I acknowledge his service at the Hanoi Hilton, but I also believe that the PTSD that he suffers from his prolonged stay in captivity, has damaged his amygdala to the extent that he is, to put it mildly, a very loose cannon, and nuclear at that.

I believe that he does not have the neurological health to carry the "Football" on our behalf.

He is , quite simply, dangerous.

I don't, however, feel that Senator Obama has anything on McCain. Therefore, I will write-in my dead Uncle, the first Air-Force Pilot killed in Vietnam; Captain Robert Lewis Simpson. Killed first day In-Country after 67 missions in Korea. I have never written-in a candidate, much less a dead one, but what is my choice? Worse and Worst.

I'm supporting Obama for many reasons, including his plan for Iraq, which benefits our country the most and makes by far the most sense; for his foreign policy, which is based on strengthening our relationships around the world and not cutting off anyone we don't like; and for his healthcare plan, which will be the boldest step toward universal coverage that we've ever had.

I also like his plan to offer money for college in exchange for service. I would love to see Obama make service more central to his campaign.

The fact is he is aware. Note also I have a lot of friends suffering from PTSD. Some even police officer if it doesn't stop them from duty, I don't see why it should hender him. I like the fact he is real and he stumbles from time to time. He even admits when he is not sure of something, like when he said he wasn't great at economics but he new enough people that they could help him. I also think he is having difficulting minding his advisor because I am sure they want him to lie and candy coat things which is not his nature. I find him intelligent enough that if he does not know something then regardless of party lines he will find those that specialize in his weak areas.

Our only hope for restoring freedom, extracting us from an endless war in Iraq and reducing the size and cost of the titanic federal government is is Libertarian candidate and former Republican Congressman, Bob Barr. Change is always easily promised by Democrats and Republicans alike. They have made change their battle cry for longer than you or I have been voting. If the people of America really want to change the course Washington has taken us, then they can make it happen by supporting candidates who know the bedrock importance of personal liberty in this country. Support Libertarian candidates in November, especially Presidential candidate Bob Barr.

McCain abandoned his disabled wife for a much younger, richer beer heiress. Then abandoned her after she had a stroke...to learn to walk on her own.

Is that why the big corporations like him, will get him in office and keep him there? - he likes being a kept man. And he'll keep us in Iraq - so they continue to make profits.

You know the big ones:

Haliburton - who moved offshore so they wouldn't have to pay taxes back to us.

Blackwater - who is accountable to no one.

The telecoms - who want to take your free internet away

Big Oil - well Iraq and drilling in our pristine areas.

If Obama came close to any of this - I wouldn't like him either.

As the dollar hits a new low against the Euro, our financial system continues to melt, 20% of the cost of every gallon of gas comes from the fall of the dollar, and we pay for a war with IOUs, I bet those things seem really important now....

You have a guy who wants to continue fighting a war while cutting taxes again....but he's fun at impromptu theatre...

Here's one you could cover. John McCain and other Republicans are telling us there were no oil spills from Hurricane Katrina. This is an easily disproven lie. Some type of writer posing as a journalist could write an article about that lie! Just a thought!!

What we are looking for as president is someone with a stable disposition who will not in an arbitrary fashion take action. I am not a psychiatrist, but I know that the mental health of a person is very important in being a good leader. It is good to say, "Oh we all have PTSD, even cops, and doctors, and ....." This however is not acceptable for someone who has such a powerful position as the president of the USA. Even a cop who will only bash in the head of a traffic violator, should not be made to roam the streets with such a disorder. NO!!

If McCain is really suffering from psychological defects, to the extent that he cannot control himself, calling his wife abusive names in public, attacking people while on a diplomatic mission in Latin America, blowing his top in closed sessions, not listening to his handlers while campaigning, then he is not reliable. This is just commonsense analysis. Someone so volatile should not lead such a powerful country.

