I would rather have Bill Clinton wielding all that power than that pig Karl Rove. I don't see it as a problem in fact I see it as an asset. Two Presidents has to be better than the half-wit we have in office now.

This could theoretically be a moot point.

Based upon my reading of the 22nd Amendment of the Constitution (Presidential Term Limits), the limit is specific to being elected to the office of President.

It does not preclude the possibility of a previously elected two term President from being elected as VICE President, and being able to ASSUME the office of President for something beyond the second term, in the case of the Elected President is unable to fulfill his or her duties.

Andrew, first, it would ridiculous for Hillery to speak to such an issue, regardless of your dismissal of her expected response. Second, you can be assured that none of the Democratic candidates will countenance a person similar to the current Veep; never again, ever. Thankfully.

Hillery will manage to complete her entourage, should she win the nomination, bet on it!

Why on earth should he? Anyoone would be just crazy to do so. I think we should all consider the possibility of Hillary in the White House and if this is actually Constitutional. Bill was a two term president. Is this, in reality, a slippery move by the party to get Bill a third term as president-albeit, indirect. Will he be calling the shots in the White House. Interesting! On the other hand I don't think she will be the Democratic choice. She has too many skeletons in the closet. People may think the current administration performed poorly but I don't think the U.S. is ready to hand over the reins to the other party. More than likely that will occur in 2012.

Every cabinet member and vice-president knows that he/she is competing with many other voices to be heard. Joe Biden would have a far better chance of being taken seriously by a Clinton president/first spouse administration than Colin Powell ever did as a token adult serving as Secretary of State.
