At a news conference Sunday in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, a reporter asked Clinton if Barack Obama has a "character problem." Her response, as reported by Pat Healy

re: Hillary's Idea of Fun

It seems to me that Hillary has made a strategic mistake by uttering the word "it is going to be fun" over Obama's charecter issue. She should be little careful at this stage of the campaign specially in Iowa. She needs to talk more about her policies rather than a bit personal about a candidate. As you know that Iowan's do not like a candidate that uses a negetive persona of the other candidate and that itself will be achilies hill for Hillary.

Than again, history suggests that the Iowan's usually waits long time before they make up their mind and caucus for a candidate. No one is actually paying attention to Senator Biden and what if those Iowan's decide to vote for him and that itself will perhaps make the election in Iowa very interesting. So, stay tuned until some one makes a terrible mistake on January 3rd, 2007.

I remember uttering the same words the day the Americans set up that staged pulling down of Saddam's statue. That phrase as used by Hillary seemed kind of nasty. She is very capable, I am sure, and if she is the nominee I will vote for her, but the nastiness should be saved for those who deserve it: the folks with bad memories, those who hedge and, let's face it, lie. I don't see that in Obama. He doesn't deserve her sarcastic remarks.

When compared to Ron Paul, neither of them comes off with much of a pro-America profile. Hillary is for gay rights and abortion, and Obama doesn't exactly advertise it that he is a Muslim,as his father and stepfather were, or that his mother was an atheist.

Isn't it time for a change? A new direction? How complacent have we become with the malific image we continue to spread to the rest of the world? I wish Obama would start differentiating himself from the pack by explaining to the American people in great detail how he is the candidate to bring about change with regards to the Middle East and re-building America's shattered image across the world. During a speech, Obama once said he would travel to the foreign countries where we have created bitter enemies and make amends with their world leaders. How is this not a good idea and how many other candidates are truly willing to make this sort of meaningful exchange that leads to a de-escalation of U.S. related foreign conflicts? I believe he is a humble and genuine person who may actually be capable in achieveing this, instead of the hollow posturing of the other candidates. It is very likely Obama would proactively seek out new negotiations and understandings with foreign relations and attempt to heal the wounds the current presidency has dealt to America and the rest of the world. Let's be realistic here for just a moment..How many terrorists are we going to have to kill before we exterminate every last one of them? It is already ensured that the young family members of the terrorsists we kill seek retribution on the U.S.-most likely for the rest of their life. And what about their kids? Are they going to forget the destruction we have wrought to their grandfathers? This self-perpetuating cycle needs to end now, before it gets any more despicable and detrimental than it has already become.

Bottom line. The next president whomever they are, will be starting out their presidency at a handicap-trying to heal the lengthy list of open wounds and looming injustices that we've created abd dealt to our world image. We must rectify these injustices before any of the new initiatives by the future president can be heard and acted upon by the new vision and direction of our new leader.

It matters to me that America regains its stature in the global community as an example; a nation that leads by setting a positive example, not force-feeding our narrow version of capitalism and democracy as "God's only way" to salvation? There is so much being left unsaid here. What we desperately need as a nation and as a world is de-escalation of violence, hatred and terrorism. Obama urged that we need to be getting rid of WMD's and nuclear weapons. How is this not a good message to spread to the rest of the world? In essence, he is saying to the rest of the world that we are not a pressing threat to the rest of the world and we should therefore not be treated like one. We reap what we sow. So why not spread a message of reconciliation and tolerance for other nations and cultures instead of strong-arming them into submission? Being a civil rights lawyer, I can't help but think Obama actually stands for peace, understanding and "actual" foreign reconciliation versus more death, intolerance, ignorance, imperialism and destruction that "politics as usual" from some of the other candidates will bring to the rest of the world in the upcoming presidency.

This crazy lady will tax us into the poor house paying for a battery of tests every time someone has a runny nose. Obama wants to travel the world sucking up to every country that supposedly "hates" us. The reason they do in the first place is because Liberals have been running around telling everyone what a horrible country we are just so they can get a drop in Bush's approval rating. I don't even want to go into the trial lawyer.

Elect anyone of these people and 10 years from now you won't even be able to yell at your neighbor. Either he won't speak English or you will be locked up for hurting someones feelings. Unless that someone is a white Christian. Then if they yell back they will go to jail. Come on one of the biggest reasons this country is a wonderful place to live is because you can go 3000 miles and still talk to people!

And believe me the Republicans are no better. Hell, if this is best a nation of 300 million has to offer, we are in trouble!

She was trying to put civil balance into the exchange. It is a kind of reverse humor, but it is definitely humor.

Some people criticize Hillary because they just misunderstand her wit and her intellect; and they call her self-control and dignity "cold and hard". Oh, would that more could be like her! Perhaps one would do better to recognize a rare jewel for what it is rather than criticize it for its brightness just because of its rarity.!
