&lt;p&gt;That does require that the electorate be wise about what they demand. &amp;nbsp;Rome went down while the populace was demanding, more or less, &amp;quot;bread and circuses.&amp;quot; &amp;nbsp;We have to do better to avoid the same fate.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;If you consider yourself a spokesman, and hopeful leader of your generation, I would suggest that you start prodding your &amp;quot;coddled &amp;quot; generation to get off their asses and actually do something for themselves-instead of just assuming some one will do it for you.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;For instance, tell them to actually get involved as a group, and as an individual, in their local politics. &amp;nbsp;Start monitoring and telling your US congressman and senators that you will not tolerate&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;their ignoring you! &amp;nbsp;Write letters , make phone calls, let them know you're watching! &amp;nbsp;Let them know their jobs are performance evaluated. &amp;nbsp;I know this is like asking you guys to be super-human; but I believe in you!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I think you should start a national organization like the AARP. &amp;nbsp;But, you could call it the&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;quot;AACG&amp;quot; &amp;nbsp;(American Association of a Coddled Generation). &amp;nbsp;And as sooner &amp;nbsp;you can get someone to do that for you , the better.&lt;/p&gt;
