvious fact in there and MSM kept harping on the black vote defection from the Clintons to Obama. Rev Wright did not help either. His wife being a more typical African American was not good for the cause either.

Again, this is uncomfortable for Barack, but he needs to play the reverse race card. He has to go back to the beginning when he was seen as trancending race. He has to significantly play up his white side. All those white women who are firmly in Hillary's camp could just as easily have been his mother, and he needs to find a way to invoke her memory to pull at them as well. Maybe more emphasis on her maternal aspirations for him and his sister, how he wishes to make her proud, etc. He needs to emphasize the unity component: not a blue or red America, black or white america and he needs to weave in more personal stories as a consensus-builder. Thos of us who read his books know all this but the average blue collar worker doesn't read so he needs to re-introduce himself and his beliefs to them, but by playing up his white side, his ability to be both white and black.

3. He simply needs more pep in his step and more excitement going for him. I know this has been a hard long journey. There are 3 Clintons working against him and the MSM plays along with whatever changing agendas the Clintons set. The rules and goal posts have been moved 20times already and we all just go along for the ride. He needs to be playful but still jab at Clintons and their dodginess. Call it complaining if you will but it has to be done tactfully and with humor.

It sounds like Hillary Clinton is listening to Rev. Wright. She has the audacity of hope to believe that she is the best candidate this country can come up with.

I like the ideas of having Obama supporters contact the undeclared/undecided superdelegates and showing the softer side. His commercials need to be harder on Bush. They need to show where a picture of Bush turns into a picture of John McCain (and then perhaps Hillary). Obama needs to outline everything that has gone wrong in 8 years of Bush - the war, treatment of veterans, Katrina, housing market, kids can't read - and then show what the future might look like. Crowds lining up to hear him. People speaking of his accomplishments (helping them get aid, legislation that he passed and the impact).

Obama is the winner already, but we'll see how things go tonight. If Hillary had already won as many states as Obama, her camp would be crying "Victory!" long before now. What other hoops must we put this great candidate through??? In response to your comment, re: cart-before-the-horse, I suppose what I'm saying is that Obama doesn't need to worry about re-tooling his campaign on an issues-level. The issues are there, his positions are more or less beyond reproach for orthodox Democrats while having just enough of a centrist slant to keep the cross-over vote interested. His problem is that he's not getting the opportunity to talk about those issues while he continues to play defense. His attack on Clinton and McCain's pandering on the gas tax is a good start, but it's a trivial issue that doesn't grab the headlines the way, say, calling Clinton out on her bewildering "nuclear shield" proposal would. He needs to articulate a strong position on something important and re-center the conversation on his terms.

First it isn't the religious beliefs of an individual that is in question. His judgement however is a serious concern. Anti Americanism and racial hates towards "white men" in no way constitutes "religion". Free speach seems to only be important to you when it helps you. General Rule: Stay above the fray. Talk about your action plan. Be specific. Address criticism but always segue into the PLAN.

Specifics:

(1) Address the Wright dilemma by talking about the disgusting "process" of campaigning and the tactics that are used. Everyone agrees that this is generally a turn-off. Give examples: (a) John Kerry swift-boated (b) John McCain in SC 2000 primary, (c) Max Cleland lambasted by rumors and cutesy television ads, and finally (d) soundbites of a toubled and attention-starved preacher imputed to a candidate. Offer a solution to this type of campaigning: really talking about the role of government: where it should step-in and where it should butt-out. Here's where you give specifics of your action-plan. (your website is fairly good... USE IT)

(2) Energy Policy/NAtional Security/Housing Cirsis/Food Crisis/Economy/Job Creation/Helathcare: This is all the same issue. The solutions are intertwined. They are so interrelated it just begs to be corralled into a policy action -plan. You already know the specifics, and you have the charisma to deliver the message, but you're allowing others to keep you off message. Also, be blunt with the public in your speeches (the way you did with your race speech) Don't promise them pie in the sky, offer simple, succinct policy actions that address our biggest concerns. (i.e. how CAFE standards relate to national security and job creation)

(3) Iraq: Special Forces are the answer. Even the military right agrees with this. Only Rumsfield missed the mark here. No more "occupation" Instead small forces that udnerstand the cultural, religious, and economic climate that our troops are working in. Patreaus is starting to get this. Acknowledge the improvements in our military's tactics/approach, but insist on small insertions of specialized teams, with full close-air-support; not the type of "leave-em-in-the-lurch" policy that was the perception of democrats' pressure to end Vietnam. And...here's a good time to talk about healthcare for vets: nothing but the best.

Not one of the 230 economists opposing the temporary tax break has an answer to the problem of soaring gas prices. The predicates for their arguments are so nebulous that rationalizing their repudiation is pure politicization. Recently, Obama rallied the fear of "thousands of job losses" occurring as a result of the temporary tax break. So, antithetically, employment should remain steady if the price of gas maintains equilibrium. One fervent Obama supporter denounced Senator Clinton and claimed that 300,000 jobs would be lost if the tax holiday passed. Again, one can then argue that gasoline tax preserves jobs; if the price of gasoline declined then the number of jobs in America would also wane. I take a train to work so where does factor in this conundrum?

