One thing I have learnt thoughout my lifetime is that those who do well in a harsh environment such as business or politics are those who cannot be easily guessed. The calm and collected person is one who has the luxury of reflecting and acting without giving the opponent too much ammunition. Obama fits this description. It is not a weakess or something he should be apologetic about. It is a gift that many do not have.

Being black and open to so many attacks, this personality has served him well. The public is seeing Obama as he is but what they are not seeing is how he feels inside. He must be hurting at times to hear certain things. But he needs to be strong and resolute to that the millions of people supporting him will see hope and not despair. I watch his face whenever McCain says some nasty things about him; he smiles. I watched him and Mrs. Clinton; how he always was the first to go towards her and paid so much attention to what she was saying. I notice how he is spontaneous to go up to McCain and and greet him. Sometimes I feel bad for him because I notice the body language from his opponents that shows some resentment. Still he does not change. This is admirable.

Yes in this respect he is invisible because he does not let people see through him. And of course some people would be cautious about this personality. But again as someone who has this personality too, I can clearly say that it is a strength and nothing that makes one devious. It makes some people who want to know what you are reallly thinking. But do they really have to know? I do not think so. As presldent this trait will serve him during difficult times, during negotiations.

He suggests that voters have deep concerns about Obama’s qualifications. He notes that Obama has accomplished virtually nothing to merit being president. He talks with authority, as usual. These suggestive comments are well known to have an effect on some people. But the effect on many is negligible or non-existent.

Now, Obama came into the race really handicapped. All the character assassinations against him had to be worked on and it is clear now that Obama is looked upon by a very wide cross-section of Americans as a viable presidential material. Obama has shown time and time again, in his debates, his discussions about issues, his knowledge, his plans and his comportment, that he is qualified and ready to be president today. He has shown that he has the required organizational and management skills and his accomplishments attest to this fact. So Karl Rove is wrong, even though he writes his opinions with such authority.

It is surprising that he feels that Obama has accomplished nothing. Well what do we expect Karl Rove to say? What has Karl Rove himself accomplished for the American people? Obama’s record is one of excellence. He is young but full of successes that will are enviable, if one takes the time to go to Obama’s website. There is little point dwelling on this because the facts exist. Unless Karl Rove is a magician who can make all of that disappear, Obama will go down in history for his accomplishments..

What Obama has accomplished in his lifetime and during this past 18 months is not something that every American can achieve. It takes a certain person to plan and go through it all, to this point where panic reigns amongst some of the republicans and people such as Karl Rove. They will continue to say and do many things to minimize Obama and discredit him. The American people will be the ones who decide if there are no voting irregularities. So wishful thinking is not enough to make him lose.

Let us wait and see.

Also, he perfectly predicted the current real estate market meltdown and the picture he paints about what will happen in the next couple years

is terrifying. He thinks it will be worse then the great depression.

The banks in the U.S. are going under one after the other. Countrywide ,Bear Stearns, Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch , Fanny and Freddy Mae ,AIG

The government took them over because they are essentially bankrupt. Even with the goverment nationalizing hundreds of billions of dollars in debt the stock market is crashing

the credit markets are frozen and all of us may suffer beyond anything in the last 80 years.

McCain just like Bush " doesn't understand the economy".

That not just my opinion its his own words. Not only does he not understand how to fix it but he does not understand exactly what is broken.

It is no surprise that he doesn't. The people that make up these securities use complex mathematical models very few people understand.

Bush and McCain both can take the credit for this mess since they helped deregulate the laws that were protecting us.

Bush's economic advisor Phil Graham wrote the deregulation bill that allowed banks to take huge risks with all of our future.

Now, Phil Graham is the head of McCain's economic policy. He is also McCain's choice for the next secretary of the treasury.

No one in this country can afford for that to happen. The last time Bush met with his economic advisors was in March. He didnt realize that anything was wrong. Phil Graham had the guts to say that we are in a mental recession after he helped create the worst economy meltdown in our lifetime.
It will take the best and brightest minds in the world to get us out of this nightmare. As bad as Bush has done, McCain would be

even more destructive because things are in much worse shape. The next president will not inherit a surplus like Bush did but a crashing economy and a 11,600,000,000,000 (trillion) dollars deficit. Most of it Bush created and it will take decades to pay it back.

If you do what you have always done then you will get what you have always got.

When it comes to policy Bush and McCain are the same 90 percent of the time.

So why are the polls even close then ?

Mccains team just said they no longer want to talk about the economy.Instead they would like to spend time talking about obama

which means running the biggest smear campaign in history.

They think they can just tell you lies and you wont be smart enough to see through it

Let's teach him we are smarter than that .
