Alaska Women Reject Sarah Palin rally was held his past Saturday.

There was an amazing turnout of like-minded women (and men and children)!

So !  Palin refers to herself as a Pit Bull with lipstick.   I ask you "what do you call a female dog"??  Does it rhyme with witch??

I not of that opinion. I think significant family matters are fair game for straight forward, factual reporting. Frankly, that's all I've heard from the major media. Bristol's pregnant, she's marrying the father. To my mind, this on a par with Obama's little girls attend a private school. Now I don't know what bloggers have done with this, I hear they have responded in heavily judgmental muck raking style. I have no direct knowledge of this, I haven't come across such blogs, but if true I would say it is out of bounds. The whole process of trying to avoid clearly stating by muck raking is much, much too prevalent in modern politics. I would like to see candidates stand or fall on the weight of leadership and solutions to the problems we face, not on how much they can scare people about the other candidate or tar him or her.  The Irony of Steve Schmidt, Rove's heir apparent complaining about how the press is treating his candidate is priceless however. Steve is a hired scumbag that's had a hand in some of the biggest lies told about Democratic candidates.  Its something you can't buy with MasterCard.

Obama has been scrutinized for almost 2 years, and his critics complain that they still don't know enough about him. Palin has been scrutinized for 2 weeks, and the McCain camp tells us that we know everything we need to know about her and to back off.

I don't think so. It is our right and duty to carefully examine the background, qualifications, and policies of those who wish be be our national leaders. Palin should not be exempt from the process simply because she is female.

Sarah Palin believes that God in on her side, and that everything she does is "God's will".  Therefore, she is incapable of doing wrong.  That is how she ran affairs as mayor of Wasilla (e.g., trying to ban books in the public library that she found objectionable, and trying to fire the librarian when she refused to acquiesce to her demands) and as governor of Alaska  (most state employees fear retribution if they speak their mind about her or her policies).

I personally do not want this Machiavellian in the #2 position of our federal government.

I agree that family should be off limits, but when has the press ever been responsible in respecting those limitations.  Thats like walking around a city at night fanning yourself with money and blaming a criminal for robbing you. Of course its wrong, but you couldve avoided it by showing some judgment. If Sarah Palin didnt want her daughter to be targeted by irresponsible journalists and bloggers, she could have protected them by not seeking or accepting the VP spot.

More hypocrisy coming from Senator McCain and the Republican talking heads.....

When conjuring up the image of an unwed teen mother, many conservatives have always  painted the picture of someone living in the inner city, someone black or brown, living off the government with no ambition and no family support. It’s interesting to see how quickly the party has rallied in support now that the face of teen pregnancy is one of their own. Politics as usual?  Perhaps.  But it’s hypocritical just the same.

If you believe the Republicans are rallying against alleged sexism in the media, then you should visit former Houston councilmember, and  shameless talk show host Michael Berry's 740KTRH am  webpage where he has posted  a despicable audio that pokes fun of Michelle Obama's  anatomy.  He masquerades this audio as if it’s Bill Clinton. Of course, this can be easily remedied by contacting the Federal Communication Commission office (FCC)   to begin proceedings to get his show off the air - but nevertheless it is offensive, and hypocritical.

Fortunately, we do have a clear choice in this election. We have two men with intelligent and respectable wives who represent the best of America. ..... not two people whose strategies cater to the worst of America.  When you think about it, perhaps the biggest threat to American’s security is the current Republican party.

Obama/Biden 08

Yes We Can because

Sarah Palin & John Mc-Cain't & probably never will!
