The Hillary holdouts is almost as big a lie as swiftboat veterans for the truth. Republicans have zero accomplishments to trumpet, their economic policies have been proven to be wrong, and this only shows how desperate they are to muddy the waters. Welfare of the country isn't important just winning elections and making money. We can expect a whole lot more of the same. No substance and a whopping amount of crap wrapped in a flag.

There must be something really wrong with the polictocians this yearm- especially the Dems. They just do not get the fact that they cannot fix another election and they cannot push women around. Call us what you will, but we will be voting for McCain. My entire family is voting McCain becasue we wanted Hillary. I will be working hard for him as well. ANy person who was a Hillary supporter, but especially women, who votes for Obama are stupid fools and deserve everything they have received from the DNC. The Clintons have to make these cute speeches but we do not have to be good little soldiers and fall in line. Obama will fail and we will se to it.

Why can't the Democrats understand that not EVERYBODY likes Barack Obama - many of us life-long Democrats do not believe he is the right person for president - I don't think he is - I don't intend to vote for him even though I will vote Democrat in most other races. Yes, I am a Hillary supporter because I believe she is a far better candidate - she lost - I have to vote my conscience and it isn't Obama.

This just shows how out of touch the Democratic leadership is. Sebelius and others made a huge mistake endorsing Obama. The goodwill generated by the convention will fade soon. Obama Bin Biden must be defeated!

Reading the post below, I think she's right. They claim to be Democrats, but if they vote McCain they would be insane. These poster seem incredibly like plants, and most of then showed-up when asked by the Rove, Limbaugh cheaters.

I agree. Those of us who are Hillary supporters will not support Obama. What makes them think that just because we support Clinton that we will automatically fall in the Democratic line. For the most part, we are Independents who generally vote the Democratic ticket. But not this time. We cannot support a man who is not qualified to hold the position, who must of us don't trust and don't like.

I believe there might be Hillary supporters who so wanted a woman for President, and are so angry that they didn't get one, that they will not vote for a President.

If they vote for McCain, then they were never for the issues anyway, they just wanted a Woman for President.

The reality though, I think, is that even today with all the damage the Republicans have done, there are some people that STILL do not care about the country.

Some people just wanted a woman, or Hillary, to be President. They don't care about the economy, the right to choose, or whether people die in a war to increase oil profits for a few companies. They don't care if the government tortures people or sentences people without a trial.

The same would have been true if Hillary had won. There would have been those who would have sold out their own principals to get revenge if the guy who is half black and half white did not win.

Just like some people will vote for the guy who will line their wallets with profits at the expense of the country. ExxonMobile executives and Shell oil executives, for example are counting on McCain to continue where Bush and Cheney left off, so they'll vote for McCain. (They don't want cheep energy or a better economy; they just want high profits whatever the cost. They want their special deals, and their riches.)

Selfcenteredness will be the down-fall of America if it falls. America became great when our ancestors worked together despite their differences for something greater than themselves.

Here's the thing: Not voting for Obama is the same as voting FOR McCain.

So no matter what the outcome, you cannot escape respobonsibility for the stand you take or refuse to take.

Given the latest Rove tactics in this campaign, I'm sure the Republican campaign has a hand in pseudo disgruntled Hillary supporters on blogs and in polls. I, as an intelligent woman, refuse to believe there are Hillary supporters who would not vote for Obama if they TRULY believed in her as a Presidential candidate. If they truly want a woman for President they are shooting themselves in the foot to think that by staying home and not voting or voting for McCain is the answer. If Obama is not elected and some of the blame is handed off to Hillary and her "supporters", you can be assured it will be a long time to come before another woman runs again. Including Hillary.

Meanwhile, I think it's time the Hillary supporters - and Hillary - accept responsibility for her not winning. Blame it on a grossly mismanaged campaign, an awful campaign director and the internal backstabbing by her staffers, blame it on her not reaching out to younger women earlier and Chelsea's refusal to deal with the press, blame it on her husband's reckless statements in South Carolina, blame it her Balkan experience lies and exaggerated experience...Blame it on all of the above and especially the fact that many women, including me, did not want to have to deal with former President Clinton's sexual escapades anywhere near the White House again. Just accept responsibility, stop whining, get moving, and vote Obama. Or this country will never climb out of the hellhole the Republican administration has put us in.

To Askplus... I am not nor have I ever a Republican. Neither am I a Mr. I happen to be an informed Independent (probably more than you) from the most liberal state in the nation, Massachusetts. So don't state that I'm a Republican. Nor state that I'm petty for not supporting Obama. There are many of us who will not support Obama. Just a note... if someone doesn't support Obama you as his supporters seem not to be able to take any criticism. You resort to calling name calling... You're another reason some will not vote for Obama.

Further, by not addressing any of the issues for not supporting Mr. Obama, nor reporting the reason why you will support McCain, you are petty. You seem to have a strong opinion about people not being able to take criticism when it is you who seems overly sensitive. If you wish to vote for men's-rights, lower pay and immovable greed, go for it. You seem very Rovian, Limbaughvian and curt.
