Before the new President even thinks of contemplating any form of guest worker program. He had better realize that their will not be a 'Path to Citizenship' in the package deal. It will be a straight working visa and return home afterwards. If any person wants to apply for legal residents, they had better understand that they must return home first. There must not be any short cuts, because thousands of bona fide immigrants wait patiently for years to enter America.

Get rid of the open-borders criminals, including the Governors, Mayors , city Administrators and all those who out to appease the illegal immigrant advocates.

80 percent of the American population are NOT easily going to be swayed, by either Obama, McCain to give the 13 to 20 million illegal aliens any kind of Amnesty.? By any name they want to call it? It has to be voted by house, Senate, and THE PEOPLE and that will have major hurdles, if not impossible?

Everybody who doesn't have the right papers, know they are intentionally breaking the law. Their is no malice by the agents; just a duty to the American people and those who came here legally. The 'Rule of Law" must be observed by every person in the United States. LAUREL, Miss, a manufacturing plant where 600 illegal aliens were arrested this week, shows the abnormality of the problem? The federal agents declined how many agents were involved in the raid, but said they acted on a tip provided by a union worker.

I think most Democrats pondered why Mr.Obama only performed intermittent defense of his character. I think that the subject has changed to Mr. McCain and his inherent and inherited faults. Mr. Obama was the better man for not going to far down the same path - just like Mr. Clinton in 1992 - and not make a joke of his campaign.

Hussein Obama is a racist fraud. He claims to be the first Afro-American candidate for president when in fact he is only half-black. Why is playing up his "blackness?" Anyone who mentions race is a racist in my book. They are obviously playing up to their color rather than their character. Why does Hussein Obama not refer to himself as the first half-breed candidate which is what he really is.

I cannot tolerate racism and we are seeing it in its grandest form with Hussein Obama.

If he were better qualified to be president than John McCain he would get my vote, but he isn't and I won't vote for him, not because he is a half-black man, but because he is playing to the racist crowd.

Reading some of these posts makes me worry that regardless who wins this coming election there isn't enough intelligence left in this country to get us out of the mess we are in...

I think you missed what dumbwhiteboy was “trying” to say. There are many mixed race children who call themselves biracial or multiethnic. They only claim their “blackness” or ethnic heritage when there is on advantage to them. For instance, Maria Carey used to tell people she was Italian. It was only when it was of financial benefit to her did she acknowledge her Black heritage. Christina Aguilera didn’t claim her Columbian heritage (I think) until it was of benefit to her. For both, it was to sell records.

What dumbwhiteboy is attempting to imply is that Barack Obama is only claiming his Black-American heritage because it is of benefit to him now. (I hate the word African-American or Afro-American. My heritage like most Black Americans is mixed with African origins as well as Native American and white. The term African-American dishonors and discounts that heritage.) Dumbwhiteboy considers this racist in his eyes and rightfully so. However Dumbwhiteboy, neither you nor I can peer into the mind of Barack Obama to see if that assumption is valid.

If you care about issues like NAFTA, Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), Telecom Immunity, single-payer health care, a living wage, repeal of the Taft-Hartley Act, and others? If the answer is yes, then look at Ralph Nader.
