Here is a great article from Asia Chronicle (www.asiachroniclenews.net) about the migrant worker situation in Southeast Asia http://www.asiachroniclenews.com/default.asp?sourceid=&smenu=88&twindow=Default&mad=No&sdetail=174&wpage=1&skeyword=&sidate=&ccat=&ccatm=&restate=&restatus=&reoption=&retype=&repmin=&repmax=&rebed=&rebath=&subname=&pform=&sc=2970&hn=asiachroniclenews&he=.com
It certainly is the poor becoming poorer
The world has provided the most opportune platform for the rich and powerful to grab more money and power -- MORE, MORE, they are chanting.
That leaves hardly anything for the pathetic and oppressed poor who keep struggling for less -- LESS, LESS, they keep lamenting.
This has been the truth, still is, and will always be.
As such, how could the poor not be poorer, irrespective of good or bad times?