One of the reasons I have admired Obama and wanted him to win over Clinton is his poise, apart from many other nice attributes. In this race between himself and McCain, we are seeing some very interesting developments. McCain wants to townhall. I think that Obama should humor him and let a couple take place. McCain when under pressure will vent steam, showing what I call the "Obama cool". McCain is an experienced politician who I felt has something to discuss. But if he is handicapped, as reported by several reliable sources, he should be thinking of getting help or risk being an unreliable leader. This issue should not be swept under the carpet or dismissed. This is not knocking him but just being realistic and objective.

The way I see it, America needs to lift its head and be proud, once more. It has lost respect. Bush has done it the way he knows best. But now, there is need to have someone who will make the country glow again. We do not want and American president boxing someone when he gets angry. Therefore a cool head is necessary to lead the country. For now McCain does not seem to have the profile that makes me confident of how he will behave in a reliably manner, in critical decision-making and publicly.

6) You are free to vote for whom you choose but you do NOT have the right to slander others, period. Women should take a close look at McCain and women's issues. Just recently he voted AGAINST EQUAL PAY FOR WOMEN!! You and your coworker, Joe Dodd, are doing exactly the same job, yet you are only making $12.00 an hour, and Joe Dodd is making $20.00 an hour doing exactly the same job you are performing. Do you really think this is right?? YOU deserve to get paid just as much as Joe Dodd is getting paid!!

Right on. Free Ride BO flip flops about every other day, plus he has serious flaws. Who keeps track of Free Ride's flip flops so he knows where he stood yesterday? His flaws; dissing Small-Town America, friendships with convicted Rezko and the venomous reverend who spewed anger at America. No wonder Americans have such little trust in him. As for John McCain, this Hillary Democrat will support John because he offers hope for peace, prosperity, and security for this Nation. Happy Days are here again, for Teddy Roosevelt lives on in John McCain.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bemvictor:

1) McCain is getting a free ride on his being a POW! Never mind that we have had many POWs with much more exeprience than McCain. He uses his "military" experience as the carpet to ride to the Presidency. Ever notice he NEVER talks about WHAT HE DID in VietNam aside from being shot down and being a POW?? Everybody calls McCain "Hero". McCain was NEVER a recepient of "The Medal of Honor", the award RESERVED for TRUE HEROS. He never made admiral either; I would say McCain's military history was, at best, mediocre.

2) I find it funny McCain calls Senator Obama a 'flipflopper" !! Truth is McCain is the King of the flipfloppers. Not a day goes by when he has not contradiction himself on issues. McCain is an old man with an addled mind.

3) Forget about Rezco, Senator Obama was not involved in Rezco's criminal affairs. Time for you and others like you to get of potties and stop spreading lies! The same applies to Wright. You are condemning the good Senator from Illinois on other people's actions and deeds!! How fair is that? If your friend, acfquaintance, and family member goes out and robs the bank, are YOU responsible for their deeds?? Get one thing straight, NONE OF US is responsible for other people's behavior, words, actions, or deeds, period!!

4) McCain, just this morning. said he KNOWS how to fight and end wars!! Really?? Since he "CLAIMS" to be a war guru, why didn't he help plan beyond taking Sadam down?? Why were our soldiers not given the proper equipment and weapons to fight the war? Why are we still in Iraq six years later?? McCain does NOT KNOW how to fight and end wars, he is being delusional. About the ONLY thing he does know is how to GO TO WAR!!

5) Oh, please, you and McCain make me laugh. McCain thinks is the Teddy Roosevelt of 2008?? I'll guantee you, McCain is NO Roosevelt. McCain's mind isn't only addled, he is delusional. LOL

6) You are free to vote for whom you choose but you do NOT have the right to slander others, period. Women should take a close look at McCain and women's issues. Just recently he voted AGAINST EQUAL PAY FOR WOMEN!! You and your coworker, Joe Dodd, are doing exactly the same job, yet you are only making $12.00 and hour, and Joe Dodd is making $20.00 an hour doing exactly the same job your are performing. Do you really think this is right?? YOU deserve to get paid just as much as Joe Dodd is getting paid!!
