Hillary may have a chance after all, for 2 reasons.

1) Reports say Bill Clinton is rumored to be wooing Obama to secretly marry him, thereby guaranteeing that Obama’s candidacy will finally sink like a stone.

2) According to Hillary and Bill (who else?), the race has only just begun, because the number of delegates needed for the nomination is not 2025, and it is not 2209. In fact, the real number is 37,378.

These news items were relayed to Earth by a deep space probe which also sent back photographic proof that the Clintons had moved the goal posts to the 9th moon of Jupiter.

MacLean

Actually, the truth about Bill is much worse - he didn't hurt her campaign in NC - he was irrelevant.

Obama would have won NC, and by a sizable margine, with or without Bill, because the people of NC and the rest of the country have determined that this contest is about Hilary and Barack, and more important, it is about the issues.

Barack won because voters chose him. Hilary lost because voters didn't choose her. Period.

Bill simply didn't make a difference either way. And with his medical history, he needs to slow down - his coronary arteries aren't going to take much more of this.

Perhaps if Hilary won't drop out of the race for our sakes, she might for her husband's - he needs the rest; they are pushing him too hard.

You fought courageously, Hil, but it's time to let the democratic party hunker down and focus on McCain.

Bill didn't screw up the campaign. The country is just tired of the same people in government so long. That goes for Clintons and Bushes. We just like to change things once in a while. Let someone else have a chance to screw things up. That is government's usual job. To screw things up. It doesn't matter how much you like the next person who gets the presidency, sooner or later things get too tangled to untangle and you get someone else to come in and erase the board and start all over, eventually to do the same thing. It's beautiful. The envy of the world, most of which has a tendency to put up with the same despots for generations. That's what makes them want to come here. At least we expel them once in a while and start over. It's fun.

Everybody wants change. We love you. Don't get us wrong. You had a good chance to change your name. That might have done it. But, your name is still Clinton. Clinton, Bush, either name. You can't stay in the oval office any longer. Your name is now a classic "ruling America" name, like Roosevelt, Taft, Adams and all the family dynasties. Your family will be revered for centuries and they will serve the country honorably, same as the others. Turn in the cleats. You are now an icon, an honorable icon.

You have character. You wouldn't leave a paramour drowning in the dark waters of Chappaquidick, nor did you cheat in law school and get thrown out, and I don't believe that you would trash your party. Ted cannot erase these problems. As much as he has done for us, his pages of history will always be smeared. We still need you in government. Your followers would follow you into the flames of hell. They love you so much that they are threatening suicidally go over to the enemy in expression of their love. This is in your hands. You can't win. Please turn in your cleats and keep some self respect. Keep your history pages clean.

Along with Hillary he is trying to relive the past. A large number of older white Democrats want to relive the past too, so they support the Clintons'. Alot of other voters remember the Clinton years with less enthusiasm. We remember a President who disgraced himself and the office, who lied and was impeached, who left office in disgrace and cost the Democrats two Presidential elections. Did he deserve to be impeached? Probably not, but he does deserve to be forgotten as an unpleasant memory from the past with nothing to offer for the future.

I wonder how long she'll have to suffer from the illusion of grandeur in a Clinton restoration. What I'm afraid is the pressure on Barack to offer the VP slot to her which would provide a way for her return to the WH. A lot of people associated with the Clintons have suffered sudden death going back to decades in association.

Hill should have seen how prescient she was when she urged people to bet on a filly in Kentucky that ended in tragedy before her recent debacle last Tuesday. Unfortunately for her, she is no clairvoyant as Vlad described her as someone without head ! If 41 is someone as born with silver foot in his mouth, Hill must have been born without head to be able to think clearly. Hill's willingness to spent her fortune on her failing campaign is not a sign of smartness, but blind ambition that knows no bound. With that, Hill should probably now campaign with a new slogan - Bunker Hill.

All he could say was "make room for the EMT's and keep the noise down" He had no concern for the woman on the ground. His only comment was "I didn't think I could still make women faint at my age" This was just another example of the Clinton's mentality. Their priorities and goals are the only concerns for them. A little compassion for the woman on the ground might have made a difference. But then, I firmly believe Bill does not want Hillary in the White House. He does not want to risk having more damaging evidence against them made public.
