Why not? He is.

I respect his service like everyone else, but why does he get a free pass because of his history? He's a multi-millionaire who owns his own plane, has appeared on film, and left his wife for a beer distributor heiress. That's non an attack, that's a fact. It doesn't make sense that his years as a POW disqualifies McCain as a "man of privilege."

I even had to edit your sentence to remove the ubiquitous non sequitur.

Great -- McCain cannot remember how many houses he has. Obama cannot accurately recall what he voted on or how he voted on it in Illinois. McCain says he doesn't know, he'll find out. Obama calls anyone who reports unfavorably on what he doesn't remember a liar.

......................................McCain trying to play ignorant and conceal that he owns seven houses, what a huge misrepresentation!!!! McCain and his wife are quite wealthy and are on the list of the top 10% of people in America with their riches. McCain has been giving us constant double talk and flip-flopping all year with his campaign inorder to fool America what his agenda is in reality. His constituency is the same group of selfish selfish business interests, right wing fundamentalist religionists and other extremists that supported George Bush and his sad efforts as President. They want McCain to protect their wealth and exclusive positions and keep on living it up with the high life while other Americans ignored and live without the finery that the rich have here.

McCain has been taking alot of coaching from the Karl Rove types and is trying to put up a slow before the media playing that he is an animated and dynamic guy, much different that he was a year ago at this time.....this is all just a false show that we get along with his silly grins!!!!!

McCain is one of the guys who thinks we are all in a mental recession. That w e are mentally ill or something to think the economy is bad... They don't feel the pain at the pump or in the pocket book because they are worth millions. When you are worth millions of dollars and making more off of your gas commodities then, yeah, you really are out of touch with the reality that we all face.

Obama, just having paid off his student loans, and making good recently from his books is much more in tune with the pain families feel. Funny because Elitist McCain tried to paint Obama as the elitist.

The fact that both Obama and McCain are wealthy and most of us are not is NOT the issue.

The fact that McCain doesn't even know where his assets are or what they are IS the issue.

If McCain can't keep track of his money, I sure as hell don't trust him to keep track of mine, or my country's.

And just for the record, like many Americans in 2008, I own 0 houses.

And I know it.

I do not care how many homes he and his wife own. All I care is what he will do when he gets into the white house, Most rich people own more than one home. Nothing new about that. It is a great way to increase wealth if you sit on them and sell at the right time.

What you will get with a McCain Presidency:

1. More belecose posturing and threats of military action.

2.Less considered diplomacy.

3. More spending on military budgets.

4. Less spending on Social programs, Education, mass transportation, conservation, infrastructure, etc.

5. Continued tax cuts for the riches Americans.

6. Increasing gaps between the richest Americans and the other 80%.

7. Conservative judges similar to those who handed the 2000 election to GW Bush.

8. Restricted personal freedom and privacy.

9. A country that will lack focus in addressing the serious problems that face us and the world.
