Stumper, you make me sad. Why oh why did you have to prove to the other crappy media outlets, that you too can be part of a smear machine (whether you know it or not) that brands Hillary Clinton as so liberal. She is to the right of Edwards, Obama, Dodd, Kucinich, Gravel, and plenty of other people in congress not running for President. And yet you contribute to the machine that marginalizes liberal politicians when thier interests are most in line with mainstream America's. I would expect this type of Shoddy scholarship from Fox or CNN, but MSNBC was my last hope!

Hi JusticeBrennan, To answer your question: when I say that "Ted Kennedy may be the only human lifeform who trumps Hillary Clinton on the liberal-o-meter," I am joking. Or, to be more specific, I am ironically parroting conservatives who hold up "Ted Kennedy" and "Hillary Clinton" as the exemplars of dastardly liberalism. Who really cares? I'm a conservative, and I wouldn't walk across the street to vote for either one of them. A vote for them is a vote for the same thing we've had for more years than I can even stomach to think about.

Romney, Guliana, neither one make a good case to be president. It seems all they want to do is point out what they percieve will hurt the other candidates. I don'y have time for that. I want to hear what they stand for what they see our Country doing during their term as President. So far the only one who is talking about that is Fred Thompson and even he is starting to strike at other candidates.

Well, I enjoyed the comparison between the "hopefuls". While a may be a republican...I am far from conservative and enjoy the "liberal" attributes of the candidates being brought to the light. I find it hilarious that Romney said that he would be on the left of Teddy on human rights...I guess its obvious that he has changed his opinion in the last 14 years! Moreover, I find it wildly amusing that advocating for a homosexual's "persuit of happiness" is such a bad thing! Is there not a candidate that is a perfect hybrid of liberal and conservative? Lets be tough on crime, respect individuality, keep taxes low and government small, let people choose for themselves, provide quality education for children, and support our economy...is this possible?

my apologies for such a sharp reply to your story. No offense intended to you, but to your subjects. I know that all the running down of quotes about ,"he said, he said" must be quite tiresome, and with these two ninnies probably requires copious amounts of Pepto, Rolaids, and air freshener, and I thank you for this toil, for which you were probably not well enough compensated.
