McCain needs to counter program his veep pick as well, and make his veep very conservative/ christian. Now Who will McCain Pick They have shot their self in the foot when it comes to Romney McCain released attack ads on the Biden Pick because Biden said some things negitve toward Obama during the primary.

Romney called McCain dishonest during the Primary, and more.

Huckabee came in second during the Primary not Romney., This wont go over well with the Christian Base.

Romney and McCain would be the Super Rich ticket. In a middle Class Election.

Biden will win working class Votes, Romney will remind the working class he is the guy that lays you off.

Biden will be filmed going to church every sunday, Romney will be filmed going to a Mormon church, making the base of the GOP more then Uncomfortable.

So who should McCain pick??

Huckabee would energize the Base.

Huckabee is veiwed as Middle class, Winning overwhelming working class voters.

Huckabee didnt attack McCain during the primary.

Huckabee can hold his own with anyone in debates.

Huckabee Has 1 house

Huckabee is the most logical, despite what the bloggers that are on Romney's payroll say. By the way, the radio host of Republican talk radio

they are on the Romney payroll too. Romney should learn he cant buy an election. He outspent every candidate during the primarys, even outspending Huckabee 6 to 1. Huckabee still got more delegates.

First he used ads featuring Paris Hilton and Britney Spears to show how ‘shallow’ Obama is and now he’s using a raunchy Latino Rapper to sway the Young Hispanic Vote. Is this old man serious? Is he being advised by total idiots???

Perhaps one of his advisors should tell Senator McCain that when Daddy Yankee sings about “Gasolina”, the artist isn’t rapping about offshore drilling. It’s ironic that McCain is dead set against equality for the LGBT community and yet, the Senator has no problems with extolling the virtues whose most popular song is about male sexual ejaculation.

NorthMiamiDave: Why do you assume that if one does not support Obama he/she is not "INTELLIGENT". You stated one of your reasons to support Barack is that "scores of high profile Hispanis.." support him. That is about the dumbest thing I have ever heard. I for one will vote my OWN mind and conscience because it is my right, and also because it is the intelligent thing to do. McCain does not paint Obama as shallow. That ad is a criticism of the media attention that Obama has received. I just think of this as an interview, and Obama is not qualified (McCains resume is also not impressive when considering the job a hand, but the better candidate of the two....just ask Obama's running mate).

Daddy Yankee? That's a good one. Puerto Ricans are instant U.S. citizens since 1917 when Woodrow Wilson must have been drunk out of skull. As well "Dame mas gasolina" trans: "Give me more gasoline" is based on its sexual connotations. If you listen to Reggaeton closely 90% of its rhetoric is based on defamating women.

I hope McCain's evangelical faithful and values voters are kept in the dark about McCain's strange embrace of Pimp Daddy Yankee. Perhaps McCain was confused by the Yankee reference. He obviously has no staff or handlers who bothered to translate the lyrics of "gasolina" to him. Nor has he watched the video, since it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure them out since the sexual references are quite clear. I teach women's studies. This is one of the music videos selected by my Latina students to go to the top of their most offensive, misogynist list.

Let me be a bit more specific. Gasoline, as referenced in this reggaeton tune, has nothing to do with gas prices. Lot's more to do with what those who take Viagra might want to "pump" out.

The words chanted in the song, "duro, duro" (hard, hard) are not about hard times in the economy, and the references to "gatas" (cats) is another term for women which refers to a part of the female anatomy often referenced as a kitten - but starting with the letter "p" and ending in "y". I leave it to you to fill in the blanks. The exhortations in the song to overthrow America, which also escaped McCain’s uniformed pander radar, are of interest as well, since I thought McCain had made "patriotism" his main theme.

That this endorsement event took place at a High School, where young Latinas, who are at high risk for STD’s , teen pregnancy, and HIV/AIDS, were the attendees, it speaks poorly to what values McCain stands for, for our youth. But it certainly shows McCain’s consistency, since he was also willing to enter his wife into the Miss Buffalo Chip topless pageant in Sturgis. Pimping, prostitution and sexual exploitation and tourism are major internal issues. Perhaps this demonstrates McCain’s expertise on “foreign affairs”.

I am a 27 year old Puerto Rican male, Im not into politics, I'm just here to clarify what the metaphor "A ella le gusta la gasolina" really means. Puerto Rican spanish has a lot of slang and phrases with double meaning. To the untrained, non-puerto rican, spanish speaker, a lot of what we say may be misleading or misinterpreted and therefore incorrectly translated due to the lack of knowledge of our (Puerto Ricans) culture's vocabulary. "A ella le gusta la gasolina", the way Yankee puts it, means that "She likes to live life in the fast lane", nothing more, nothing less. It certainly has nothing to do with vaginas or penises or ejaculation or any other sex related nonsense that some of the previous readers have commented about. Apparently, everyone on this forum seems to be translating the lyrics word for word and then coming up with their own stupid conclusions of what it means and are very quick to pass judgement on something they clearly have no clue about. If you dont like McCain, great, who gives a ***. Dont take it out on Ramon Ayala, its not his fault all you guys are retarded!!!
