At least, that is, when it comes to the latest developments in the burgeoning Barack Obama book-publishing industry. However, almost all of the accusations made in the book have been found to be unsubstantiated, misleading, or inaccurate.[10] Media Matters for America has also criticized the book as containing serious errors, omissions, and falsehoods.[11][12]"

In other words, beside being a political hit man, Corsi is an unprincipled liar.

A complete boycott of Simon and Schuster would be a great place to start. Getting out the full story about McCain and the Keating Five might be useful. One thing is certain Obama cannot stand idly by and let the RNC/Rove/McCain thugs get away with this assault..

There are books written for Obama and then there are books written against Obama. Writers write to make money so they will say anything and put a spin on whatever to make that money. Anyone with a little common sense can see that Obama is a man who has rose to power on a meteor of lofty words and promises. What has Obama accomplished that warrents such a rise? I guess goose bumps count, being able to draw a big crowd in German counts, I guess having the news media drool over him counts, but no one seems to look at what Obama has accomplished. (Organizing soup kitchens in Chicago does not count. I am tired of hearing how he volunteered one summer). I have been looking at Obama and I do not see much at all except a fancy logo, some words that say Change on a sign, and beautiful photos that are perfect. Is there more to Obama? I would like to know. And please do not spin a tall tale masked in hope, and lofty words, I for one will not take the hook. Chuck Hasker

I guess it is legitimate for someone like Jerome Corsi, with a Ph.D. to write a book that is full of lies and unsubstantiated information. And he is being cheer-leadered, by comments that people also write books supporting Obama. The point, buddy, is that books written that are favorable to Obama are not full of lies. They are more intellectually sound. What Corsi has written is rubbish. In fact he should be taken to task for slander. I wonder how he can sleep at night. But I suppose there are some who are very happy to see such disgraceful writings and he only sees the green notes, and hopes to be laughing all the way to the bank.

It makes one wonder about people who are happy with inaccuracies only because it suits them. When the urge is so great that some of us would go to such lengths to malign another person, there must be a mean streak lurking somewhere. Some would say that politics is a dirty game and that the aim is to win at all costs. But when one deceives in order to win, he/she loses something more fundamental; conscience.

The big deal here is that Americans are being fed all this garbage and they eat it willingly knowing or/and not caring that it is garbage. When they do this it shows that there is no objectivity left on which to base a decision.

May we keep condemning those who smear either McCain or Obama so that their preferred candidate may win.