If three months of tax free gas = a $30.00 savings.

You save about .33 cents a day.

As a 56 yo white male vocal supporter of Obama, I constantly find myself explaining why we should NOT hold Obama responsible for Rev. Wright's comments. Since damaging exerpts will be looped on TV until the General in November anyway, why doesn't Obama do a 5 minute YouTube rebuttal, something like this: Title: "Obama Speaks To Rev. Wright" Play short clip of Wright, e.g. "God Damn America..." Obama then explains why he doesn't agree with Wright and why he thinks God has Blessed America!, etc., etc., countering each of Wright's inflammatory statements.

My wife's reaction to this suggestion was, "Oh My Gawd, No!!!" Why bring it up all over again. The fact is, though, that Fox News, MSM, Republican attack ads will bring it up anyway. In my personal campaigning (for instance, with the kid I talked to today @ Discover's Customer Service Call Center in Phoenix), I would love to be able to say, "Hey, look man, type in "Obama Answers Wright" on You Tube, and you'll see why you don't have anything to worry about from ["The Angry/Scary Black Man]."

The media has not asked tough questions about what happened while the Clinton's were in the White House to Ron Brown. Obama represents a deviation from the normal political BS, and he happens to be black. Hillary offers more of the same ol' politics, she happens to be a woman. It's a historic moment to be sure, but it can be bigger than just a different race or gender in the white house. As much as her sense of entitlement to the nomination disgusts meshe has been a formidable candidate. But fellow dems need to look around. Regardless of which dem you support, it is over. MI & FL have no one to blame but themselves. They are the ones who elected the incompetent officials that screwed up the primaries. Having said that, even if you did include them, she still loses. I assure you, electability on the democratic side is a non-issue. McCain's campaign is going to get bludgeoned to death with the Iraq war and the economy. And who better to do it than someone who was against the war from the get go, and someone who actually listens to economists.....

Thats wy I want to change to honesty in government! That wy I want to end the heavy influence of lobbyists on politics, of people which dont want, whats good for America, but what is good for their bank account! And these are exactly the people, which call themseves Partiots and try to rise doubts about me. Because they know, with a real patriot as President, they have fewer cances to exploit our grwat nation!

The politics of the Republicans had the effort, that: Christians are more surpessed than ever in muslim countries. Almost every muslim in the world hates America, AlKaida and radical mislim organizations gain more and more support because of the stupid politics of Bush and his men!

Energy costs?

Since Bush became President, the oil and gas prices rised by more than 200%! About the same the profits of the oil company had risen! And a lot of oil people are in the Bush government. Is that an accident?

The opposite is true. Hamas, ElKaida and organizations like that need People like Bush, McCain and that kind! So they can paint the picture of the ignorant american warhounds and that helps them to gain support among the population in mislim countries!

On the other hand, these orgaizations are the perfect support for the republican campain, because it helps them to play the card of fear and distract fom the important issues.

Obama is definitely getting his groove back after his recent victories! He is showing all Americans -White, Black, Hispanic, Asian, Hillary supporters and the Media that he deserves this nomination and has been working diligently with a positive attitude to obtain it! Throughout this race he has continued to lead in pledge delegates, the popular vote, in states won (big and small), and now he is closing the super delegate gap almost surpassing Hillary. My advice to Obama would be, focus on the Issues, keep presenting your ideas and ignore negativity. When the media or Hillary comes at you, if you must respond do it briefly with a sense of humor recognizing that Hillary is desperate but for the most part respond with "discussing this will not help Americans who are struggling right now" and jump into your plans to help America get back on track.

Senator Obama should do what he does best -- have a frank discussion with voters in W.Virginia and Kentucky -- and America as a whole. He should address one by one the personal and policy issues that are stopping some for embracing him. He should also use the campaigns themselve to demonstrate his ability to build a coaliation, his understanding of the issues and his management skills.

It will be very interesting to see how West Virginia and Kentucky vote in the primaries.

West Virginia has long known the detrimental and consequential effects of environmental problems from lack of care by government to fulfill their obligations, and is therefore uniquely situated to doubt what government can do - change or not, yes we can mantras or not.

Kentucky having been neutral during the civil war is no stranger to the problems of gangland warfare, between regions, or between races, and states. Their history speaks for itself, and while traditionally mild mannered, KY can become a tiger when it asserts itself.

In political races for the Presidency, West Virginia and KY are situated much as Obama is - between the detriments and the benefits that can be forseen as an outcome of who is elected President based upon the undue influences of this election, of which there have already been plenty, nearly too numerous to count.

If Obama goes in, America will be caught between OPEC and Indonesian oil of his past and China who receives it with the United States and its citizens in the middle - much like the problems of West Virginia that KY forsaw and announced its neutrality. In this election, no state can afford that indulgence of neutrality, however, except by going with McCain. Hillary's shot across the bow to bust up OPEC is no doubt a derivative of that growing tension and recognition of where America stands just now because of this election and its self indulgence of entertaining a lightweight as potential President. Isn't that how we got into this mess, with George W.?
