Yes let's look at what have become of the railroads and oil companies, they've either merged and become stronger or been regulated to the point where they aren't profitable and require federal assistance to survive. Keep government out of healthcare! We can reform, and regulate but if they get any deeper in then we are econamically doomed! Look at the VA system, Medicare and Medicade and tell me that the government can run a budget nuetral agency that isn't FUBAR.
Nan32 you must be a comedian. Do you really think someone has replaced Mike Huckabee with whatever illiterate buffoon wrote that garbage? Do you think ANYONE is dumb enough to think the healthcare bill actually states what's in your "attorney's" list?

According to you, this is from the healthcare reform bill (who knows which one, because there are currently several), "AS WRITTEN." So I guess the author of the healthcare reform bill is as illiterate as "Mike Huckabee" is!?
Why is it ok to so many people that the insurance companies are paying off so many Congresspeople (ie all of the Republicans and the dirty-dog, uh blue-dog, Democrats)? Insurance companies alone -- not counting pharmaceuticals and hospital corporations -- are spending more than $1 million a day fighting healthcare reform. Does anyone really believe they're doing that to look out for OUR best interests?
A representative of an insurance company came by my job (and the company I work for is known for having one of the best health plans available to employees) the other day and left a flyer. The flyer advertised supplementary insurance for CANCER, MAJOR HEALTH EVENTS, etc. To me that illustrated perfectly why we need healthcare reform. If we have the best health plans available, why would we need extra insurance for cancer, or any other disease? Isn't that what our insurance is supposed to pay for in the first place? The system has gotten so bad that insurance companies are not even embarrassed that they are trying to sell you insurance for your insurance!
