Dear American Citizens and the Press

As a concerned citizen, I consider it is my duty to bring following message to you all.

"We the citizens of the United States of America have the ultimate responsibility to elect the " Right Candidate" to lead our nation, out of our huge present and future internal and external challenges as well as opportunities. This is to prevent depression and isolation in-spite of being the only superpower in the world morally, democratically, economically, and militarily.

We need to consider the "critical qualities and characteristics" of our presumptive presidential nominees at the time we vote.

In my personal and professional opinion the critical considerations are as under:

1. Calm, cool, and collected " temper " [ Presidential Temperament ].

2. Sound and sustained "Judgment and Caliber".

3. "Thought-fullness and togetherness" of purpose and positions.

4. Minimum "ex-poser and exploitation" around "Washington and Washington insiders".

5. Renewed " Vigor and Vision " for our Greatgrand Nation.

6. Foreign policy based on " American Values, Virtuous, Vastness".

Stay informed, stay involved, and stay engaged. Do not allow some partisan media, pundits, pollsters, and perpetual political opinion makers effect your vote in the wrong direction.

Don't be effected and duped by "Psychological Terrorism" that is afflicted upon you all the time.

Long live U.S.A and its diverse but democratic people.

Newsweek hired the perky little boy Andrew Romano to attract a slice of the "youth vote" to their aging demographic, and this is what they get: some low-concept word-play from the Simpsons in Stumper ("McCain is trying to frame Obama as a no* (D'oh) know-nothing foreign-policy novice") and an unfortunate tendency to forget what the words he's playing with actually mean.

Phil Gramm isn't a victim of "2008's most potent political weapon: guilt by association." He's the architect of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act that overturned the Glass-Steagall Act and produced a multi-trillion dollar financial meltdown almost immediately after Gramm accepted a huge retroactive bribe from UBS for selling the public out to the banking industry.

Gramm was a spokesman for the McCain campaign who was fired for insulting the American public, but if guilt by association were really a "potent politcal weapon," Phil Gramm would be serving hard time in Folsom prison for corruption, and Barack Obama would be campaigning for the "God damn America!" party of Jeremiah Wright.

Politicians are running for President; neither has overwhelming support for a reason. MCCain doesn't know anything; and Obama believes he knows everything.

McCain must learn to make effective speeches of the reality of most Americans (hint: not retaining tax cuts for the very wealthy,etc., and not privatizing SS.

Obama must learn to mix with us, the hoi poli, with charm,energy and charisma.

Actually, this Gramm situation is no guilt by association in the sense you describe of advisors' dropping out because of associations with a third party. Here the guilt is McCain's for his association with a guy whose bizarre economic views are matched only by his arrogance toward those little people, the voters. And this is someone McCain has been very close to for a long long time.

Just a minor point, he probably doesn't need to learn Belorussian if he goes there. Even the President of Belarus doesn't speak that language. Russian will be enough.

a. Go on a national tour singing "Bomb Bomb Bomb, Bomb Bomb Iran."

b. Crib opening of "Ellen"—begin campaign events by dancing down the aisle.

c. Drop the N-bomb. At this point, what could it hurt?

This note is a few days late but I was forced to respond. It is for Jacob Freeze who seems to be angry at both the Democrate and Republican candidates based on his comment and the youth of this generation. But I don't care if you (Freeze) have an anger management problem or not. But I did take offense when you called Andrew ( who happens to be my favorite liberal) a perky little boy. Andrew is not a little boy he happens to be a Princeton graduate and he graduated the top of his class and his writing style is fresh and youthful. It seems you could take a lesson from him. Your anger is obvious and it seems that you have no informative information in your comment regarding Andrews article. I am a conservative Republican and I for one think you are a jerk. Chuck Hasker
