I hope he is just taking some time to be alone and he is okay. This is a big concern for his wife. He should at least let her know what's going on, she is his wife!

Maybe this is just a womans's intuition thing, but generally when a married man, "needs some space" and cannot be reached, then offers up some lame excuse, it means only one thing. But hey, since the guy is a republican, and probably stands on a platform of family values and anti everything, whatever he was "doing" all night is probably going to be really interesting.

It sounds the Governor is a sleeze. My guess is that he's either having a fling in Brazil with a young boy or man.
